Joe, I am a Big fan from San Jose, CA. I have seen you 4 times in the past five years. Every time I hoped you would play Crushing Day. Can you play it on your upcoming tour? Or is there a reason I should already know, that you don't play that song? If so, someone tell me. That song kick's ass.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a website were you could listen to a recording of Joe's Rockline interview. Unfortunatly I missed the interview and was just wondering if there was any way that I could hear it.

Yo Austin, see you @ 8/11!!!
So, you've got a Stu II, eh? I've been saving up for one, possibly a custom made 5-string (anyone know how to contact Todd Krause?),
Is it super cool like only a Stu bass could be?

Joe, just letting you know I turned a bunch of people on to you who (unbelieveably) had never heard you. Needless to say they were blown away by you. They are all now going to see you on the tour now and went out and bought a bunch of your stuff (cd and dvd). Just wanted to say thanks for the great playing and keep it coming. See you in Denver! John

hey hey, i like the transparent table backgrounds, much MUCH nicer than the white ones...something else you could do is make the border thinner on the posts, they're kinda fat and ugly..or no border at all, i dunno how that'd look.. but anyways, looks nice, keep up the good work :)
and as for the author search stuff, you should make it "last post by _______" or something like that or where it says "# posts total under the authors name, have it clickable to display all their posts..just spittin out ideas, hope it helps or leads to something

Hi Joe,
My englisch ist not too correct but I think the God of Guitar will help us to communicate. I come from afrika and I´m one of your admirator. It will be a dream for me to see you one day.
I´m now in Germany and I will do my best to see you in Hamburg or in Berlin.
Joe believe me your guitar bring peace where there is war and bring Love where there is hate.
The God of guitar will be with you day and night.
All my best intention.

Hi Joe, I am a major fan steming from the mid 80's and it came to me that you are one of the biggest Hendrix fans I know of, so I wanted to let you know of an amp I am selling. I bought it as a collectors item and it is completely unused. You may have one already or may not be interested in it but I need to find the right home for this beauty. It is a purple colored MK2 Marshall full stack. 1 of 100 made, very rare, all celestion 25 watt speakers and the amp is a reissue of what Jimmy used at some points of his career. The bottom cab is about a half a foot taller than the standard bottom cab of today. The head is 100 watt, with slanted cab and big bottom cab, when it is all stacked up, it is a monster. I have only tried it out the one time I bought it in the store and have not used it since. I am the original owner and have the receipts to prove it. Color scheme is as follows, Purple cloth, with the usual gold and white trim but with wicker styled grills. It is truly a replica of the classic amp and has no today technology in it, with exception of that it was made 8 years ago. I am sure you have seen one somewhere, cause you are the SATCH. If you are interested in a picture of this or know someone that would be interested in this peice, please let me know, I want to find the right home for it. I live near Seattle Wa. and tried to reach Paul Allen, but no response yet. My address is patricksweeney1@msn.com and feel free to reach me here or have someone do it if you can't your self. Oh, love the Frisco DVD by the way. Stay cool JOE, you are the king, thanks for all the great music. P.S. this Hendrix limited edition Marshall is only 1 of 100 produced by Marshall and anyone else that is serious about purchasing this beast, can also reach me here too, only serious buyers please. Thank you.

PhrygianDominant - Thanks man. I'll try that. I was thinking I might have to the first five minutes of audio and the second five minutes separately and then try to join them together with no seams. Very difficult, that would have been. The loss of the user's manual clouds everything... lol
The Local Person - My gilrfriend is doing a Maths exam today, so I assume it's that one. I just picked the slightly more light hearted subjects - Music and an AVCE in Performing Arts. My last exam is on Monday. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe (or anyone that knows...) - This is probably a really stupid question, but is Joe Satriani your real name or just a stage name? What's your take on stage names? Also, I agree with whoever it was that suggested having that JS logo thing made into a car sticker. That would be cool, IMHO.
Seeyas later. The 25th approaches...

Al Surfer - Yeah, I know Austin-peats don't count...haha. It was funny...I had a bunch of posts in a row where I either forgot to mention stuff, or people posted new things in the time it took me to write the previous post. I feel kinda bad, almost. It's good that the 4 hour limit is gone, but if I post too often Jon'll put it back up. I need to be quiet for a while, I guess... ;-)
paradigm shift24 - Trust me, this way will be much better in the long run. Once you get up to date with everything and use the "mark read" feature, all of the new comments should be able to fit on one page.
quasitar - I think Joe played Crushing Day back on the Surfing... tour, but he hasn't played it since. He's talked about it on the website here, after numerous requests by us fans. He basicaly said it's hard to get a live arrangement that works well with the song. Good news, though...Joe said that he'd give the song another shot on this tour. We'll just have to wait and see...
akreepish1 - The Urge II is awesome. It is beyond super cool...LOL. You can get any sound in the world with it...no joke. The pickups are wonderful and the fingerboard is so smooth...slides are a piece of cake. I love mine...I'm going to try to get some sound clips online soon.
wadep - I have a feeling that Joe's favorite Ibanez guitar is his JS1000 signature model. ;-)
roundy - Welcome to the site...it's always nice to see new faces around here. =)
PhrygianDominant - What newsgroup? You don't have to post it here if you don't want to...I understand. But can you email me privately? I read alt.fan.joe-satriani and it is so dead there. I'm not interested in the pirated stuff obviously, but if the newsgroup that you mentioned is pretty active I'd like to start reading it...LOL. Thanks...
...Austin...

Spank my bottom with a wet towel - i've been a bad boy.... I downloaded Additional Creations and "Talk to Me" from the net. My only excuse is it was the only way I was likely to hear either. What are peoples views on the whole downloading thing, audiogalaxy, limewire etc I for one have never downloaded entire albums just single tracks, rareties, songs by bands I might not shell out for the whole album or have trouble finding. I reckon this is ok but I agree entirely with the problems faced by professional musicians where they are losing album sales cos people arn't buying their stuff cos they can get it for free else where. well thats just a couple of thoughts anyway.......
