Kell, sounds like you had a great time at the show. Man, I can't wait until it's my turn!! Geez, you really had a close call too! Some folks don't understand the IMPORTANCE of paying attention when their driving. We all have our times when we have to reach for something or pay attention to our kids or something, but all the phones & other crap in cars these days are to distracting. I drove behind a girl yesterday, a youngin', who turned her rearview down & started putting on make-up & hairspray. HAIRSPRAY in a car ~ while driving!! Some ppl. just don't get it. Anyways, glad your o.k. and made it to the show.

Michelle - You're gonna love this show. As you know already, all of these bands are scary, yet inspiring. They just keep getting better and better with time.

I love the guys out here that read the paper while cruising up I-10. I'm not kidding, I've seen it and it gives me a very uneasy feeling as I too drive a little car - Suzuki Swift.

On the issue of tats... I don't have any, probably won't ever get one, but my counterpart guitar player has three tats. One not so good the other two are very well done and they suit him just fine... and for the record he's 34. Different strokes.....

Have a good one....

Clarky - Aah what a gent.

Michelle/Maire - I'm all for silliness, beats being miserable.

Naty - we have torrential rain here

Can't remember who asked about Joe playing Why, he played it for us lot, twas great. Never liked Headless Horseman till Joe played it live, sounds so much better.

Does anyone get the joke yet about the two nuns in the bath and one asks where's the soap, still beats me.

Eesybubb(sorry if i've spelt it wrong) Joe is probably the six million dollar man, the hands must be bionic. I wonder if Joe does have his hands insured.

Gonna have to shut my windows now, too much rain, droplets are the size of stones. It's that I'm gonna get you type of rain if you dare to step outside.

LOL Sharon

Just remembered - I've been to the chat room and don't know why but my computer keeps jumping back to the beginning after a few seconds, it's damn annoying, just reading some messages and wham, jumps back to the beginning.

Any ideas, is this how the chat room works or is something wrong with my computer.

I'm counting the hours till the show tonight here in San Diego!!! Trying to "look" busy at work hoping the time flies by faster. Sounds like the show last night in AZ was incredible (as expected). Watched the DVD last night and listening to SBM right now. Man am I excited about tonight.

Just a note to let you know that your marketing team is doing a great job Joe!! Picked the latest issue of Guitar (or Guitar Player... not sure, got it home) and inside were a couple loose handbill flyers for the US Tour, not to mention several ads inside the issue itself (promos & gear). Pretty slick man!

Hello Joe... Just wanted to let you know that I started listening to your music back in 2000...aah I finally found real music to my hears. I must say that your better then Vai, but that's just my opinion. Your new cd is awesome and it truly speaks the unspoken words...make others feel your vibe. You’re a true genius to this music industry. Can't wait to see you at the 8/10 concert and hopefully meet you in person at your signing in LA. =)

jayjo:I saw your name on the attend list.Yours & mine were the only ones I recognize here at T2J.Where are you sitting?.......About the tattoo subject:I am a former tattoo hater.I was totally not into them.I never wanted one until I turned 34.I just woke up one day & said "I'm going to get a tattoo!...To this day,I do not regret getting it.Even my Mother liked it.It is a small Dragon that must be seen.It is not like the others. When I went to get it, they had just put it in the rack.Brand new design.People have come up to me & said that's the best tat I've seen.He did an excellent job on the detail.50 yrs. is not far away in my books but I made sure that I could wear a shirt to cover it when neccessary. Some places won't even think of hiring you if you have a tattoo.I've seen older people who have tat's & I think it gives them Character.I agree with Michelle that you must think about it for a while before you go & Make sure that you get a good tattooist. You don't need a $hitty tattoo on you for life!.That's my thought on the subject.Hi Joe:)...jblaze1

Naty- Kandinsky is a great comparison to Joe's music. Kandinsky believed that painting should be " an exact replica of some inner emotion"- Joe 's music evokes so much emotion. k-compared his art to the art of music, that is one reason why he chose to be nonrepresentational and said his paintings are " what the spectator Iives and feels while under the effect of the form and color combinations".

Kell and Michele, I'm glad you're both safe...keep safe all.

Ya Yo and RDG - enjoy the show, seems like a great venue.

Joe, Jeff et al- Rock on. Have fun! Looking forward to more photos. See you in a few weeks. Ciao ciao, Linda xo

Hi everyone. I'm just trying to piece together the set list from reviews that I've heard here and elsewhere. Feel free to correct this. I've put them in an order that I think is similar to how Joe might've played them.

Flying In A Blue Dream

Crushing Day

Devil's Slide

Cool #9

Mind Storm

Seven String

The Mystical Potato Head Groove Thing

The Crush Of Love

Midnight

Starry Night

I Believe

Satch Boogie

Always With Me, Always With You

Raspberry Jam Delta-V

=====

Summer Song

Joe did not play Why (bummer). I haven't seen anyone mention New Last Jam. I love that song...did he play it?

When I went to satriani.com this morning I had the same picture pop up in both the photo gallery and aftershow spots...it was June 28, 2000. I thought that was funny.

The Perseid Meteor Shower will be visible on the 11th, 12th, and 13th. I love astronomy and am way into stuff like this. The best viewing times will be between 2:00 AM and dawn.

Zsolt77 - Yeah I saw those girls in the picture, it made me smile. Way to go, Joe! ;-)

eebysubb - I was at the LISF show. When Joe made that first DVD comment I remember looking around the room and just being able to feel the electricity in the air. It was an AWESOME feeling.

kell - I think I know what you're talking about in TMPHGT. I heard it on the webcast but forgot to mention it. Did Joe play New Last Jam last night?

...Austin...

RDG - Yep, I saw those loose concert ads too - I grabbed one for framing. My 9-year old neice is totally into Joe and the guitar these days. I am taking her to the show in Baltimore on 9/6/002 - her first concert. Se we are going to frame that little ad along with her ticket stub as a momento...

Now if only we could ad an aftershow pass!!! That would be awesome!!!

JOE - Love the new release! Strange AND Beautiful...

Ibztone --- thanks for the link!!

Mr Nick --- what do you mean? who's a fake? Are we supposed to understand or is that comment meant for the webmaster alone?

Glad to see all of you psyched up about Joe's tour...!!!

Loo Who / Naty --- I've never heard of Kadinsky before. Forgive my ignorance, but any background info on him?
