Invigor - The human hearing range is 20hz - 22,000hz.
But never the less, other people have heard it. Seriously. You need to really listen careful. It's no obvious thing. It sounds quite mysterious which is why I bothered bringing it up.

Only one classical piece up right now.

When I record from cassette to line in on sound card, I lose some quality. All the notes are there though, so let me know what you thought.

Hey everyone, Thanx for the info in Fripp. I'm so fascinated about the sounds he gets (especially on Sleep Walk). From what I've read it seems hes doing all these cool sounds in real time and not via a Pro Tools plug-in or something after the guitar track is recorded. What kind of effects does he use to get those great sounds on Sleep Walk? Later, Mike

I just wanted to log on and tell Joe that the new CD is Outstanding! MindStorm, Traveller, Belly Dancer, ping pong delays, and Frippertronic Guitar tones rule. Also, thanks for doing a cover. I like it when established artists do occasional covers. I'd really like to hear you do an album of covers, something that reflected all of your influences. Like a ZZTop cover, a classical cover, mebbe a Pat Martino cover, etc. Bottom line is, if you did decide to do something like that, people will buy it. You could write 70 minutes of boogies on a kazoo(or Gregorian monks chanting Percy Sledge tunes) and the folks on T2J would all buy a copy. Of course there's only so much time in a day. Anyhoo, I hope all my fellow USAers had a happy 4th, and I'll see yall (Joe and fans) at Ruth Eckerd Hall 8/21.

Part 9...
What Breaks A Heart - This song is very catchy. After I listen to the whole album, parts of this song keep coming back into my head. My favorite part is from 1:05-1:21, but I like the part immediately following it just as much.
Any comments? Just a few more songs to go...

Paul Huxley - Er, I don't really have any "brilliance" to show you, but I like to think I'm pretty good so hopefully there are some things I can show you...
JSC1 - You got SBM yet? I bet you're pacing round the house smashing things up at the moment... lol. Went to your IUMA. My computer hates downloading so I streamed the piece, which meant I got loads of gaps in for all that "buffering" BS, but I think I got the basic idea - pretty damn cool! Give us more... Also, I think you should make the Biography a bit longer, give us some more information about yourself. And judging by that photo you have inhumanly long fingers, you freak! lol :D

jofdm - My picture with Joe was actually taken outside after the show. I didn't win passes, but I waited outside by his bus. He came out for a few minutes and I got a picture and a some autographs... Maybe you can wait outside too, if you don't win a pass.

selphm --- i'm sorry but i don't really understand your question; whatever it is, you shouldn't play in any position that's uncomfortable. When playing the modes in a 3 note per string way, you shouldn't have your thumb over the neck and try to have a one finger per fret kinda rule...
hope i make sense.

death cube k- I'm still recording the 'sketches' and I've completed 5 so far. This takes me to around 42 minutes so I have around 20 more minutes to go. The writing has been interrupted because I've only just moved house and I've just found out that I'm doing a mini tour of Europe [early September]. This means that I have to learn 2 hours of music [which has come at the wrong time for me because I want to complete my own stuff]. Listening back to what's been done so far.... The Rape of the Sabine Women is the weakest track IMHO [and that cant be a bad thing].... Never before have I enjoyed writing so much.. this project has been amazing to work on. The latest track is called Artaud: The Edge of Insanity... and the track is mental.. when I've completed the writing, I still have to take it to a nice studio and get it all re-recorded nicely... It looks like I'm going to finish this much later than I originally hoped... However, I think that it will be worth it. MAK, YODA a few others have heard some of the sketches that are not in the IUMA site and their feedback has been pretty good so far.. This encourages me that I'm am 'on to something' with this..... Thanx for taking an interest.. with any luck I've have it completed pretty soon.

JBlaze & Prog, I'm going to O.C., not Baltimore, but maybe we'll get to check all that good stuff out sometime over the summer. My daughter had her class trip to Baltimore last month and visited a few of the places you both mentioned. She said it was all cool, but the food at the Hard Rock was gross. LOL!!
Army green M&M's! Hell yeah! NO candy ass pastel colors should even be in the bag!

Joe, I'd like sixty three backstage passes for the Saudi Arabia show please. I know you're a busy man, but when you have time, send them to the usual address. Can you also please consider touring England? I can't think why it isn't already on the tour schedule.
