Hey Jon- I just came up with another good idea for the new site. On the T2J forum, maybe we could have the ability, within our personal profile, to block the messages of certain T2Jers whose obnoxious ramblings we'd rather not read. Just a thought... *nudge nudge* *wink wink*

hey fellow satch fans, an update on my SBM situation...
I rode my bike to Best Buy yesterday morning (after the guy said it'll be there in another shipment) and it wasn't there. I felt like beating the guy up. I was so PO'd.
When I got home I called the Orange Park Mall (to be directed to Sam Goody. I said, "Do you guys have the new Joe Satriani CD?" She said, "Who?" (only the fiftieth time I'd got that.) "Oh yeah, we have it. we got it yesterday." Suddenly, Handel's Hallelujah chorus rose in my head. HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! and so on.
So anyway, I told my mom and after my orthodontist appointment. (OUCH!) I will get my SBM FINALLY!

Webmaster: Keep up the good work with the site man, although some people don't show it, we all apreciate the great job, and the new look you've given us. I can't belive how people can get so uptight and rude. The listening party was great, inspired me to order the CD!! Must be been difficult to set up, so again thanks for that. It ran beautifully, even on my 56k!!

Mr. Joe,
I was wondering when or if you have any plans to make an all Acoustic release. I love the sounds of my powered axe, but I can't substitute the natural sounds of my acoustic. Your acoustic sounds so solid, I have to ask, what do you have done with the necks. What string do you recommend, or prefer? I'm still learning, but someday, someday...

Plum Loco - Thanks for the website. The cd costs $7 more but you really save on shipping from amazon.ca instead of .com.
Wiser1 - Really, why would you rag on the listening party? It was a great idea from what I heard. If they aren't just 14 pure tracks playing rfont to back... wouldn't that kinda be like buying the cd?

Hey there...I ordered SBM from the internet lasst night, but the bonus tracks weren't listed in the contents. Are there 2 versions of the CD? or did they just not bother with the bonus tracks?

well presale tickets are onsale now for atlanta and I found out the deal...cce or clear channel entertainment which is a mega corp that owns 4 radio stations in our market has a club called get accesss which you can join for the price of $60 a year and get into the presales it sponsers...so Joe has sold out to the big media companies after all?...the sad part about it is out of the 4 stations in atlanta only 1 is sponsering this show and they have no info at all about it on air or online..they will only play 1 song by joe because "satriani has a small fan base and all new songs have to go through a market test before they are allowed on the air...to weed out the "scary songs" so this mega media company that will only play allways with you, allways with me is selling presale tickets after you fork over $60 to join "get access" I wonder if Joe knows what his people have done to the fans of atlanta..or if he is just counting the extra money this deal made him.....

I got my CD at the record store,same thing just tracks 1 thru 14. I don't get it either. No mention of a bonus CD or anything. Joe whats up with that?

wiser1: Do you know how business works in this age...Have you ever stepped outside your house and taken a look round. The fact is, Joe probably has nothing to do with any of these companies. Any presales made will be under the responsibility of the company that are supporting the event. Another thing, any chance of taking that sarcastic edge of your voice? A lot of work goes into things like, this website, and live performances, but you seem to miss all this while worrying about much smaller issues. Please don't use the community to slander members of Joe's team, or any other members of the site.

oh cce owns the venue "the tabernacle" I wish he would have played the Fox theater , much more room, nicer theater, better acoustics and ventalation....but oh well then we wouldnt be getting raped for presale tickets which nobody had a clue about...my only hope is that it is so obscurely advertised that nobody will buy any during the presale....webmaster if you get a backdoor url for this presale please post it...i will be checking back

Hey Joe, how do you get that really thick distorted sound for the solo guitar on Oriental Melody? Pro tools or something? Great sound.
Overall the new CD is great. I'll admit some of the songs need breaking in, but thats ok. Joe likes to try new sounds and song styles, and thats a very good thing.
Starry Night is a nice happy, light hearted song. Chords of Life has a mysterious and cool kinda sound, nice to hear the acoustic guitar for a change. Mind Storm is doutless my fav song on the CD. Keep up the great work Joe.

cmon people you act like i farted in church or used the yngwie word...Im just bitching about the lack of information / incorrect information about the atlanta presale. I just found out it will be a general admission show so it Dont really matter... so good news atlanta fans you dont have to spend an extra $60 to get good seats...after I found out the venue is owned by the mega-corp i realized Joe's people had nothing to do with it, probably...so excuse me for thinking that a rock star might be getting rich at the fans expense.....that never happens, right?...oh and BOO HOO to all the people that think im being too hard on the webmaster by telling him his site is still slow..i dont care how much improvements hes made with it, right now its still slow. The merchandise link never worked for the 2 years I have been here, the pictures sent in over a year ago to be posted never were...so by mentioning it im the bad guy?...I'm sure he will eventually fix it and am glad to have his site as a resource...dang you guys act like im dissin your momma...

lIFE SUCKS SOMTIMES..so last night i go to listen to SBM
for the 5th time, and i put in the cd not realizing there is already a cd in the player, I start the cd and theres this
horrable noise, i take it out and scream, now there are
multiple skips through the traveler and the last tract,
dam i hate when stuff like that happens........
still can't pick a fav, New Last Jam, and Mountain Song
are in a tie for first at the moment.......
