SATCH3D - You said it. You said it dead on.
Still too pissed to say much else.
One thing worth mentioning, I jammed at a club my late uncle used to play it before he died. A lot of friends of his were suprised I came to play. I got it on tape and everything.
Again, everyone check ebay for a chrome Ibanez.

If I were Satch, I'd refuse to put out any more CD's until the guitar was returned... I bet a lot of people would hunt the guy down. Dang! another Satch guitar stolen.......

What a fucking jackass. Nothing chaps my ass more than drunk drivers and thieves. You know, a good percentage of us out there work our asses off so we can buy musical equipment, cars, houses, whatever. Then, some guy who's too lazy to get a job takes it away. In this case, whoever stole it is just a dumbass...that guitar is worth nothing since it's stolen.
Don't worry Joe...at the Boston show, Evbro, Naso, satch3d (?), and I have your back. :-)

Yo, Part 2 webcast it's on :) So cool fact: I was there in Amsterdam, and i can relive it on the Internet, thankx Joe for placing it on the Net, but....the streaming is very very poor here in the Netherlands, and i have 1 Mbps ! Cable...so my question is: is there a way to download it from your server and see/play it later ? because Quictime player won't let you save nothing ...bummer...
Anyway, thankx for all the music you've made...it maked me a better player simply watching you...I had a Satriani cover band once for a few years, and thats was nothing but fun !
Want to hear my own stuff ? go look at: http://people.zeelandnet.nl/mlavooy/ (don't steel some ideas..it's all copywrigted stuff...sorry), maybe you have a change to listen to it, if so, let me know will Ya.
For all the guitarist in the world who want's to play the solo's with a damn good sounding midi file (much is made by myself), go see my idea wich it's now in hands of mike:

I need help idenifing a guitar, My nephew just bought a Ibanez
from a pawn shop, the body is simalur to a js model but not
as rounded, it has 1 hum. & 2 single coils that say Ibanez usa
in big white letters, it plays really nice with tons of sustain,
but has only 22 frets (which drives me nuts), ...anyway, I
told him i would try ti find out what model it is......thanks

Michelle:...I just about cried this morning...Since last night I have looked at Joe in a different way...Sort of like a religous experience I guess. He is so appreciative of his fans & puts on a hell of a show!..He apologised to everyone about his loaner guitar & his sound.I couldn't tell the difference......Joe does not deserve that kind of B.S...I had a Les Paul that was owned by Aldo Nova, sold to a friend at a show, then sold to me.I was forced to sell it after 10 years to a guy who loved Slash.Someone stole it from him out of his car.His wife was so upset that she wrote Guns & Roses a letter telling them of the mishap. They actually sent him an Autographed poster which I thought was a real nice gesture.I was so mad,I wanted to find it & give it back to him...Not keep it for myself!..As a guitarist,I can understand the bond between a musicain & his instrument. Some people just don't get it!:(....jblaze1

Hey joe, saw you at Ruth eckerd hall in Clearwater, You put on a great show and I was very impressed with your performance. Being from Cleveland, Ohio I was alittle disappointed, I didn't like the fact that it seemed like Dream theater played for ever. they are a good band but I was hopeing to hear more of you and more from that Great new cd you have put out.
Oh, Sorry to hear about your Pearly.
Keep on rockin Joe,
Terry

Joe,
Can't wait to see you Monday Night at Pop's in St. Louis.
Is there any thing we as fans could do to make your visit any more comfortable for you besides sending out vigalantes to retreive your stolen guitar?
I am scanning E-Bay for you buddy, if it turns up I'll call...

Hi there. I attended the show at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater on 08/21/02. Great show! Sorry about the scanvenger(s) who stole "pearly" (chrome-boy.) I hope the guitar is returned to Joe ASAP! There are some stupid people out there... I have some great pics of the show (Kings X, Dream Theatre, and Joe), and would be interested in sharing them with Joe and my fellow Satch fans. Please e-mail me back and let me know how I can get them to the webmaster for posting on this site!
Thanks,

Joe, I am so sorry that Pearly was stolen. We live in the Tampa Bay area, but unfortunately were not able to go to the show. What does "load out" mean? Is that before the concert when you were bringing all your gear in to set up for the show? We will definately keep an eye out for it. My brother has a JS1000bp and he would be hurt if it were stolen. That doesn't even compare to how you must feel. Between rainforest, and one of your donnie guitars, does this make 3 stolen guitars? How can this happen?! Isn't there some sort of security? Hopefully the guilty one will be stupid enough to sell it or will come forward. My family and I were robbed a couple years ago and one of the little scumbags was stupid enough to try and pawn over 100 CD's in one place and got caught. Is there someway to make it public knowledge to music stores and pawn shops to keep an eye out for it?

The Local Person - I'm pretty sure Joe said (in the interview) that Ibanez would let him play whatever he wanted to onstage...but he still plays Ibanez guitars all the time anyway.
ovation1 - I love Collective Soul...I've never seen them in concert, though. Who's their new guitarist? I guess he's replacing Ross?
jblaze1 - What new guitar did Joe use?
Tony Bag O Donuts - You can email them to webmaster@satriani.com and he'll put them up on the road page.
Indy - "Load out" is when the road and stage crews take everything down and load it all onto the trucks. It would be really easy for someone to take the guitar and stick it in a side room until everyone left... :-(
