on 56k even in England you don't get any vision. Joe seems to have shuffled his songs round a touch from the first night's set list (as written by an online fan).

Anibur- don't worry, I wouldn't tell anyone. I'm afraid the aftershow pass winners have been selected and they're not you, me, neil morgan, clarky, phrygian dominant, nor any of the other english regulars on T2J. I guess it's the long wait afterwards....

I found the drummer in my band to go with me on thursday, he's heard a bit of Satriani, he likes Jeff Campitelli (not as much as Mike Portnoy or Chad Smith though, it seems) but he definitely likes him...

Is this a bass solo i hear???????? Can't wait to see this!!!!! i thought it was going o break out into love thing having heard stuu's one.... but man this is good.... can't wait for THURSDAY

aaaah Bongos!!!! what????? is this a drum solo?????? I'm going mad here!

Bass & Drum duet??? I can't believe this, this is cool as it gets! But I keep double checkign the streaming to check it hasn't got switched over to something else. And maybe some keyboards or something? So weird..... This is Paul Huxley reporting live from summer webcast 2002.

this concert is awesome..currently in the middle of a very wierd drum'n'bass solo

now into always...wow..thats cool

now whats the next song?..hm.......lets see.... RASBERRY JAM!!! such a cool song..a diferent ending than the one in sf woiuld have been nice....whats the next one?... SURFIN!!!!..cool.........

again...live in sf ending for surfin'.... next song?.......ah yes..the call and response with the audience - same as sf.. next song..i predict friends or satch boogie - or both as the encore...

lets see.......... ... a very long encore..... here we go..satch boogie.....a bit slower i think..but here we go... the tapping section the end.. friends up next?.....the last one....yep...woooh!...a different ending.... man..that was a great concert....although i only came in at oriental melody..it was pretty cool...i cant wait till friday!!! that ws a great webcast..even here in england..but webmaster - you can still put it up as they were lots of unfortunate people who couldn't listen due to crap internet distance and all that..anyway..cool gig..see you joe on friday!!

Its an Ibanez JS 7 string. Ibanez doesn't sell it yet. At least not to my knowledge.

Man, that ending to Rasberry Jam was really cool.

fortunately, once i get to the Heineken site, the concert hadn't started yet. The bass/drum solo was great and crushing day sounded terrific!

well, it's nearly 5 AM now so i gotta hit the sack; peace to all.

Hi everyone. I just finished listening to the webcast. I got a great audio connection. I don't know if there was video too, but I wouldn't've seen it with my 56k modem. I was able to hear the whole thing without any skips or pops or static. That all changed when I tried to go to satriani.com during the last song though, LOL. But that was my fault. Anyway, here's the setlist. Joe played a lot of bits and pieces of other things that I don't remember, so maybe you guys can help me fill in the intros and stuff.

Flying In A Blue Dream

Crushing Day

Devil's Slide

Jam / Cool #9

Belly Dancer

Ice 9

Mind Storm

Seven String

The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing / Awesome Jam

The Extremist

The Crush Of Love / Memories Jam

New Last Jam

Smoke On The Water / Summer Song

The Headless Horseman

Midnight

Starry Night

I Believe

Oriental Melody

Mountain Song

Why

Bass / Drum Solo

Always With Me, Always With You

Raspberry Jam Delta-V

Surfing With The Alien / Call And Response

=====

Satch Boogie

Friends / Jam

There ya go. This was all played as one set...there wasn't a break. As I mentioned before, my connection started getting bad during Friends, so I wasn't able to hear too much of the jam. It rocked, though. I don't think it was a JS song, but it might've been a cover. I was only able to hear a few seconds here and there. Did anyone recognize it?

Here's the quote of the day... Before starting Friends, Joe said "OH MY GOD! I almost started playing without the thing plugged in...". Yes, that's a quote. LOL, Joe...

2 Days to the Bush! Can't wait!

JS Clone1: Re the JS 10th Chromeboy - yeah, very expensive list price, but I got mine for £700.... perfect condition! As for the sound, it's all in the setup. I play live with the Js1000 and the Chromeboy and people always ask how I get such a thick sound with both guitars and ALWAYS are mesmerised by the chrome! Betweeen guitar changes, I tweak the treble slightly to cater for the slightly brighter sounding Chromeboy and it sounds just great.

Don't get me wrong, the wood of the Js1000 sounds better to my ears, but the 10th should not be dismissed - it really does sound pretty flipping wild!

I've recorded a demo with it if you (or anyone for that matter!) wants to hear it. Someone will need to help me out though - I have it as a 28mb WAV file on my PC and have absoultely NOOOO idea how to upload!

peace 2 all.... Toady..

webmaster - I just listed the webcast set list in my previous post. I put each song on a new line, without a blank line in between each. When I sent the message, the list came out as a paragraph. In order to get it to show up in list form, I had to put a blank line in between each song. That works fine, but it makes my post really long. Is there something you can do to allow us to type lists without blank lines in between each thing? Does that make sense?

austin- i had a fine connection on the end of friends but i didn't recognise it as a cover- sounded great though - bear in mind that i';m not saying it wasn't a a cover, just that if it was, i didn't know what it was covering.

I cannot wait for Thursday. You may notice me typing here ever so lsightly more regularly at least until the gig...

I need a good tagline... yo, peace out, doodz! nah. are you local?
