I just read On TicketMaster that the presale for DT and Joe for the Venue I am hitting will be on Monday, what I'm wondering though is how do you know where to go to get the presale code. It doesn't say on the TM page...it leaves you hanging? What good is a presale without a code. I know that the codes are usually easy....something like DT or THEATER, but if you don't figure it out and guess for a half and hour, you lose your chances at the Primo seats... So if anybody has the Cleveland Info, please give me a hollar..... Thanks

Clarky - Sounds cool. My exams have finished now, so I can come up again whenever, if that's okay. I bought a Morley Bad Horsie today. It's wicked; you said "A wah-wah is an extremely expressive tool." Too true, and it makes it much easier if the thing just turns on the minute you step on it! Stay tuned for some new tunes on my IUMA, one of which incorporates the Mixolydian b6 scale - very cool.

ANYONE WANT TO BUY A WAH-WAH PEDAL?

L8rz, Neil.

Hi,

now after few hours listening to the new album, here's my verdict! It's Modern Satch, no not like the last album, it's Modern Rock. still the melodic satriani sound can be heard on each song. few songs stands out, "Oriental Melody","Chords of Life" & "Starry Night", basically the first 5, "Mind storm" is very cool riff, but some wacky stuff near the 3rd phase. the last song "You Saved My Life" is a beauty, very special, I'd say most fans will be trying to lean how to play it. one song (title I forgot) sounds as if it was a classic 50's song, but instrumental. well, in total a great album, but Crystal Planet still No.1 for me. webmaster....... I read on the dream theater site that there is only one new date left to be confirmed for the U.S., and the date will be either 9/4 or 9/5, they are not sure yet. My question isn't what day.... It is, if it is going to be an Ohio date? Not that I still won't go to the Cleveland show, but that would be cool if it's in Columbus, or Cincy ........... Thanks......................Joe Rules

GUITARDED BOY: I BOUGHT TICKETS ON PRESALE FOR HOUSTON TUESDAY. YOU HAVE TO BE MEMBER OF ALLACCESS.CC TO DO THE PRESALE. WHEN YOU ARE ON TICKETMASTER, AND YOU WAIT TILL WHATEVER THE TIME IS, ALL THAT WILL POP IS THAT YOU HAVE TO BE A ALLACCESS MEMBER, AND IT GIVES YOU A LINK TO SIGN UP. IT COSTS 60 A YEAR TO SIGN UP. I DID IT CAUSE I GO TO QUITE A FEW CONCERTS. I BOUGHT 5 TICKETS, AND THEY WERE ROW L ON THE FLOOR, WHICH IS PRETTY DAMN CLOSE. TICKETS FOR THE HOUSTON SHOW ARE GOING FAST MAN, I WAS SHOCKED. I WENT TO G3 LAST YEAR, AND I GOT LIKE ROW G I THINK. JUST WANTED TO LET YOU, AND ALL OTHER SATCH FANS KNOW.

Kriztal Planet, Thanks for the info. If you are right, that bites! There is no way I'm gonna pay 60 bucks extra to still get seats in the 20th row......screw that. I'll just try the Old Fashioned way through Ticket Ba$turd, on the regular day. I want to see Joe bad, but I don't wanna pay twice for one concert............ On a lighter note here is a link to his Epic records site http://www.epicrecords.com/joesatriani/

WOW DUDES!!! Nice new look on the site!!! Very cool! Just in time for the new album to come out, which guaranteed I will be picking up on the day of it's release as usual! Did anybody ever notice that Joe's albums always seem to come out on a Tuesday! HA HA! :) I say we make it an official holiday like Thanksgiving! :) Anyway, Can hardly wait to hear the new stuff Joe cooked up. I know I've been a complete stranger these past few forevers, I totally apologize for that. It's just that I have a new job now, and between the working at night and recording for my upcoming album and supporting and doing work for my brother Matt's band Gorman Prophecy, i haven't had much "Time" or a social life to speak of these days. New music will FINALLY be making it's way to my own site at http://www.mp3.com/ProgX by Mid-July, I'm putting the final touches on a ten-minute cinematic piece called "Fly To New Planetary Systems". Also, check out my brother's band at http://www.gormanprophecy.com who just tore the roof off last night at Thunder Dome's weekly Battle Of The Bands! :) They are NO JOKE! Don't know if I'm going to make the show due to my goofy new work schedule, but I'm going to try and see what I can do. Sorry for being such a hermit, I'll try to visit the board more often when I get a little bit of Internet free play time! :) In the meantime, everybody take care of yourselves, and...Kudos! --- Prog X ---

jofdm - They're yelling "Stu", not "boo"...hence my user name. ;-)

guitarded boy - I think a chat like that would be insane. The best way to do it would be for everyone to email questions to one person, and have that person sort through them and pick the best 15 or 20. Then email Joe and he can answer them that way. Of course Joe's going out on tour now so there's no way it can happen. Also...about ticket presales... It's Ticketmaster policy that during presales, only 1/2 of the seats are available. So for presales they'll do something like only sell the left side of the venue, or only the even numbered rows...etc. So it's still possible to get a close seat on the regular day.

IbaNick - Well...it still is Stu, and not boo...even if Stu Hamm isn't in Joe's band anymore. I'm going to change my user name once the new album comes out and I think of a cool name...

Mr. Nick - The UK release date is Monday, June 24.

PhrygianDominant - Yeah, we should've won...we had a million opportunities but we couldn't score on any of them. Bah!

...Austin...

Stu not boo, I agree with what you said about the sending the questions to somebody to sort and get the best ones. But I think it would also be cool if there was a live chat with him at a given time, maybe once every 6 months or something, and the only way you would know if he was going to be in the chat is if we went into a drawing, and the winners would get E-mailed with the time to drop in and chat with Joe......., and who knows maybe they will give the guitarded guy that came up with the idea, a guitar lesson with Joe (hey, it was worth a try) LOL...........Joe Rules

The new site is perfect. I enjoy it and you know I'm student in informatic in France, so i have seen a lot of site and no one is as this one. I mean, it's cool, all photos are beautiful, and i enjoy your beta chat in Java. The next thing i'm gonna write is that I can't wait for the 25 of June ... And for the 8th of July when Joe will be in Olympia in Paris...
