Jayjo - Heh. For Massey Hall, we just phoned in the very second the tickets go on sale to the public. The reason we always got second row was because the 1st row is usually reserved for "friends of Massey Hall". People who donate money to Massey Hall or Roy Thompson Hall.

For The Amphitheater we actually phoned in a little late even but we still got the seats we wanted.

I guess it's all just luck really. That or JS Clone 2 is magical. He's the one who does the ordering.

Jblaze 1 - Haha I hear ya.

Joe - I have an mp3 of you playing Crushing Day. I'm not sure of the exact date but at the very beggining you say, "this one's off the new record. It's called Crushing Day."

You do this really cool little blues riff right in the middle of solo just before you come in with the sweeps. If you like, I can email it to the webmaster. It was a great performance.

Richard Haier - That mp3 is from 1988 and recorded in San Jose, California and I think Joe would already have it. "It was a great performance" - I agree.

Just wanted to day Thanks for SBM. My 5 yr old is a big fan also. He is happy to have the new album (ooops showing my age) (disc) to be played after his nighttime book reading to wisk him off to dream land. Also thanks for Rosemont,IL in july because now he can go. I saw you at the Riv in Chicago and you can't take a 5 yr old there. He has been a fan since he was 4 and for Christmas we bought him a Fender Sprite and mini Marshall and when we put in the SF DVD we have to hook him up. He has fun !

Thanks again Joe Good Touring...

Why is it that bonus tracks are always included on the import cd's (japan release) and not on the US releases? I'm confused!

Wow...JOE! Strange Beautiful Music is blowing me away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just picked up my special ordered copy yesterday...what an album...I immediately called 94 rock...the local radio station and request that they play it....especially belly dancer..that song kicks mad butt...It took me about two hours to get through, but when i did the guy said that they are working on getting that label or something...so I did my part!!!! I am going to tell everyone to buy this album...........I hope you can hook me up with a backstage pass or two!!! I am your number one fan in Albuquerque!!!!! I see you did some pretty cool "in and out" sustains in the beginning and end of sleep walk....was that partly because of my suggestion i posted? Peace.

Joe, I just wanted to say thanks for the mastery of Crushing Day. My 5 year old cousin loves it when I practice and play that song (yes, you guys, the whole thing, and I've only been playing a year.) He especially loves the chorus and the part in the solo where you sweep and pull off on the top three strings. He thinks it's so cool, and I'm glad he appreciates this kind of music. I'm gonna teach him to be the next music star. Thanks again joe.

Hi Joe! It is really not common for me II am 44/ that I can admire somebody like You!!! Of course the 25 th of June was the day I bought your new record- and listen to this fantastic music 5 times a day. It is like old wine- if you taste it more it is better and better. SPECIALLY THE 8 ONE AND THE FIRST ONE. tHE 8 TH one - it is very close to my soul- I climb, fly on the paraglider and of course try to play a guitar. It inspires me to make an amateur move using this music.Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course all the time I count the days to your concert in Warsaw 12 th of June. May be one day you read my letter- is it possible to get "the bone for playing" from You? Take care! Robka POLAND WARSAW I love your music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday KEV B........AL SURFER, its nice to be able to block out gridlock traffic with some great music...I grew up in Boston and I used to be the king of "road rage"....then one day my drummer had a solution for me. He handed me a cassette of Flying in a blue dream and said that "this will calm me down while I'm driving"...lol....the rest is history...needless to say, it worked very well and I'm a changed man....have a good one everybody!!! people , lets see if anyone agrees with me here : i think that this album (SBM) , combined the Musical intensity of " Time Machine" , with the beautiful melodies of "Joe Satriani: cool #9" , and the amazing sound mixing and effects of " Crystal Planet " . anybody with me here ? this is just my opinion , remember that , nobody attack me here. i am spartucus , no i am spartucus , man i have issues .

jblaze: I agree.(I think the lack of humour is a giveaway!) Can you think of one other place on the whole web where we can express our views in the way we can here? Webmaster: you've done an amazing job with this site. This new layout seems to have had a psychological effect of giving people their own space to express their views, and of containing the more dominant, volatile characters. Anyone agree?
