I love hearing stripped down acoustic version of songs, such as MTV Unplugged (caught your show with SRV by the way). Have you ever considered doing something like that on your own? Don't know if it's very marketable in today's detuned, 7-string craze, but I would love to hear it.

hey everyone!!! the new site looks awesome!! -- Jon, i was wondering if there was any chance of putting up wallpapers and that kinda stuff on the site; also, I think it's a neat idea having the T2J work like a message board forum cos that's definitely more interactive!! Hooded JS jumpers are a must!
PhrygianDominant -- don't mean to be a pain, but remember the video of satch and vai jamming i asked you about? did you put it up for D/L yet? -- Looking forward to getting the new album, joe!! it sounds fantastic!!

I definitely agree with the idea of allowing us to select a time zone in our preferences. I can never intuitively convert from PST to EDT/EST. It is just a litle detail, of cours,e but details are what set excellent apart from merely good.
Also, please ignore the requests to put the messages in the order they were on the previous T2J. It's so much more intuitive to start at the oldest and move to the newest, rather than moving backwards.
Overall, I like it- a lot. Especially the new black background here. Also, the band-crew section is cool.
Oooh, italics now as well!!! Whee!!
Keep up the good work, Jon!
Oh, and Salina, I love you!

I'm glad the 'Satch Fans' like the site look. Still having problems with the downloading....except 'Stary Night.'
It is neat to hear form the radio show that Steve Morse Played in sandals! Phil Collins (Def Leppard) plays with no shirt,
Because of sweating, I guess. On to the new songs...........Thanks again Joe:!!!!!KTF Randell

WOW I'm away for a week and the paradigm has shifted!!! Crap, Webmaster, I'm trying to get used to the site all over again. Just spent half an hour trying to get un-lost. Personally I dislike changes that are this dramatic, but it looks good, and I'll soon get used to it.
This is a test: <((/\/\IND STOR/\/\))>
btw trying to check out the sound bits, but this machine is playing back too fast.
later BEN

that american idol show is hilarious...simon cowell is a heartless bastard but he's funny! i think the half black half white dude that looks like sideshow bob from the simpsons should win...he's the only one who sounded really good and wasn't a stuck up idiot...some of those people just had an attitude that they knew it all. after one performance this girl sang a christina aguilera song but it was way way off....the black guy said "i don't think one note was right" and the girl goes "i wasn't trying to sing the right notes" HAHAHAHAHA well wtf were you trying to sing? comedy man...comedy...then the black record producer (whos fat) got in a weigh argument with a chubby contestant...the contestant said "if you ever want to join a gym i'll work out with you" and the producer says "you need to live in a gym money" i was rolling...but in the end these people aren't trying to help someone start a legitimate career...they are gonna be used as a tool to generate $$$ for the fat guys in the suits...shame shame...yes black background is much better...this is the best version of satriani.com i've seen out of the 3 i have witnessed...i think it was 3...the crystal planet/time machine one, EOC...now this...

I think the color scheme is now perfect. All the new features kick ass. I saw those metal plated guitars. Very cool. I just wonder how the finish lasts. The JS10th's are plated on lucite platic which accepts chrome better. Rich has got a couple for sale at www.ibanezrules.com. It's worth a look.

Hi all.
Jon - Great continued work on this Strange Beautiful Website. I think the black background here looks much better. Just a comment... The box that says "View Comments From The Last...". The text in the drop down box and the "Go" button are grey and very hard to read. Can you change the color there to black?
Al Surfer - Way to go with the bold step...LOL. ;-)
Quantum - I think PhrygianDominant said that the video file was 90 MB. He'll get it online if someone has webspace.
(test)
Can we underline stuff as well? Hehehe...
(end test)

So...Japanese Bonus track means it's not going to be available on the cd initially or what? Will there be a different 'import' album with that song on it available at release? Same thing for Slick...because both sound pretty good from the clips, and I'd like to have them on the cd... :X

cds are pressed in 3 different locations : USA for the whole american continent, Germany for Europe and Asia, and Japan, obviously for japanese market. So, if the japanese cd has a bonus track, chances are that none of the other pressed cds will have the same.
"Slick" has not been incorporated in any cd (yet?). So, today is 13th, and worldwide release is on 25th, I'm certain that all cds are already on their way to the stores, so putting an extra track is impossible. Maybe we can expect a bonus track cd, much in the like of "additional creations"
