Mr. Nick: Clicking the "EMAIL" on top should work. I read a message saying about his modem being out till monday, but it should be up by now. I'm not sure on what the deal is if your looking at the Used Private section. I have e-mailed rich at Ibanezrules.com and he responded pretty quickly.

Hey all, here's a link for the chat transcript http://cgi1.usatoday.com/mchat/20020805004/tscript.htm

Joe: or any fans out there that can help me. i am doing year 12 HSC this year. i play guitar (obiously) and i am playing a fusion of "flying in a blue dream" and "the forgoten". i am also doing something called and music viva, where i have to talk for 10 minutes to the examiners about somthing to do with music. my topic is "joe satriani has influenced the change in moden guitar playing", and i need as many points as i can from the teqniques joe uses and what influences the style he plays in i.e. Devils Slide to the many people that influenced him in playing guitar. i have many points already but i need a few more to have it complete. even any web site you would recomend. your time is greatly apreciated. your new album is absolutely fantastic. i only recived it 2 weeks ago seeing as i live in australia and its not released here yet, i had to get it imported. thanks again.

Hey Gang... for those of you who are interested, I just uploaded a whole bunch of tunes to my IUMA site... I've been busy... perhaps it's because I'm about to move and all, and it's hard to say how much time I'll have to spend recording after it's all said and done... anyways... Some new tracks enititled "Cry Of Desperation", "Slick New Hair Do", "Ode To Edward", and finally a cover of Joe's tune "Until We Say Goodbye".

You can download them at http://barriepoole.iuma.com

Thanks for your time!

Peace....Barrie

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey Dave! Nice to see you had a good time. I was about ready to call out the National Guard! lol! No hangover? I don't even have to drink and I wake up with a hangover! lol!

I gotta read this chat. I missed the whole thing, but I hear there's an "evening with" tour coming up. YEAH!!

DUDE, we ARE watching Dog eat Dog...or as it's called over here...How the Booby Bounces - j/k sort of. I wanna watch football, but my husband turned this on. I've never seen it before, but my husband just informed me that he watched it last week with the guys in his shop...at work...while they were supposed to be working...no wonder he didn't mind working night shift! LOL!!

JS Clone 1 --- thanks for the info on the tremsetter! i had no idea that Ibanez made guitars with such a device... so did you get it fixed in the end?

Also, i'd just like to say that i prefer the JS body over the S body; i don't want to start a debate but that's just how i feel...

Jazz guitar: try to find a place where you can turn up to ten for an extended period of time. Nothing helps more to improvising than "Feeling" yourself play at a concert loudness. And don't be to hard on your self or listen too close. Just close enough to enjoy what you are playing. Then you can experience holding on to notes. The lagato stuff will come with performance/practice. I sometimes critque my self to stringently when I play. Having an audience is next!!! Good luck, and play on. Joe: Some great questions! and great answers! Hope to see you at a private concert if I win "The Bone" contest. It's on my B-Day they pick the winner! Maybe i can get you to sign my guitar!?(Lets see if I win first....)KTF

Quantum...not to start an argument but i really like the s shape besides the fact that i haven't really been close to a js. im just sayin that switching from an rg to an s was a big difference and a huge load off my back.

i think you are so right about the instructional video issue joe...after watching the live in san francisco i learned so much crap. thanks.

i am soooo happy to hear about the us evening with thing comin up. hope you're in vegas. but if you play in a club and i can't get in because im 15 then im gonna be a little pissed. and the orchestral thing...awesome idea. can't wait.

jazzguitar...what i do usually is just play guitar for a little while and then if something sounds good then i write it out. that head-to-guitar thing never worked for me either.

eoc is perfect lawn-mowing music. i was thinking that they should call a movie...

Yes, I like the sound of "an evening with" tour for early winter :)

Joe, I hope you consider Minneapolis as a possible stop. Just make sure that your tour bus driver does'nt take the wrong exit and drop you at one of the local polka fesivals...ha ha!

I enjoyed the chat thing you had going on today. It was way too short though (just jealous my question didnt get answered).....lol

Kda, EOC is "perfect for anything" music.....heh heh

Hi everyone. I just found out that Chick Hearn died earlier tonight. I'm sure everyone in California knows who he is. For those that don't, he was the play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Lakers for over 40 years. I loved listening to him while I was watching Lakers games on tv...this really stinks. I have so many memories of games that he called. He fell and was injured on Friday...he had two surgeries over the weekend to releive swelling around his brain. He never woke up.

Joe - I read the transcript from your USA Today chat... I'd love to eventually hear that orchestral album that you were talking about.

j brozt - You're never too old to start playing the guitar!

sparrow - Joe only made 300 original EPs? I thought it was 500...oh well. It's awesome that you have one. Can you write me into your will? ;-) I wouldn't mind having that.

jblaze1 - Hopefully you'll get to meet Joe on this tour. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

Kda - If you look around on Ebay you can find some shirts that are new and have never been worn. I guess people buy them and try to sell them for more than what they paid.

WindxHeaven - I think Joe said Stu wasn't on the new album because the songs called for a different style of bass playing.

satriami - Where are your seats for the 8/11 show? I'll be there...up front in the pit.

ARASH1 - Joe has some tab books for sale at www.amazon.com.

XtremeSkier - Do you have a picture of yourself up on the site here? Where can I find you on the DVD? I was there too.

...Austin...

Iambic - What? Change trems? I don't really understand what you said.

Death Cube - Hipshot.com is something else. I don't know what the hell it is.

This tremsetter says Ibanez on the back of it.
