Well...it's just after midnight now, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Michelle! Have a great day...
Psycho Monkey - Roughly how much is 7,000 yens in US money? Just wondering...
Kda - I said Joe would probably be posting more...LOL. Go look through the archives around the time of last year's G3 tour. There was a stretch where he was posting nightly after each show. I miss that.
akreepish1 - Jon has to send out thousands of emails, so I guess it's easy to see where a mistake can happen in his email program. Oh well. Can you (or someone else) forward a copy to me? ALewis525@aol.com... Thanks.
...Austin...

Hi I love the dvd "live in San Francisco" only one remark, everytime Stuart Hamm is mentioned or when he do his bas solo the people start yelling and calling boe words!!..., is there something happened or is there a inside joke, 'cause is a strange thing when you listen and watch, this by the way great, dvd. I must wait a day or two before I got the new cd, (we have to wait here in Belgium a little longer to get the cd )so I'm very exited. I'm working on my solo CD(demo) and let me tell you, you are a great inspiration for my new idea's, not in the way you play guitar ( you are to good) but more in the way there are no frontiers in sound or technical stuff, so I try all sort of things out
Greetings from Belgium to you Joe and all the people around you.

2 Ton Tessie: We hear you........ but the truth is that you are now doing the same thing to Clarky as you scold him for. Everybody has the right of their own opinion as long as he doesn't hurt someone else, right? Well, maybe Clarky isn't hurt by what you're saying, if I were in his shoes I'd be pi**ed... OK, I'm not in his shoes and I'm sure Clarky can speak for himself. I just felt I had to say something.
And I'm sure Joe can stand up for himself as well, and that he knows that you can't please everybody everytime, even if they are your fans.
I just think that we should have an open forum here at TTJ. Everyone should be able to express their opinions on music and not be afraid to be told off... and that means you're welcome here too, 2 Ton Tessie. I just didn't like your tone.
And congrats to all of you who won the setlist sontest. Nice to see that the winners are spread over the world! :)

Hey 2 Ton... I've not heard the SBM album yet (I know shame on my, i just havn't been in a position to get it but don't worry i'm planning a cd buying sesh soon enough) but clarky's been around on this forum for as long as I can remember which is a fair few years now. I respect his opinion. One thought to consider might be that every album produced by ur favourite artist is not the best thing since sliced bread. Joe has his good days, his bad days and his inspired days. Could it be possible that ur overlooking the musical relevance of the album simply because it's "JOE'S NEW ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Anyway to cover me against all sorts of flaming and mud slinging i'll remind u that I still havn't heard the album yet but as soon as I do i'll post my thoughts.
Sorry I havn't posted for a while, hopefully I'll become a bit more regular :-) (bran and prunes me thinks)
S'later Phatman...
PS I'd like to get some recording software for my computer nothing to extravegant, any suggestions?

Guys,
i can't remember who said it, but someone once posted that if you don't like a Satch song, don't stop listening to it until you like it!! LOL... sorry, i am just trying to lighten the mood.
seriously, everyone should just keep it cool. perhaps 2 TON TESSIE shouldn't take Clarky's comments so personally? I'm sure Joe would be cool with anything....
my scale book says the Enigmatic scale goes:
1 b2 3 #4 #5 #6 7 1
or in the key of C
C Db E F# G# A# B C
is that right, ppl?

I would like to Echo so many others when I plead forJoe to play many songs from the new CD. It is starting to give Surfing a run for my favorite CD. I love 7 String, Belly Dancer, and Oriental Melody. There are others that are great as well.

Yoda - ok.. modulation... lol I'm talking about something sweeter and not actually being very clear... you have a pretty good theortical and chordal knowledge.. what I'm saying is "put it to good use"... modulation via 'pivot chords', 'dominant subsitution to a cadence', 'Germany 6ths progression', in fact any aug 6th... chose a target key and maybe try to smoothly work your way there by passing through several others [like a 'transition' in a Sonata or symphony].... let's get that solid little brain of yours really fired up, searching, thinking, applying ideas from theory to practice but without losing the artistic element.... you can do this.. I know you can....
I've not looked at the Am thing yet.... I will do when I get a mo....
Also, I found out today that the tour has been postponed until next spring... this means that I'll try to get your backing track done within the next couple of weeks ['cos the pressure is off]....
At the end of August I'll try to nip down to Spain to see me mum for a week or so... when I get back I figure that a jam will be in order...
For me it is now time to prep for Jemfest in October.... woohoo
