MESSAGE FOR GALEN HENSON
Hey man, I don't really want to talk to Joe. I just wanted to talk to Galen Henson. You see, we graduated (1985) from Monterey High School in Lubbock Texas. My name is Tony del-Busto. Galen, pull out the old year book. Anyway, I was just surfing the site because my wife and I will be attending the Aug 18 show in Houston (Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre) and I came across Galen's name as one of the crew/band. Let me just say that I can't believe it!. Way to go Galen!!! My email address is dbusto@earthlink.net if you want to chat. Take care and good luck!

Hello Joe and band!
Coming to Europe and not visting Belgium... the heart of Europe?... I hope this is a mistake... Eventhough I am aware of all budgettary stuff involved, I do hope that a stop in Belgium might be re-considered, because many Belgian fans won't have the opportunity to go to Paris or Amsterdam...
Looking forward to your new CD and whishing you a great time on tour!
Kind regards, Sven

JS Clone: I know what you mean about wanting to see the oldies, I love all of Joes stuff. I know they are not playing together, what I meant was it will take place on the same stage, same night, right after each other, to me that is a jam session. I'll still be so damn lit up from Dream Theater, I'll go absolutly nut's when Satch comes out. To see two of my favorite bands play in the same night.... unbelievable. I want to thank everyone for their feedback, that was really cool of you all.
Take Care Everyone,
Robert

Michelle: Thanks for the backup on DT, & LTE. I agree the DVD rocks. My fav's are probably the solo session with Petrucci, and The Spirit Carries On. I just love how Petrucci blends his solos with the music. Anyone who has not seen the Dream Theater DVD, it's awesome! Speaking of DVD's, anyone else enjoy the Steve Vai - Alien Love Secrets, or the Satriani - Live In San Francisco DVD's? Of sourse they are excellent. I can't wait until the get the re-mastered Eric Johnson DVD out. Cliffs Of Dover, and Trademark are great. Does anyone know if it's been re-released yet? It's late, I'll shut up now.....
Take Care Michelle, and all other fans.
Robert

great new site!
very slick & quick!
fo real - when i posted my "new album title suggestion" I didn't suggest "strange beaautiful music" because that's the title of joe's productioon company (I guess..???) - however - nice title, I think it's just what joe's all about; strange beautiful music. I really whish he'd come to gothenburg sweden soon or at least somewat nearby like copenhagen, denmark or stockholm, our capital. and that I'll be notified about that...
be good everyone

Record stores that stay open till midnight kick ass. They are always willing to sell the Tuesday's new releases. Just about every song kicks ass. Mind Storm is a masterpiece. So on to the tour.
If you can add a show in Boston, and 3 shows in Japan, then surely a show somewhere in the North Western USA is most certainly feasible. ADD A SHOW NEAR PORTLAND!!!.
In addition if you want the latest tour dates (and I mean the latest) go here http://www.pollstar.com/tour/searchall.pl?By=Artist&Content=satriani.
Psycho Monkey Joe is going to Japan on October 6th!!!

Dear Joe,
Im only 11 years old. I like almost all of your songs and i say almost because i dont know all of them. But still I personally think that your the King or Superman of rock and roll. I say this because all of the songs that i have yet heard mean something not like the other people who just right songs to get famous. But you on the other hand inspire lots of people including me and my dad. We are both Great fans of yours. A Lot of people say that I should like Brittney Spears and things like that because I am a Girl. But I preffer Joe Satriani Because of your inspiring music I have a group of friends at my old school that like you and everyone else thought that we were weird. But Now I am moving on to middle school and i know that there will be a lot more people that might not like the same music i do. For instance My Favorite song is Summer song and of course by you. My friends are the kind of people who like good music like heavy metal and i dont know if you've heard of it death metal. Well anyway Im planing on going to your concert in Concord on August 11th. Well actually my father and I are planing on going. Well Thank You Joe Satriani for being such a great artist and playing such great music. I know that you might not be able to do this but if you get the chance to prove to me that you have read this you canmaybe by a miracle e-mail me at Smiley_11_1@lycos.com
Please,
Your #1 Fan Deana

Tks Mike.
About the Tokyo show... that's cool, i hope I can attend, coz i have a biz trip to Korea planned around that date... fate is against me it seems... i'll be sure to check again every other day when the tickets are going on sale.
But I still wonder why satriani.com is THE LAST PLACE where all the tour dates appear. You would expect them to pop up here first !

Musical Mania - I think the guitar gallery is in the Archive Vault.
Saki - I think you're the youngest Joe Satriani fan here. That's really cool. I'm going to the 8/11 Concord show as well. It should be awesome.

JOE - I have just bought your new cd SBM. It's so great ... I'm so happy to have ears just for listeming to your music :). I love every kind of different sound you've got with your guitar. It's a great job. It's a master piece. I particulary like the sound of drums ... so clean that i'm thinking that Jeff is playing neat me ! I enjoy your solo from Belly Dancer a oriental kind of ...
I'm just disappointed that i haven't got the two bonus tracks... I'll hope that it could be imported from Japan to my country France.
Now, i'm waiting for seeing you at the Olympia the 8th of July in Paris.
GREAT JOB. BEAUTIFUL ALBUM !
You're as usual the BEST !
LOVE SBM !

Ibztone - Joe's mainly using the Dunlop CryBaby CB-535Q. I'm not sure about the Clyde Wah though.
Btw, I made a search on the http://www.guitar.com website, but couldn't find that Mike Manning interview. :-(

Well, listenned to Mind Storm, and am still very disappointed. It starts off sounding good, and then they put a piano/synthysizer in it??!? Sounds stupid, IMHO. I'm still a die hard fan, just really let down on the EOC and this one.
