sparrow - I don't think Jon tours with Joe at all. If he did there would be a lot more road pictures on the website. I know Jon is with Joe for the webcasts and other big events...so I imagine he might go out with Joe for a week's worth of shows, but nothing more than that.
JS Clone 1 - The Japanese version will be the same as the US version except that it will have an extra track. Everything on the CD and inside the case is printed in English. Most Japanese versions also include a cardboard insert inside the shrinkwrap that advertises the album in Japanese writing.
Kda - If there is a tab book, I don't think Joe will have time to get it out until early next year...
alanski - Additional Creations was produced in very limited quantities and bundled with the first run of EOC CDs in some stores in the US. Copies pop up on ebay every now and then for about $10 or less.

I know I read this on this board. Then again, I think I know alot of things...
At any rate, somebody was talking about some kind of tea that Steve Vai drinks to maintain his dexterity (or so they say the tea does this). I'm curious to know what this magic tea is so I can fall victim to marketing.

Joe, Please add some shows to your eastcoast leg of the SBM tour...there's nothing in VA, NC, or SC (again!) I know the Ritz in Raleigh, NC sucked last time(G3)...but the HOB show with the EOC was a great venue to see you...do it man!...It's ugly to see a 48 yr old guitar player on his knees crying!... :) Thanks for your music, Michael

Kda - Cherry Lane are the people who produce the Joe Satriani music books. People who work there transcribe the music themselves. Usually 9-12 months after the album the book comes out.
Sweep Pick - I know man. I went to HMV and asked aswell. I was pissed. September... I just won't wait. I haven't listened to a single thing from SBM yet whether it was an offical track or not. I am definately ordering a copy.
For anyone who is interested and won't mind paying $25.00 more than you'll have to...

Rik Emmett just released a 20th Century Masters CD with all his best solo work and also some Live Acoustic Versions of some classic Triumph tunes; among them are Hold On, Lay It On The Line, and another I'm not familiar with. Can't wait to buy that!

Joe, first i want to say thank you for all the creative and inspirational music you continue to give your fans, you are simply the best. I hope you keep the G3 tours going, If you take suggestions on artists to join the tour, I would like to suggest Frank Marino. I have been listening to Frank since the mid 70's and think he would fit right in with you and Steve Vai. Just listen to his new CD" Eye of the Storm" and you will see what I mean. Thanks for listening Joe.

Found this crappy post at Circuit City. Laughable !
What's a guitar hero to do now that the masses prefer electronic beats and rap-metal to killer scale runs? Joe Satriani seeks that answer on Strange Beautiful Music. Satriani set himself apart from other would-be kings of the six-string in the 1980s by combining impeccable technique with great feel and pop hooks. With those qualities, he produced great guitar-driven albums like Surfing With the Alien and Flying in a Blue Dream. On his 2002 release, Satriani tries to make his music fresh by incorporating world music influences and a bit of techno flava. To his credit, he succeeds more than he fails. "Belly Dancer" combines straight-up rock riffs with Middle Eastern-twinged melodies and faster-than-sound runs up and down the fretboard. On "Oriental Melody," Satch's world music sensibility shines with the help of ping-pong delay and keyboards. He still has a knack for great hooks, too, as is evident on "New Last Jam," which features a melody that bounces around in your head for days. But none of these tracks approach the pop brilliance of his Surfing With the Alien songs. In many ways, the experimental nature of songs like "What Breaks a Heart" hark back to his Not of This Earth release. But Strange Beautiful Music suffers from inconsistency. While the mix-and-match approach works on "Belly Dancer," it can also result in the bland discontinuity of "Chords of Life," which at times sounds like "All Along the Watchtower" and at others resembles scale and chord exercises from Yngwie Malmsteen -- not an enticing combo. And "Starry Night," while a nice ballad, feels like an attempt to rewrite his masterful ballad "Always With You, Always With Me." ~ Michael Gowan, All Music Guide

In the DVD , Joe says (speaking about Stuart Hamm) : "They stoo (I don't know if it's the good way to write this word) him 'cause they love him !"
Can someone give me a synonym of this verb and explain the reaction of the audience ?
Thanks
