hey, this site rocks! joe, my boyfriend and i are going to your show with dream theater at the tabernacle in atlanta-it's my first satriani show, so i am really excited!!! my boyfriend, nate, is a HUGE long-time fan of yours. he has all of your cd's, andhas been playing guitar for about 10 years. he looks up to you more than any other viruoso level guitar player. the tickets to your show were my anniversary present to him.i entered the after vshow pass contest, so maybe we'll get to meet you and the band.that would be awesome! anyway, i better get back to work. see you in atlanta!

Hi!
Do you have any experience with Ibanez RG 550EX or 570EX series?
Right now I own a Squier Strat, and I wanted to buy a new guitar.
When I tested the guitar (RG570EX) in the store, it felt very "dry". Like scratching on a writing board with fingernails.
Not the sound, but the feeling.
And I could not see the price difference from 150$ to 800$.

JBlaze, no worries ~ it was just a bad batch or something? I love crabcakes & crab meat, but I don't have to stomach to crack open the legs or use a mallot ~ *gag*. I just can't go there with my food (which is why I order crabcakes :). LOL!!
I also love lobster tail, but if you put a full lobster body on my plate...ACK!! I'm runnin'!! LOL!!
In more exciting news, my husband just got word that he passed his test and is now a MASTER electrician!! woohoo!! Now there's a reason to celebrate!! :)

Dear mr Satriani;
Thank you very very much for performing in Amsterdam the day before yesterday (07-16). Now I've seen all three of my heroes; Frank Zappa, Steve Vai and MR JOE SATRIANI... I'll hope you'll visit Holland again...

Hey Joe! I was wondering if there are any legal steps I would have to take to arrange "Friends" for my school band, or do I just need to obtain permission. I've already got the music for it, but want to make sure I do this correctly.

Kda - Joe IS on tour you know... playing a gig every night or every 2 nights at the least. This usually happens. There's plenty of posting in between tours. When the Europe leg of the tour finishes, there will be some blue.

yeah, i know the chat room has been sorely in need of that upgrade, but alas after rushing to get the new site (except for that) up in time for the new album and tour, it keeps getting overrided by other things... currently preparing for the webcast rebroadcast. if i can't get the "real" one up, i'll try to get a temporary one set up in the meantime. thanks for hanging in there, and sorry for the delays on that!
oh yeah, in other news, i've been uploading fan photos from recent shows as they come in, so check the road section to see what's available now. i don't post here as i post them, so you may want to check each week for new ones :}

Also true... But why would he have to change tunings? None of his old songs or new songs require it. For down tuning, that's what the JS-7 is for. Hmm

Hey, I bought tickets a while back from Ticketmaster for the San Diego show. I haven't gotten them yet and was wondering if anyone had bought theirs the same way. If so did you get your tickets yet?
Thanks.
