Webmaster -downloaded the Quicktime stuff, just like some of the others small picture, hit and miss picture and sound, took a long time to download too. I'm not a computer wizard and don't understand this URL stuff, can you explain how to get this going in simple easy step terms.
Thanks
Sharon

sharon - it should just plain work. if you have problems with it cutting in and out, try a little later when the network between you and the apple streaming servers may not be as busy. i'll see about adding an easy link to view it in an external player that makes it easier to enlarge.

OK I see no one is paying attention to set lists and stuff. So here we go:
ALBUQUERQUE, NM AUGUST 14, 2002
KING'S X SET LIST
-Dogman
-Lost In Germany
-Cigarretes
-Over My Head
-It's Love
-We Were Born to Be Loved (Found this title in the DT page, so this is now the unconfirmed name for this song)
King's X rocks HARD, man. And I'm still wondering why would anyone pay 50 bucks for a concert and show up late. Their loss. If any of you liked King's X, go buy their Best Of cd, or buy Dogman. That CD is totally awesome.
Heck, even my wife liked them! And I've never played any of their music to her, 'cause I never imagined she would like it! Truly, if u show up late you're missing a great band.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM AUGUST 14, 2002
DREAM THEATER SET LIST:
-Pull me under
-Strange DejaVu
-Through My Words
-Fatal Tragedy
-Misunderstood
-Lie
-The Great Debate
-Peruvian Skies
-The Spirit Carries On
-Take the Time
-Working Man (yeah, the RUSH tune! they only played the solo section, though)
UN-F@#$%NG-BELIEVABLE show by DT!!!! And after they played SDV and kept on going (songs 2-4 are from the Scenes from a Memory CD), I thought they were going to play the whole Scenes CD. They didn't, but by the end of Fatal Tragedy they could've walked out of the stage and everyone would've gone home happy. Relentless, powerful, ... and James sang his @ss off. Amazing.
In fact, since everyone's entitled to an opinion, here's mine: All of those who didn't like King's X or Dream Theater after seeing THIS show are sick. Please visit your doctor inmediately.

JOE SATRIANI SET LIST
-FIABD
-CRUSHING DAY
-DEVIL'S SLIDE
-COOL # 9
-SATCH BOOGIE
-CRUSH OF LOVE
-MINDSTORM
-7 STRING
-MIDNIGHT
-STARRY NIGHT
-AWMAWY
-RASPBERRY JAM ...
-MPHGT
-SUMMER SONG
-FRIENDS (encore)
Well, I might as well get flamed right now.
JOE: U cannot follow up Dream Theater with FIABD. Circles, Crushing Day, even Ice 9 would be better. I really love FIABD, but after being destroyed by DT, it even feels letargic.
As soon as I got into the Joe mindset, the show seemed to be getting better and better. Unfortunately, Mindstorm sounded very muddy, and it didn't help matters that Jeff got lost during the first riff. The rest of the show was typical Satch, and it seemed that this time he played harder, a meaner Satch if u will, specially during Starry Night. His outro solo was really rippin'.
As soon as Summer Song started I thought: "I've gotta tell Joe to stop playing this effin' song!" But then it seemed to me that this song got the loudest response from the crowd, so I'm now in the minority.
This may seem like a negative review, but I really liked Joe's show. The whole concert was definitively the best concert I've ever seen. Period. It's just that I've now seen Joe live 9 times, and he's played Summer Song all 9 times. So all the people who will flame me, please see Satch live 9 times before doing so.
Albuquerque is a very nice city, and the Journal Pavilion is extremely confy and modern. The 2 nicest venues I've been to are in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. U guys are spoiled. And the chicks!! No problem spotting nice looking girls in this one ( but don't tell my wife, 'cause she didn't notice! ) In all, great trip. Later.

Hey webmaster, how come we can't download the webcasts? It would save apple a lot of bandwidth if we could download them. Plus I would like to see it without having to be on the net all the time.
Anyone able to download it? If so how?

webmaster - Thanks to you and Tyler for getting the new chat working.
njbeast - Joe takes a feeling and tries to find musical notes to describe what he feels. He said that in some cases he blows the feeling way out of proportion and makes a big deal out of nothing. I think that's how he said What Breaks A Heart came to be. And to answer your other comment, the webmaster's email address is "webmaster@satriani.com"...hehe.
sharon - You have a week to watch the first part of the webcast. Then it'll be replaced by the next part. I think the webmaster just explained it. And about your other comment...I'm on the LISF DVD, along with MegaBoyd, Al Surfer, and some other people here (I can never keep track of everyone, LOL). Have you found me yet or should I point myself out?
JS Clone 1 - Joe said somewhere recently that he had completed some work for a orchestral / symphonic project.
...Austin...

Wingnut - Jem7VWH. S540 LTD (my latest) and a pre Vai RG. A guitar we bought used with the paint stripped off.
It is my fave. It looks like no Ibanez guitar in the past few years. He's got the hottest pickups i've ever heard. The front pickup sounds so much like a strat but a little warmer cause it's a humbucker. I took the middle pickup out years ago and the rear pickup is a burning hot pickup. So much bite to it. Currently wired to full front, out of phase (both pups on equal volume) and full rear with rear pup paralell/series option.
Nice neck. Much bigger than any wizard neck and has a bubinga strip.
my Jem7VWH is stock with an excellent home fret dress and I got the S540 LTD on a trade in with my Jem555BK.
My S540 LTD isn't like any others i've seen in Ibanez catalogs. Different pups and several other small things such as Edge instead of Lo Pro Edge.

punkdude, no, it's not to late. It still makes me smile when I read good wishes from my friends :)
JBlaze, ha! Those MD crabcakes came from the Gulf of Sewage! YUK! I should have asked where they got their crabs from...and what year! lol! Maybe they WERE made from the "other" kind of crabs! (that's so gross!) LOL! The meal I had yesterday was good! lol! Good ol' Pennsylvania crab cakes! LOL! Honestly, it was just a bad batch down in MD. My husbands crab legs were good (so he says), but whatever funk they were feeding me was rank! LOL! I'm scarred for life! lol!
Sharon, yes ~ crabs are something none of us want to get! Crab cakes, however, yes - I'll have 2! LOL!
elpp, DT is a fantastic live band! I can't wait to see them again!

Nick Lee - Nice. That one's got an Edge eh? All the pre 91's do. Does it annoy you with string bending? How the bridge comes up and releases tension on other strings dropping their pitch? You ever try blocking it?
JOE - Please play MEMORIES and/or HORDES OF LOCUSTS for Augusts 31st Toronto!

Wingnut: Strictly Acoustic right now....as in like my name, lol.
A '91 (made in U.S.) Custom Legend....Looking into a nice RG
series (but not many Lo-Pro Edge to choose from and I would change the pup's), or a PGM300WH or PGM10th, or maybe a JEM7VWH, or any JS1000....LOL, I'm such a dreamer :-) I am looking into one of those......
Thank's for all the info on the Webcast JON!! I'll try at off peak hour's to get a view....Everyone who is having problems with the WC now should remember that it will be "fully" available within a month :-)....
BTW, ELPP, thank's for the review bro'!! I guess that's what happen's when you go crushingly hard to Satchuresque!! It probably would have been better to be on the East Coast and see JOE first....That way you would be brought up to the pinnacle, and then bungied (bungy) down the peak when DT came on....lol ;-)
Smell's like Ocean in the air around here with all the crab talk going on....lol....
Peace all, /\/\ike

Actually, the bridge doesnt bother me that much...just the fact I'm having trouble pulling up on it right now...and the damn guitar shop is neglecting my order or trem arm washers :(
So, the edge lo-pro..that disable the other strings from lowering in pitch when you bend? What makes the lo-pro superior...I've never found out...
