the gig starts half an hour from now....
clarky- it'd be good to meet up beforehand, im up for meeting all the regulars off this site- everyone be sure to say what you're gonna be wearing. I'll be wearing a black t-shirt with a flamenco dancer and guitarist which says ole! on it... i know it's not the most guitarry t-shirt in the world but it's the best i have. althoguh i'm planning on buying some merchandise, including a t-shirt if possible.

This webcast is kinda boring. i've been watching a crowd for 6 minutes now.
I was watching "Ozzy Live at Budakon" last night on MTV. Zakk Wylde is an AWESOME guitarist. He throws in crazy harmonics every 5 seconds it seems like. If any one gets a chance to see that show, make sure you catch it.

yeah, the live show has been going for about a half an hour now and it's in windows media, fyi. you can still catch it for another hour or two live, and then of course we'll have it all put together with some more footage in a few weeks.

Joe, I'm a huge fan of yours and an aspiring young guitarist. I saw the Crystal Planet tour stop in Seattle and it had an enormous impact on me musically. The Engines of Creation show was mindblowing. I was so thrilled to hear about the most recent G3 tour but I was disappointed that it didn't come through Seattle. Now I see that the tour with Dream Theater is also skipping Seattle. Have you forgotten about your northwest fans Joe? We worship you and we want you to come back!

If anyone is going to the Shepherds Bush Empire concert.
Due to the tube strike there will be no or very little srvices running on London Underground.
The nearest BR station is Kensington Olympia.
Silverlink Willesden Junc to Clapham Junction services, South Central Watford to Brighton and Virgin Cross country services stop there.
It's about 3/4 of a mile to the venue.
See you all there.....if we get there!

It is a little bit annoying knowing that the hi stream connection died during the webcast but the low stream was still going. So here Im sitting with an ADSL connection who cant cope with the low stream. This means that if I had a lousy 56k modem I would have been able to keep watching the webcast, instead of sitting here and feel sorry for myself not being able to watch my hero in action...
