GRUSKADA- yo dude pick up mega deth's new album (the world needs a hero) pitrelli's work is on it. I was expecting more fretwork madness, but Mustaine shares alot of solos too.
So I could hear more of Pitrelli on Randy Covens work?
MICHELLE-thanx for clearing it up for me

ethn- yo man MD are not out of the game anymore,
mustaine only backed off for a year to let somebody in his place.
You cant say Pitrelli sucks, dude he said that satch is one of his influences, and then Friedman and Pitrelli dont share the same styles.

Kevb - That's ok, standing down on the floor gives a whole new meaning to sardines. I'm glad you weren't in front of me though, I wouldn't have seen a thing.
Michelle - the tattoo thing is still in the thought stages. Although Andy's got one he's not too sure if he wants me to have one. I was surprised on holiday just how many women have them these days.
Speaking of holidays, if anyone is going to Skiathos/Greece go to Skiathos town, there is a little cafe alongside the outdoor theatre that make the most amazing milk shakes.
LOL Sharon

JS1: I'm not sure why you had a hard time with my message. Maybe it was the other way around. I had thought you were going to change the trem on your guitar. Sorry. It's not like I don't customize my guitars. You should see what i've done to my pro. Count your blessings, everybody. it's better than grouse. KTF

Joe,
I do 3D Animation & am currently working on a "not for profit" Animation of the HULK at home for fun.
I'd like to know if you would give me permission to use about 15 to 30 seconds of "MIND STORM" for the Background Music.
(the section from about 1:50 to 2:20 )
You would have a Credit at the end of the Animation.
I can send you links to an image sequence if you would like to take a look at it.
P.S. I really think "MIND STORM" would be a great theme for the "HULK Movie", ever thought of approaching them with the idea?

OK, here goes..... According to a survey made by Total Guitar Magazine (I think by the readers voting for it), these are the Top 20 Guitarists throughout history. Pretty interesting..... Clapton in 4th place?! And what's Brian May doing in the top ten? Or am I being too mean now...? But the No 1 is of course indisputable. Comments, please.......
1. Jimi Hendrix
2. Jimmy Page
3. Eric Clapton
4. Slash
5. Brian May
6. Joe Satriani
7. Eddie Van Halen
8. Dave Gilmour
9. Kirk Hammett
10. Steve Vai
11. Carlos Santana
12. James Hetfield
13. Tom Morello
14. Kurt Cobain
15. Mark Knopfler
16. Zakk Wylde
17. Gary Moore
18. Jeff Beck
19. Stevie Ray Vaughan
20. Angus Young

webmaster - Thanks for your continued hard work on the site. I have a question for you that doesn't affect me, but it will probably have an effect on some other people on this site. I thought I'd ask you before the tour starts so you can get a quick answer from Joe. During the second half of the tour, when Dream Theater closes the shows, when will the aftershow pass winners go backstage to meet Joe? Will they go back during DT's set, or will Joe wait for them until the very end of the show?
stu hacking - Yeah, I think Stu's working on a third GHS album. Or maybe it's already done.
Baradi - You can buy Joe's tab books at www.amazon.com.
minus human - I'm pretty sure all of those things about Marilyn Manson are made up... I don't think he was on Mr. Belvedere either.
gutarman05 - Joe didn't do Somewhere Over The Rainbow...sorry.
...Austin...
