Joe, First time I've posted. Been a fan for about four years after I heard "Ceremony" on a local radio station. Have everything you've produced. All of it's fantastic. Love "Strange and Beautiful Music." Just retired after 30 years in the Army. Wanted you to know you've got fans from all walks of life and all ages. Hope to see your show the next time you're in the Heartland. Keep it going.

Sharon Osbourne, the take-no-prisoners matriarch who effortlessly deals with her rebellious kids and a zoned-out husband on MTV's The Osbournes, is in for her toughest challenge yet: cancer. Sharon, the wife and manager of metal pioneer-turned TV dad Ozzy Osbourne, will undergo an operation today for "a treatable form of cancer," the couple's publicist, Lisa Vega, has announced.

Vega would not reveal what kind of cancer Osbourne is battling, but the publicist says, "[Sharon] is expected to make a full recovery.

"She has the loving support of her husband and three children who are by her side at this time," Vega says.

The Osbournes celebrate their 20-year wedding anniversary on Thursday.

Meantime, MTV released a statement saying, "We know Sharon will conquer this with the same tenacity and vibrancy she approaches everything else in her life. Our thoughts are with Sharon and the entire Osbourne family and we send her our love and support for a complete recovery."

As a result of the surgery, the Osbournes are postpoing the first two dates of the rocker's Ozzfest 2002 tour--Saturday's show in Bristow, Virginia, and Sunday's stop in Pittsburgh. Both will be rescheduled, says Vega.

Let's all send some good vibes to the Osbournes...

PROG, Going to MD for vacation in a week. I ree-hee-healy hope this heatwave breaks till then. Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 96. ugh!

I'll be in Camden this year...in the PIT!! woohoo!

JBLAZE, cool thing your doing for your roommate! He should love it! If not, kick him out! lol! For the Jersey show, two tickets online at TM were $114 & change. I think Yayo wins the prize for most expensive tickets. What he's paying is insane!

Your going to have a great time just feeling the vibes from the Satch & DT fans. I get goosebumps just thinking about it ~ and your right ~ Satch shows aren't like other shows :)

Michelle:Have fun in Baltimore:)The fans are great too,not like New York or LA.....Harold Baines used to come in to the restaurant I cooked at.That's how I got the nickname Blaze by the way...make sense now?.He is a local of the Eastern Shore of Maryland & he plays for Baltimore if you didn't already know that...Camden Yards is close to the water so there may be a nice breeze to cool you down.Go to Ocean City Md...It's only 2 & a half hours from Baltimore. That will cool you off:)The Hard Rock Cafe is practically next door to Camden Yards. That's a cool place too but no Guitars on the wall with Joe's Autograph...believe me I looked..Maybe you can take care of that..lol..:(ESPN Zone Bar & Grill is next to that....There is also a cool submarine you can go on.All in the same section of the harbor...Anyway,I could go on all nite but I'll spare you..lol..I just wanted to point some things out. Enjoy your vacation:)L8er...jblaze

Hey everyone, I was watching "The Screen Savers" on Tech TV and they said that they had Satch on yesterday. I was wondering if anyone caught that episode. Hopefully they'll re-run the episode.

Joe, I will see you at Ruth Eckerd Hall on August 21st. I can't wait.

Later

Hey Joe! Awesome new CD! I still can't get over how incredible Oriental Melody is! Anyways, I just have to say how disappointed I am that you are playing Austin, TX, the very same night Rush is playing just down the way in Selma! I got those tickets almost 2 months ago and now I can't make it to see you and Dream Theater. If it wasn't the fact that I live 4 hours away from Houston, I would go to the Sunday show. Oh well, that's life. KEEP ROCKIN, MY FRIEND!
