Finster, get over it man. What decade do you live in? There aren't many shows at Molson Amphitheater that will cost you under $50. I got section 102 row M for about $55 and it will be worth every penny. I also paid $96 (cdn) for tix for the Pompano Beach show. No worries about the cd. HMV has it listed as September 9th, but it is actually July 9th.

disassociative 1 - Yes it will be near the main entrance - I got 20+ Engines of Creation posters from guy on merchandise stand in 2000 some still have sellotape on from display. Joe said in a interview while back that London is one of his favourite places to play. SBE is a great venue.

three epic pieces on my mind to talk about.....
The Journey - wow. that intro is so kick-ass.
What breaks a heart- fantastic all the way through, particularly the pull-off open string bit.
Hill Groove- does this remind anyone else of motown?

Liquid Guitar - There's a webcast where Joe says just that. The song is not too hard to play... it just sucks for them to play live.
My God...
I have been listening to SWTA a lot lately... i'm in love with this music and album more than ever. I can't believe how well put together the Crushing Day solo is. Not even regarding the speed or ferocity of the licks but how well the solo follows and leads the song. I absolutely love it. No love like it.

Hey Joe, the new stuff sounds nice, especially "The Journey" - it had a nice "Ten Years Gone" vibe on that one riff, I'm sure you know the one. That concert bill is like a dream come true for me, as I've been a big fan of all three acts since I can remember. I sure hope you guys swing through the northwest (namely, PORTLAND OR). Indeed, that gig is the mother of all gigs, a gig of the ages if you will. PLEASE convince those yankees in Dream Theater that we are thirsty for rock that runneth over in talent over here. If not, I'm confident that you will stop by as you always do and throw down the jams. Looking forward to it - mf

Hey again....The webcast is excellent...and to hear Joe introduce each track with his feelings is superb!!
I think it's understandable why Joe gets bored in Crushing day...It's an amazing song...but as far as Joe's skill, it's not his most technical!!
The Journey and Belly Dance on SBM sound incredible....Oh yeah, one more thing...in the discography, the CD called 'Additional creations' doesn't Joe look a bit like JK on that cover?? uncanny :)
...anyway...see you all later, Stu

There is a new Joe Satriani album... released today... I haven't heard a single track... and the album's not released in Canada... until ... September.
Must....order....
Will I be better off getting the Japanese version or stick to North American. amazone.com has it for 13.99 plus tax and shipping to Canada.
Then there's the Jap version which I have no clue how to order.
This is really painful...

JS Clone 1, Finster and all others from Toronto, we should do a road trip to Buffalo to get the new cd right away.
If you want a good place to buy the Japanese version of SMB, check out www.cdjapan.co.jp

Hey Gang! I just posted a couple new mp3's to my website if anyone is interested. One is a cover of "Raspberry Jam" I did about a year ago when I figured out how to use my GT-3's whammy function. It was my first time trying to play it all the way through, so....go easy on me. The other track is an ACID backing track I'm calling "Sounds like Boston" because...well, it sounds like Boston. I haven't figured out anything to play over it yet. Anyway, lemme know what you think. Compliments and constructive criticism are both welcome. Today is the DAY!!! Going to pick up two copies of Joe's new disc today! Can't wait for the Grand Prairie show! **Peace** KenC. http://kencampbell.iuma.com
