PLUM LOCO Man that blows!!! Canadian SBM release date September. .... Ok so if I order the Jap release of SBM, will it be exactly the same as the North American release but with the bonus tracks? What will the difference be if I order the US release of SBM?? I NEED IT ASAP! I haven't heard a single thing yet!!!!!!!!!!

Guitar Art - Greg Howe is good but I say if you really want 3 guitarist to come together with something amazing on stage, PAUL GILBERT is the guy who'll live up to that.

Kirztal Planet - Ok so you like Dream Theater, but I would still rather see Joe play a 3 hour solo set. I want to hear all the classics broght back and 90 minutes won't be enough to cover all the old and new tunes many of us are waiting to hear. And you said you can't wait to see DT and Joe jam on stage. Are they actually playing together because as far as I know, they each get seperate 90 minute sets and one of them closes the show depending on what side of NA they are on. Hey, I like DT but not quite enough to see them live. Yes they're great musicians but it doesn't mean everyone HAS TO love the fact they're playing show with Joe. .............. As long as CRUSHING DAY and a few other classics such as MEMORIES and HORDES OF LOCUSTS are brought back, they can do whatever they want.

KriztalPlanet: Nice post. I like Liquid Tension Experiment better then DT, because I'm not too into the lyrics. I still like a lot of DT stuff, but I can't listen to it for that long...lol

Kriztal Planet, thanks for the info. I knew it was those Clear Channel bastards. The thing is, I don't go to enough concerts to throw down an extra $60 a year, nor can I afford it. Every show I've been to so far had no presale ca-ca attached to them, which would have been a total waste of that $60 bucks. This is the first time I've come across it, and it figures, it would be the best show ever.

If anybody would be kind enough on Monday morning to share the password for the Tweeter Center show, my email is shelg64@hotmail.com (that's IF the password can even be shared by a non-member)

JS Clone 1, did you see the G3 show with Petrucci & Portnoy? That was only 2/5 of the band! When you have them all together it's awesome! We seen DT for the first time back in March and they put on a KILLER show. The crowd was amazing ~ literally hanging from the rafters! I understand wanting to see Joe for the full show (who wouldn't), but this is like having Captain Morgan with that lonely bottle of gingerale :) lol! or for you youngin's, iceing on the cake.

You don't "have to" love the fact that their playing together, nobody does, but hopefully you'll change your tune after you see them play.

the Dance of Eternity anyone?

must....watch....dvd.........

KriztalPLanet ___ I agree on some points, but in my opinion, John Petrucci can't solo worth crap. Thats the only thing that was dissapointing at the G3 Jam, Joe and Steve just SMOKED John Petrucci when it came to the solos. This my opinion, anyone else agree?

Michelle - Funny you should mention The Dance of Eternity. That's my fave DT/LTE song i've heard yet. Yes I did see G3 2001 and I thought John's solos did not fit the music at all. He still did the same speed picking shred licks for the ZZ Top cover and Hendrix. DID NOT fit at all. Now Joe and Steve made their solos work. Although still fast and at times did get pretty crazy, they meshed very well. John's great but his style only fits his music.

Musical Mania/Local Person - Yeah John did not fit at all. Read the above portion of my post.

Hey Ya Yo! I'll have to agree with ya... not too many people can stay in the same level of Satch & Vai... Though I truely think Rik Emmett of Triumph is an amazingly gifted guitar player... To play guitar at the level that he plays and sing "well" at the same time is an amazing gift! Another guitar player of worthy note of this same gift, another Canadian Guitar player from the band Big Wreck is Ian Thornley! Amazing singer...an even better guitar player!

Hi Joe!!! Add Grand Rapids, MI to your tour dates!!!!!!! I'm going to try my best to make it to Detroit when you come around, but you usually play the Orbit Room on your tours in Grand Rapids. Oh well, adios!!

Ya Yo - Very Well Said. .... Plum Loco/Ya Yo - Yeah Rik Emmit Is definately up there. Have you heard his classical pieces? Ouch. I would say Paul Gilbert is up there too. I would say one of the only shredders who actually did shred right. It just sounds so damn right when he plays it. Also a very gifted musician. ....................... CHECK THIS OUT http://www.tomleemusic.com/AV/event/p_gilbert/pg6_cable.rm You'll be suprised. I guarantee it.
