Whojackafibby - Yeah, that picture is pretty cool. I found that a few months ago. And no, I didn't hear about the guy in NY...do you have a link to a news story?

akreepish1 - Man, that stinks. Although now I don't feel as bad about not being able to make the show.
Jamon21 - The pickups in that guitar were Seymore Duncan Pearly Gates. Sadly, that is the guitar that was recently stolen.

Hi joe, This is miki, I am big fan of yours from Bangladesh. I am sorry about your stolen guitar. This is the first time I'm writing to a hero. Would you tell me , how do you get your inspiration to create such lovely and heavenly pieces like , "always with you , always with me, or the love thing " . I also like your all compositions but these two are just heavenly. I like to get a least response from you. miki

Dave, Black Dog is a great song! Fortunately, my dad & my older sister (5 yrs older) had great taste in music. I was brought up on all the great rock of the 60's & 70's. Oh, you still non-smokin'?

Whojacquiefibula, I heard that story on tonights news. Great news for they guys family, I'm sure! I would have thought they would have plastered pictures of this guy all over the place, but maybe he was messed up and doesn't look the same? I forgot to say good luck to the youngin' on 9/7!!

Quantum:yes,I do run both.I turn the Cry Baby off when I use the Horsie but leave the Cry baby on the rest of the time..You do have to run the Horsie last to cut the noise.I have a Line6 POD which does a wonderful job at cutting the hiss(which I don't get much of)..My sound is sweet now!..:)jblaze1

Hey Joe: I had a really cruddy day today. If I did not have your album to listen to to take the edge off............. On to tomorrow. With all the guitars that I know that have been stolen from you and I and steve...ect. there should be a couple of bands well equiped! What ever happend to music stores? That's where the rest of us get ours, unles your Brian May, Who made his with his dad. I've attempted to make a few over the years, but my luthier skills aren't top notch yet. Hummm.....theres and idea for work! School is tight lipped about copyright info.....I don't know why. Traveling in sept, and I hope that things stay calm enough for a quick family get together. Treating my Mom for her B-Day that month. Lord knows our family has already been shot at during 9/11 last year!!!! In memory of Dennis Mulligan Ladder company 2 NYC. RIP. Save a seat at the table, Dennis. He could be a distant cousin. My Father is looking into that. We did not know that there were family in NYC till....... I start singing again tomorrow, in Itallian! I wanted to get my voice back in shape after 10 years...so I jumped in the deep end with a voice class. I'm like you....I would not like to torture my audience......but taking a tip from Marcus Martin:Guitarist, "Ladies and gentlemen, I've suffered Long and Hard for my music.....and now it's YOUR turn!." Once I pay all my tickets and bills, I'll look for tickets to one of your shows. Stay Cool.

Joe... I´m deeply sorry about your guitar.

I hope that this person makes up his/her mind and returns it in the same shape that it was.

Sad news from this front too... We are doing some carpentry in my house. One of the carpenters, I don´t have a clue how... tore off the brige of my acoustic guitar. I hope it can be fixed.

That taught me that I have to buy another case (I have another acustic guita.. that one has a case) and keep my electric guitar on its case (If he did something that my electric guitar he wouldn´t be counting it!).

jblaze1: JoeJack, that sounds cool to me. Do you think it would be a distraction to Joe to know, while he is playing a jig, that there is an anti-theft device inside his guitar?

He probably wouldn't even think about it after awhile, hah?

I think all of Joe's guitars should be fitted with rape alarms as standard, just with the other controls and if anyone touches it who's not supposed to, chromeboy could pull his tremolo arm round and down to press the button. Oh wait a minute, what's that you say? Guitars can't do that? What do you mean? Oh, they don't actually have brains or muslces of their own... OK. Forget that.

I am hoping that in the rare chance that Satch actually reads this, he might decide to grace me with one of his signature picks. I know that this might be a lot to ask, but Satch if you read this, it would mean the world to me.

Thanks

Hey Jblaze1:Love the thought of two wahs lined up :-)

I know what u mean about having the wah set in one position for different tonal properties but i'm not really bothered about that. I guess if u wanted it set up likw that for a song an bit of gaffa tape would hold it in place nicely???

Stu_hacking:The Little Aligator pedal is another Steve Vai creation. It's a volume pedal clear and simple.

Ripping the webcast:There is a program called Streambox VCR and it'l save streaming video/audio u should be able to download it from somewhere, just search google. Then it's easy enough to download a program to convert it to whatever file type u want mpg, avi etc....

Whojackafibby: That is one cool picture :-) nice...

Dizzy: The coil tap on the JS guitars allows u to turn the humbucker pick ups into single coil pick ups. I think i'm also right in saying that the JS guitars contain a treble booster or something which prevents loss of the treble frequencies when the guitar volume is lowered...

Did any UK people here read the review of LISFS in "Guitarist" Magasine. They actually thought Stu WAS being booed. Man thats really getting to me.... It's NOT BOO it's STU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anybody know how easy it would be to change my shitty Lo-trs trem system to a better one, is it just a matter of taking one out and slotting the other in????

All this wonderful talk about guitar's....LOL....Whoever it was that came up with the anti-theft system (aka Lojak) for JOE's guitars was a brilliant idea!!!!

Was playing EOC in the car today........CRATS is non-stop in my head these day's!! What a perfectly made song...intro, mid and outro...The outro has got to be JOE's kuulest next to "Bells of Lal ll"!!!!!!!!!

JOE: Any chance of "Bells of Lal ll" for the tour dude?!?!?!

Peace all, /\/\ike

It is Stu not Boo: Austin....I did some checking around, and if you head over to http://www.collectivesoul.com there is some new's about Ross' departure from the band......Joel Kosche is the new guitarist for now, ("not filling Ross' shoes, but wearing his own") and it has hit them pretty hard because the band grew up together, and known each other since childhood......It's a pretty cool site BTW....

CLARKY - Thanks for the advice man, I've always tended to drift in and out of motivation when it comes to playing. This site and particularly your advice have kept me on 24 hour guitar train of thought (too bad i've got a job to do as well - lol). Keep me posted on the UK gig front, i'd like to see a pro playing 'under orders'. I'm sure i'll have more questions in time but learn the knowledge you accquire before accquiring anymore eh? I'll keep you posted on my progress and when i get something half decent down, i wouldn't mind your comments?

Joe, you know what? the problem is with your road crew. I remember when you other guitars got stolen a few years ago. Your road crew is incompetant, and I hate to be rude, but for this to happen two times in two years? It might be an inside job, or someone at the venue took it. I am sorry, that really blows. If anyone stoile my guitar I would lose my mind. It just goes to show you, you can never trust anyone these days. If I was you i would be saying to myself, "wow, I am so nice to my fans and this is what I get". But not all your fans are A-holes, like the one who stole your guitar......Anyhoo, I can't wait till your show in boston, hopefully I get to meet you again! Be cool.....Shout out to Matt King....
