That Solo in Chords of life is Freaken so cool....New last Jam, God I love that song...Mountain song reminds me of a song that should have been on the Extremist album, a Great song , That travleler is Bueatiful......Joe is the most talented Songwriter in the history of the world........JOE for god,...Oh ya, He already is.... Oh ya, one more thing, Am I weird for not thinking Crushing day is amazing? I've always liked the song Just not as much as everybidy else....also, my sticker came off in one piece to, without leaving a sticky residue ,( the first time ever), why can't they put those things on the plastic wrapper instead of the cd cover itself?... im rambing now.........later

Dear Joe:

You're killing me! Why is it the Milwaukee show was advertised early on in the Chicago newspapers and yet there's still no advertising in the papers or on the radio for the Rosemont show? I could have got shut out if I hadn't been surfing Ticketmaster.com the day they went on sale (as it was I was 5 hours late buying tix).

Look forward to finally seeing you live....

Regards, Yngwee.

XCrystalPlanetX Thanx man, i'll try that, but I'm gonna go check some of my internet sources to try and remember what chorus Joe uses. Crystal Planet Rules!!! SBM RULES!!!!!!!! They all RULE!!!!! Go Joe!, You RULE!!!!!!!

Hey, i have the same problem with getting the tickets to the detroit show, don't feel bad. I probably won't go (as much as I'd love to) because I live in Grand Rapids.

Hey Joe, you usually come to Grand Rapids, MI and play the Orbit Room. What's up this time?? We all love you here!!! MASSIVE GRAND RAPIDS SATCH FOLLOWING WANTS TO SEE YOU, BUT NOT IN DETROIT!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!

Austin - I like the "StrangeBeautifulStoooer" idea, very cool.

I remembered Joe talking about how he prefers the Chandler Digital Delay unit in a Guitar One interview with Steve Vai about a year or so ago. I decided to look at that particular unit today, as I've been shopping around for a new reverb/delay setup. I was surprised to find that it's a rack unit -- I thought Joe was anti-rackmount units...and the price, well...haha the price made me double take. Let's just say the Chandler Digital Delay won't be in my rig anytime in the forseeable future. Anybody else have any suggestions for a good reverb/delay (either seperate pedals or both put together) pedal, with a really nice, lush sound (but not that hokey digital sound)?

GUITAR ART....I read somewhere that Joe uses a Boss Super Chorus. PSUKCAT....I use a Boss DD-5 Delay to get my "hokey" digital sound. Actually, if its set right, it sounds pretty damn good. If you're a poor boy like me, that is as good as it gets, I dont have two or three grand to drop on an expensive rackmount unit. I know Joe mentioned once that he used a Boss DD-2, which is cool because he still uses individual pedals instead of giant towering rack units.

Sharon: where are you? Did you read my advice about faster downloading?

JOE: Hope you'll have a pleasant tour across Europe. Please, make a video for all whom won't see yor gigs! Take care! Baci!

I have recently (past 2 weeks) been very closely listening to Joe's music more than ever.

I picked up on 2 small yet effective things... well 2 that I remember from that time:

#1 Lords of Karma. Listen to the hi-hat carefully.

#2 Tears in the Rain. A very subtle effect on the guitar. Once you hear it, it's quite eerie.

Too busy to check up on your fans. I see how it is. Flavor Crystal 7 is the second best song on the album. Mind storm is the second best song on this album. BELLY DANCER, BELLY DANCER, BELLY DANCER. 2008 posts and only a couple weeks. that's amazin'. Your fingers have got to cramp up on the seven string solo. so fast for so long. that's all for now. lata.

drafter37- i agree. bowling, tennis and baseball. congrats on #2000. man i need a life.

Hi there. I'm just wondering if you'll be coming to perform in Vancouver, British Columbia? I've been wanting to come to one of your concerts but you seem to be just beyond my reach.

Thanks

alien32 / PSUKAT13 - Those are cool nickname ideas, but they're all too long...hehe. Oh well.

drafter37 - I'm not a huge soccer fan, but I think the World Cup is a lot of fun to watch. It's much better than MLS.

Discostew - Cool nickname. :-)

It's quiet here tonight. Here's the next part of my SBM review...

Chords Of Life - I think this is my favorite song on the album. It's great to hear some acoustic stuff from Joe. I'd love to eventually hear a whole acoustic album, but this is cool for now. I like how it builds up and then slows back down througout. Light and shade, in a sense...kinda like the whole Led Zeppelin thing. My favorite part is, of course, the entire solo from 1:17-2:05. ;-) I know this will be the one spot on the CD that will ALWAYS get turned up louder.

Does anyone else have comments about this song?

...Austin...

Austin Ya...When that solo kicks in and my strereos cranked, You cant help but just grin, that song is remarkable, I love all the different elements, Those accustic bar chords, and that harp is cool too, its kind of like a reverse song, starts out fast and slows down..kind of like Attack from E.O.C., a really fast song with a slow solo in the middle... ...Only joe.............
