Joe, please tell me that Portland is not out of the question yet. We didn't get to see G3 in the Rose City either, so I hope it is still in the works for August. Take care I and can't wait to get the album tomorrow. TheFireman

gruskada - The clips were probably taken directly from the CD. Real Audio and Windows Media files are compressed so much...that's probably why it sounds so different to you.
netmangler - The Boston show IS on the list.
alien32 - Yeah, there was a lot of posting today. I imagine it'll be very busy throughout this week, as newbies see "www.satriani.com" listed in the liner notes of the new CD. Speaking of that...everyone...be nice to the new people this week...haha. It would be great to have a few new Satch fans here.
GuitarArt - The webmaster has a program that randomly selects the aftershow pass winners 3 days before the show.
...Austin...

Musical_Mania : I agree, I suggested this to the webmaster a week ago and it seems he hasn't found the time to reply yet. let's wait and see, maybe he is already working on it.
btw, anyone else noticed how "You saved my life" has the same feel as "Home" ?

Does anyone know what joe's setup is for engines of creation (specifically for the song engines of creation?) also his setup for Chrushing days - i never hear him play that song anymore....
btw i think i'm going to purchess a js-2000 (crome) guitar soon - my EVH wolfgang is not that much of a strummy guitar, i'm lookin for sometin a bit more strummy, with equal or better tone.

It's great to have a new album out... and it is mindblowing to have the chance to listen the whole album during the streaming party. It is refreshing to have an artist embracing this kind of medium to let people enjoy your music. I only have one request, and that would be for you to come back to Omaha, Ne again!

Hey Joe, Don't you know that we love your strange beautiful music up here in the Northwest too? How come you don't have a show scheduled in Portland? If there's no local venue available you can always play at my house.

Gizumo : I'd be curious where you got the idea that there will be a concert in Tokyo ... Haven't seen even a hint of a date in Asia/Oceania... but hey, the dates of the tour don't appear here first (how curious) so let's hope for the best...

MESSAGE FOR GALEN HENSON
Hey man, I don't really want to talk to Joe. I just wanted to talk to Galen Henson. You see, we graduated (1985) from Monterey High School in Lubbock Texas. My name is Tony del-Busto. Galen, pull out the old year book. Anyway, I was just surfing the site because my wife and I will be attending the Aug 18 show in Houston (Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre) and I came across Galen's name as one of the crew/band. Let me just say that I can't believe it!. Way to go Galen!!! My email address is dbusto@earthlink.net if you want to chat. Take care and good luck!

Hello Joe and band!
Coming to Europe and not visting Belgium... the heart of Europe?... I hope this is a mistake... Eventhough I am aware of all budgettary stuff involved, I do hope that a stop in Belgium might be re-considered, because many Belgian fans won't have the opportunity to go to Paris or Amsterdam...
Looking forward to your new CD and whishing you a great time on tour!
Kind regards, Sven

JS Clone: I know what you mean about wanting to see the oldies, I love all of Joes stuff. I know they are not playing together, what I meant was it will take place on the same stage, same night, right after each other, to me that is a jam session. I'll still be so damn lit up from Dream Theater, I'll go absolutly nut's when Satch comes out. To see two of my favorite bands play in the same night.... unbelievable. I want to thank everyone for their feedback, that was really cool of you all.
Take Care Everyone,
Robert

Michelle: Thanks for the backup on DT, & LTE. I agree the DVD rocks. My fav's are probably the solo session with Petrucci, and The Spirit Carries On. I just love how Petrucci blends his solos with the music. Anyone who has not seen the Dream Theater DVD, it's awesome! Speaking of DVD's, anyone else enjoy the Steve Vai - Alien Love Secrets, or the Satriani - Live In San Francisco DVD's? Of sourse they are excellent. I can't wait until the get the re-mastered Eric Johnson DVD out. Cliffs Of Dover, and Trademark are great. Does anyone know if it's been re-released yet? It's late, I'll shut up now.....
Take Care Michelle, and all other fans.
Robert

great new site!
very slick & quick!
fo real - when i posted my "new album title suggestion" I didn't suggest "strange beaautiful music" because that's the title of joe's productioon company (I guess..???) - however - nice title, I think it's just what joe's all about; strange beautiful music. I really whish he'd come to gothenburg sweden soon or at least somewat nearby like copenhagen, denmark or stockholm, our capital. and that I'll be notified about that...
be good everyone
