Hey Joe! Awesome new CD! I still can't get over how incredible Oriental Melody is! Anyways, I just have to say how disappointed I am that you are playing Austin, TX, the very same night Rush is playing just down the way in Selma! I got those tickets almost 2 months ago and now I can't make it to see you and Dream Theater. If it wasn't the fact that I live 4 hours away from Houston, I would go to the Sunday show. Oh well, that's life. KEEP ROCKIN, MY FRIEND!

Hi all...just got back from my 48hour nap. Well i've bought new Dean Markley BlueSteel strings, i just need a timeout from my Fender Super250's. The Bulgarian show really got me goin' so i decided to confront my guitar...havent played Satch for a long 2-3 months. Well..i tryed Belly Dancer, cause the main ref. just sounds so much like the traditional music down here..it was a piece of cake..great song Joe. Anyway, guys, have fun at the Joe shows (dont forget the reviews, i wrote mine in 4 am).
Dave Gruska - Nice album review
Austin - You are the leader of Satch fans! :]
Major Tom - For christs sake...do you really think we are aware of that website's authority? If it was something like musiciansfriend.com voting...that would have been a whole different story..
Oh and about the "7 string? Double neck guitar?" questions, on the bulgarian show, Joe was playing an Ibanez 7String guitar, that is a prototype made just for Joe...i've read somewhere that Ibanez is planning a comercial version of it. And the double neck...humm..maybe Neboysa know more about the model..i really had to...you know...toilet stuff..when Joe was playing with that guitar..i just catched the end of Oriental Melody :]
PS - Webmaster, how about letting us use HTML tags in our posts. If you need a engine that wil format the text as html, let me know. We can do a more enhanced text editing with html. This is just a opinion, anyone else on this?

Part 8...
Mountain Song - I don't know what it is, but this one just doesn't jump out as a favorite. I know others have said they like it a lot, but it's just another song to me. Maybe it'll grow on me. The solos here are good, and I also like the part from 0:40-1:01.
Any comments about this one? I'm sure a lot of you don't agree with what I said (about this one not being a favorite).

Hey Yamboy, is there any way I can get my original nickname back. You see I was the orignal Ice9 way back when the sefl titled album came out. Then mysteriously it disappeared and someone else got it. I don't ever see that guy on the T2J page. The guy lives in Spain, so he may not even visit anymore. Could you see about that? Thanks. I know it's a selfish request, but you never know until you ask.
On a SBM note. Has anyone noticed the ska breakdown in "What Breaks a Heart" barrows from the style of "One Step Beyond" by Madness. If you haven't heard the song, seek it out and give it a lesson. It's actually a pretty good tune.

jodfm: Add yourself in the show attendance list for the show you are attending. Few days before the show, John(the webmaster) uses a application based on a random selecting algorhytm that selects the aftershow winners. That's how i was selected and i thank my good luck for it! :]

Just a quick note, not sure if it will go noticed. Ive just bought the new album after a quick listen on the net. Wasnt a big fan of the last two, but this one even takes me back to NOTE and SWTAlien in some parts, absolutely outstanding!!!! Great stuff. With the evolution of all things MP3 and the internet this makes the first album i have on disc since 98. Worth every penny. Keep it up, hope to see you on tour somewhere CLOSE TO WALES PLEASE! ;-)

Happy 226th birthday, USA! :-) I'm not sure how many people know this, but I've come across it in several books in recent years.
King George III, ruler of England during the Revolutionary War, wrote the following in his diary on July 4, 1776: "Nothing of importance happened today."
Talk about irony...although it is understandable considering how slowly information traveled back then. He had no clue what was going on on a daily basis in what would soon become the USA.
Of course, no offense is intended towards those T2Jers that live in England. Also, everyone here in the US, please remember to be safe today...have fun, but PLEASE don't drink and drive, etc.

Now to post about the regular T2J stuff...
death cube k - Because of the album review thing I'm doing, I probably make about 4-5 posts per day, so I guess I'll hit 100 by the end of the week. I had no idea that I've been posting so much more than everyone else...
BlueDreamStudios - That would be AWESOME if you could get Joe into a comic book somehow. Please keep us posted, ok?
housefullofkarma - I don't know if they'll air the Tech TV thing again. It was actually the rerun that you saw, it originally aired a few weeks ago. They do have some Satch stuff on their website, though.
atomiq - That's a nice idea, but I think it would clutter up Talk To Joe. I think it's cool that we can do the few things that we can...we should just leave things like they are now.

Hey webmaster. Why not try to get Joe to interact with his fans a little more on the site, and i'm sure you'll get more visitors. Take a leaf out of Frank Gambale's book. He's always on his site, it's just as if we were chatting with him practically.
Just a suggestion thats all.

Hi, just wanted to remind everyone that Total Guitar Magazine, the number one magazine in the UK and better than our mags here in the USA IMO, is doing an issue on the greatest guitarist ever. There will be a list of 100 greats but only one greatest at the numero uno spot.
I only mentioned this once before, just thought I would mention again because there were over 2,000 posts overnight! Wow!
You can email them or send a post card. All information is at:
http://www.totalguitar.co.uk
Deadline is July 12th.
I would like for USA mags to come with CDs and backing tracks! Those of us who don't have a band would like that. I would anyway.
Cheers
:-))
