I think the thing we all want to know is: Where can we get a hoody like the one Joe is wearing on the cover of Strange Beautiful Music???

PS: Killer album, absolutely smokin'!

Major Tom:

I understand that you're trying to help Joe out. And honestly, I see where you're coming from where lots of people want something from Joe, rather than to give something back. But unfortunately, in my opinion your method of helping him is less than effective. I read this board sveral times a day, even though I don't often have much to say. And all I have seen for you are posts practically begging people to go vote for Joe. Posts that are always in all caps, which most people on the Web find to be highly annoying.

All in all, your delivery of this request comes off as being the electronic equivalent of someone poking me repeatedly trying to get my attention. And for me, at least, when someone keeps poking me to get my attention, it makes me even more likely to ignore them- they have the exact opposite effect from what they want.

Case in point: my mother is an avid Christian. Her brother is not- in fact he's an atheist. She seems to have made it the goal of her life to convert him to Christianity, and brings this subject up at almost every oppurtunity. What she doesn't realize is that she has essentially had the inverse effect on him of her intentions. As the saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm. I just want you to realize that while you see your posts as being benevolent, others may perceive them as just annoying. That's just a basic part of being human- it's difficult to imagine things through someone else'e eyes. I noticed that you did take time to respond to the comments made about you- this tells me that you aren't just some mindless spam automaton. So try to think about this a bit- and if you don't come to the same conclusions as me, don't sweat it. I won't harass you again about this, out of courtesy.

Thanks for the info and opinions Satch72 and Cyberjoe!

Satch72 - very nice JS-guitars website you have there! If you need pics of JS-90HAM let me know. I just recently grabbed some from eBay when one guy was selling one of them. Too bad I didn't have the money to buy it. It's pretty rare axe and a damn cool looking I must say. :-)

Cyberjoe - I've also thought about changing Dimarzio FRED and Paf Pro pickups on it, but first I need to hear how those Axis pickups sound. I didn't know though that you can change the Edge bridge on it. Got to think about changing that one too, but what about Lo-Pro Edge? Would it fit also? And what exactly is the difference between the Edge and Lo-Pro Edge bridges? I read that the Lo-Pro is a little less stif than the Edge, but is there any other differences than that?

Well that's all for now. I'm really looking forward to play with the JS-100. It hasn't arrived yet, but hopefully comes early this week. :-)

Joe:! I finally got Q-time loaded right....and listend to some of the G3 I've missed! No more computer dork for me. I just finnished making cd covers and inserts for my fellow guitarist Steven Wilde. He does not look to good streched out...the program did it on it's own. I think he will like his picture on the cd, though. I'm glad to see you out and about, with no more postponements. Is there a way to send you a cd? I'm at leox9@hotmail.com Be patient, it's not the best link. Matt? How are you? Send me a note, please. Thanks Joe, I can think of no one else that would be so generous....KTF Randell

Although there is another guitarist that recently came out with new stuff, and I have it, I just can not manage to get Strange Beautiful Music and some of Joe's other CD's out of my CD player. After listening to S. B. M. (several times a day) I then hit random all, obviously after a mix of some of Joe's other songs I eventually get a random song from S. B. M. This cycle has been on going, day after day, since I have purchased S. B. M. I do not see a burn out any time in the near future, possibly not until Joe comes out with another recipe of guitar work to satisfy my fix.

JS Clone 1 - You have 86 posts...will you be the next person to reach 100? LOL. ;-) I saw your pic with Joe again, that's really cool...

Everyone - Now that we're able to post links on this message board, I think it would be cool if everyone posted their pictures with Joe all at once. I'm sure I haven't seen pictures from some of you, and I think posting them here is the easiest way to see them all. So here's my picture:

Alien 32 / JS Clone 1:

Regarding JS10ths - I have one and play the hell out of it - including gigging at least once a month and weekly rehearsals and it's fine!!

If you put some clear static-cling on it around the area where your arm rests and under the strings to prevent pick scratches, you should have no problems. I've been using mine in this way for over a year and it's in as good a shape as the day I got it.

The tone, whilst different to a standard JS1000 (I have one also), is a monster - plenty of growl and definitely great bottom end. If you get the chance to plug one of these babies in, go for it - they are far too pretty looking and great sounding to not be played!

peace. Toady

New Course Of Evolution Demo!

Hey Guys! Well I figured there would still be a few people here with some interst in what the guys and I have been up to for the past few months. Relaxing a lot, but it's time to start up our engines again and get our selves back on the road to writing/recording! We just did a demo of a new song entitled 'Dreams Creation'! Click HERE to check it out!

The song was recorded at my house using cakewalk pro audio 8! So don't expect the best quality :) I'm not a pro engineer! Thanks for the interest! Please send any feedback to satch3d@courseofevolution.com Thanks again!! Later...
