webmaster - Thanks for adding the underline and fixed-width text options. We can do just about everything now. :-)

alien32 - I'm actually wearing a white long sleeved shirt under a black Joe Satriani tshirt. Go here to see a picture of me with Joe after the 7/1/01 G3 show. I'm wearing the same shirt at the LISF gig, with the white shirt under it. As I think I mentioned before, I'm in just about every establishing shot taken by the camera on the robotic arm. Other than that, the easiest places to see me are:

1.) At the very end of Disc 1. The camera pans through the crowd after Summer Song. I reach up to wipe sweat off my face as the picture fades out.

2.) During the call and response section of Surfing With The Alien on Disc 2. I'm smiling / yelling / singing back to Joe's guitar...

3.) If you have good eyes, you can see me in line outside before the show, in the extra footage at the end of the DVD. I'm wearing the same clothes, as well as a NY Yankees hat.

hey folks, just thought i'd drop a quick report in since i was at the last day of rehearsals today and the boys are sounding fantastic! they warmed up playing a couple of old beatles tunes and then slammed through a select number of tunes one last time. john cuniberti even showed up and played along on drums to a tune :}

also, i've added the support for underlining and quoting in fixed-width font. the list of options is at the bottom of the page when you are posting a message.

this is all inside a [ quote ]

i plan on adding the ability to search for posts by authors and may also add something that provides a link to the most recent post by joe or the band so you can hop directly to it. i'll consider adding a timezone option to change what zone dates are displayed as and also think about how to store last-read messages by account instead of just a cookie. it's a bit complex to do both, so i might just require a member account to use that feature (since one is needed to post anyways).

also, a couple of folks have said something about the archive and submit button being on a white background? it should be a dark blue background so if not, please email me what browser you are using so i can try to see what it doesn't like.

i'll see about posting a few photos i took at rehearsal today to tide you over until it starts :} we're currently working on having an online listening party for the album, combined with a giveaway contest, so stay tuned for more news there!

webmaster - I said something about one of the buttons on the site...maybe you misunderstood me (If you weren't talking about my post, I'm sorry for repeating myself). The six buttons (Post Message, View New, Mark All Unread, etc.) show up fine with grey text on a blue background. I was talking about the drop down box below those buttons...the text there (1 hour, 2 hours,..., 6 months, etc.) shows up as grey text with white background. And then the "Go" button is a light grey box with a darker grey lettering. I think the text in both of these areas is supposed to be black. It's just a small thing, but I guess it's worth mentioning. If you're still confused I can email you a JPG screen capture so you can see what I'm talking about...

Also...the pictures sound pretty cool...thanks. And the online listening party sounds like an awesome idea. :-)

Thanks Jon! You are doing an awesome job! Thanks also for the tricks. I am becoming quite the computer nerd, or at least learning enough to fake it, lol .......... xrob - I actually asked Joe last year about "Big Bad Moon" being his "Closer To The Heart" (Rush). He said that he loves playing it and that the crowd loves it so he will continue to play it probably. ...but I like it! ............... Austin - Without a 4 hour limit to post, "Austin-peats" don't count, haha! ..................... Cool editing option.

I'm sure my opinion here doesn't matter, but I don't like this new format for "Talk to Joe". I prefer the older one, where you can just scroll up and down the page. That's just me though.

Joe, I am a Big fan from San Jose, CA. I have seen you 4 times in the past five years. Every time I hoped you would play Crushing Day. Can you play it on your upcoming tour? Or is there a reason I should already know, that you don't play that song? If so, someone tell me. That song kick's ass.

Yo Austin, see you @ 8/11!!!

So, you've got a Stu II, eh? I've been saving up for one, possibly a custom made 5-string (anyone know how to contact Todd Krause?), Is it super cool like only a Stu bass could be?

Joe, just letting you know I turned a bunch of people on to you who (unbelieveably) had never heard you. Needless to say they were blown away by you. They are all now going to see you on the tour now and went out and bought a bunch of your stuff (cd and dvd). Just wanted to say thanks for the great playing and keep it coming. See you in Denver! hey hey, i like the transparent table backgrounds, much MUCH nicer than the white ones...something else you could do is make the border thinner on the posts, they're kinda fat and ugly..or no border at all, i dunno how that'd look.. but anyways, looks nice, keep up the good work :)

and as for the author search stuff, you should make it "last post by _______" or something like that or where it says "# posts total under the authors name, have it clickable to display all their posts..just spittin out ideas, hope it helps or leads to something

Hi Joe, I am a major fan steming from the mid 80's and it came to me that you are one of the biggest Hendrix fans I know of, so I wanted to let you know of an amp I am selling. I bought it as a collectors item and it is completely unused. You may have one already or may not be interested in it but I need to find the right home for this beauty. It is a purple colored MK2 Marshall full stack. 1 of 100 made, very rare, all celestion 25 watt speakers and the amp is a reissue of what Jimmy used at some points of his career. The bottom cab is about a half a foot taller than the standard bottom cab of today. The head is 100 watt, with slanted cab and big bottom cab, when it is all stacked up, it is a monster. I have only tried it out the one time I bought it in the store and have not used it since. I am the original owner and have the receipts to prove it. Color scheme is as follows, Purple cloth, with the usual gold and white trim but with wicker styled grills. It is truly a replica of the classic amp and has no today technology in it, with exception of that it was made 8 years ago. I am sure you have seen one somewhere, cause you are the SATCH. If you are interested in a picture of this or know someone that would be interested in this peice, please let me know, I want to find the right home for it. I live near Seattle Wa. and tried to reach Paul Allen, but no response yet. My address is patricksweeney1@msn.com and feel free to reach me here or have someone do it if you can't your self. Oh, love the Frisco DVD by the way. Stay cool JOE, you are the king, thanks for all the great music. P.S. this Hendrix limited edition Marshall is only 1 of 100 produced by Marshall and anyone else that is serious about purchasing this beast, can also reach me here too, only serious buyers please. Thank you.
