Yayo, sounds like you have a wicked case of PMS! Welcome to OUR world, little man. LOL! j/k - settle down!
My advice is to take a walk and burn off some energy while listening to Megadeth (Sweating Bullets) or Godsmack (Whatever) on your headphones. If that don't work, crack open a nice bottle of something and drink yourself into.............oh, wait, you wanted GOOD advice. Um, I don't have any of that...nevermind :)
Carry on......

Hi Joe.Should'nt have heard new album but I will comment.A fantastic mature new sound. It's like surfing mixed with time machine.I would love to start a satch tribute band.Would you be bothered? Please play Belly Dancer and New Last Jam in Toronto.Any chance on a collaboration with neil Zaza in the future?(or maybe a guest appearance?)Any reason why you keep skipping Montreal Joe?Just curious,How about the Mighty Turtle Head live?Sorry,so many questions.Do you smoke weed ?

Hello everyone.
Joe, the modern-day Electric Guitar has evolved over the years, and has roots in instruments like the Classical (Spanish) guitar and of course, the steel stringed acoustics.
Do you imagine that the Electric Guitar could "evolve" more as years go by? Is it possible that more radical designs like increasing the number of frets on the guitar could occur?
I find the history of the development of the guitar fascinating.
Cheers!
Daniel

Firstly I'd like to congratulate you on your great new site.
Secondly, I am trying to get hold of a copy of "Additional Creations", it wasn't available when I got "Engines..." and have had no success in getting a copy. My problem , I think, lies in that I live in Adelaide, Australia, and maybe we never got any copies shipped over? Anyway, I'd appreciate some help in getting a copy. Anyone who can help me ...sing out.
PS: Looking forward to hearing the new CD and when are you coming back "down under"?
See Ya
Andrew

I feel your pain, Yogibell.
I just found out the other day that my guitar teacher walked down the aisle (as in marriage, not the supermarket) to "Sisters" by Vai. How cool is that? It started me thinking... Are there any Satch (Or Vai) songs that have become inseperable from certain events in your lives?
I'm sorry to say I don't have any in particular...
Is the bold working now?

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO JOE AND ALL THE DADDY'S EVERYWHERE!
Naty, sorry to hear about your canary.
Higain, when I hear Time, it takes me back to seeing Joe live. It was the opener for the show and I still find myself getting goosebumps when I hear the beginning of it.
I Believe reminds me of alot of things, but it always puts a smile on my face. I think of the guys in the tattoo shop singing the words "I Believe" along with the tape I gave them as I was getting tattooed. OMG, it was so funny! That still cracks me up!
There's a few more, but I have to go get my youngin's out of bed. They'd sleep all day if I'd let them! Wait, that doesn't sound like a bad idea...

Theory buffs - Does this scale have another, less complicated name - Phrygian Dominant #7? So it's a Phrygian Dominant scale with a sharpened seventh; 1, b2, 3, 4, 5, b6, 7. It's really cool coz the upper and lower tetrachords are the same, you have a three note chromaticism at the top, and from the third to the sixth is a little snippet of a half-whole diminished scale. It's the scale used in Misirlou, from the beginning of Pulp Fiction. Anyway, does it have a "proper" name?
PhrygianDominant - That's weird... Come to think of it, I haven't received any mail in a few days. I'll look into it...
July 18th rolls nearer...

Japanese Bonus Track!!!!!!
ARRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!
Thats sooooo unfair. Why do the Japanese always get bonus tracks, imports are waaaay to expensive and hard to find. Hard core fans end up buying 2 copies of the same album ( Hmmm thats probally why the scumbag record companys do it.)
