Hello Joe,
I wanted to know when you are planning to play in San Jose or somewhere close. I know you're busy, so at your cool convenience. Keep kickin'!

Paul Huxley - Recording sounds like a really cool idea; definitely do that. But just as long as it's in A minor... lol. So, er, see you in about five hours...

Guys, Steve Vai has followed suit - his site appears to have had a makeover, too. Hardly any of the pages work properly yet, but it's lookin' good with some great photos and stuff. Reckon y'all should maybe check it out. Incidentally, it says on that site that the live DVD filmed in London is now in the editing stages. Does anybody know which of the London shows he used - Thursday or Friday night? I was at the Thursday night, so it'd very cool if it was that one...
Sorry for the double post, people...
Neil.

Yeah, I checked Vai's site yesterday, it looks OK I think. Maybe most of you already know about it, but in the Photo Gallery they have posted pics from the 2001 G3-tour, they were fun to see. (It's in the Sights and Sounds section)
I was at the Thursday show also, so I agree with Master Yoda here that it would be cool to have that one released. :) Then you would see me, hanging from the balcony, screaming and waving my arms in the air.....
I took a picture of the sign outside announcing the concert, which was very funny. On the top it says 'Steve Vai 6.30-10.30' and below that they proudly present 'Gay Night 11-1' or something like that.... LOL I wonder if the band stuck around for the aftershow there!

Brothers, can Joe read this Board??
If So to Joe:
Would you next create and compose (after the BSM Tour) for video games?
If yes, for what kind of games?
Car racing and rally? Action games? (I remember F1GP and Top Gun...)
RPG games? heroic fantasy? (whynot!)
What about movie soundtracks like The Lord of The Ring :The Two Towers (I know it's on air or packed) perhaps the third chapter : Return of the King..other action movies.
Do you think about producing a music program on CD-Rom support to learn about Joe's guitar playing and sounds cooking? whynot with some samples, additional riffs and special sounds? Just like a great Joe's sound factory?
PS:
Could you (Jon) thinking about the possibility to translate all or a part (this message board) of the site??
for us frenchie fans, we (I) have some problems to find the
good words.
lol
2nd PS:
Joe, what about singing...your melodies, do you try it?
You know, like a son of George Benson (lol)
3rd PS:
Nice Time Machine touch (green) for the site design Jon!

I knew that should be a great idea (such an old travelling idea...)
In the same order, can we propose to Joe some compositions or guitar trainers?
Our guitar playing in the spirit of Joe's playing?
Like a Joe's guitar touch.
Whynot a challenge : the best fan composition played by the master...but I dream, i dream...my mind floats over Joe's strings...
..but let us imagine for a moment, Joe playing live a part of your Joe's music impact???
Are you experienced?
salute à abdallah from Marseille

Narface - Phrygian Dominant pretty much summed it up there. What has happened was when you pull the bar or dive bomb, the base plate of the tremolo acts as a pry bar under the screws and has forced the screws upwards which has destroyed the thread in the wood. This is because you probably had your bridge screwed down too far for tremolo use. All you'll need is wood filler, a drill and you're all set. Make sure the screw threads are still good.

shell and Master Yoda, you were debating which night Steve Vai recorded for the DvD and I can tell you it was the Friday show. I was there and there were cameras aplenty. They filmed Eric Sardinas aswell, and Steve even stole the camera towards the end of the show and ran round the stage with it. The cameraman didn't look too impressed :)
