Hey Jblaze1:Love the thought of two wahs lined up :-)

I know what u mean about having the wah set in one position for different tonal properties but i'm not really bothered about that. I guess if u wanted it set up likw that for a song an bit of gaffa tape would hold it in place nicely???

Stu_hacking:The Little Aligator pedal is another Steve Vai creation. It's a volume pedal clear and simple.

Ripping the webcast:There is a program called Streambox VCR and it'l save streaming video/audio u should be able to download it from somewhere, just search google. Then it's easy enough to download a program to convert it to whatever file type u want mpg, avi etc....

Whojackafibby: That is one cool picture :-) nice...

Dizzy: The coil tap on the JS guitars allows u to turn the humbucker pick ups into single coil pick ups. I think i'm also right in saying that the JS guitars contain a treble booster or something which prevents loss of the treble frequencies when the guitar volume is lowered...

Did any UK people here read the review of LISFS in "Guitarist" Magasine. They actually thought Stu WAS being booed. Man thats really getting to me.... It's NOT BOO it's STU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anybody know how easy it would be to change my shitty Lo-trs trem system to a better one, is it just a matter of taking one out and slotting the other in????

All this wonderful talk about guitar's....LOL....Whoever it was that came up with the anti-theft system (aka Lojak) for JOE's guitars was a brilliant idea!!!!

Was playing EOC in the car today........CRATS is non-stop in my head these day's!! What a perfectly made song...intro, mid and outro...The outro has got to be JOE's kuulest next to "Bells of Lal ll"!!!!!!!!!

JOE: Any chance of "Bells of Lal ll" for the tour dude?!?!?!

Peace all, /\/\ike

It is Stu not Boo: Austin....I did some checking around, and if you head over to http://www.collectivesoul.com there is some new's about Ross' departure from the band......Joel Kosche is the new guitarist for now, ("not filling Ross' shoes, but wearing his own") and it has hit them pretty hard because the band grew up together, and known each other since childhood......It's a pretty cool site BTW....

CLARKY - Thanks for the advice man, I've always tended to drift in and out of motivation when it comes to playing. This site and particularly your advice have kept me on 24 hour guitar train of thought (too bad i've got a job to do as well - lol). Keep me posted on the UK gig front, i'd like to see a pro playing 'under orders'. I'm sure i'll have more questions in time but learn the knowledge you accquire before accquiring anymore eh? I'll keep you posted on my progress and when i get something half decent down, i wouldn't mind your comments?

Joe, you know what? the problem is with your road crew. I remember when you other guitars got stolen a few years ago. Your road crew is incompetant, and I hate to be rude, but for this to happen two times in two years? It might be an inside job, or someone at the venue took it. I am sorry, that really blows. If anyone stoile my guitar I would lose my mind. It just goes to show you, you can never trust anyone these days. If I was you i would be saying to myself, "wow, I am so nice to my fans and this is what I get". But not all your fans are A-holes, like the one who stole your guitar......Anyhoo, I can't wait till your show in boston, hopefully I get to meet you again! Be cool.....Shout out to Matt King....

I'm very sorry to hear that your guitar was stolen. Particulaly as it was one of your favourites too. From all at Percy Prior's (Salisbury U.K.) We hope your guitar is safely returned soon, and that some very bad karma befalls the evil person who stole it.

XCrystal PlanetX - I hav vcr. The crack worked for me. What you do is unzip the crack and run the file that is unzipped. What happens is when you go to register, you just put in fake info and it opens the program. I usedit to get the Vai Satriani Harmony Hut jam. It worked fine. It might only do .rm or .ram but I am not positive.

HERE I GO AGAIN ON MY OWN, GOING DOWN THE ONLY ROAD I'VE EVER KNOWN.

Sorry, I was feeling a bit eighties when I woke up today. Nothing like a little Whitesnake rehash in the morning to get you feeling Snakey, or white. You pick :-)

Michelle, it's been over 6 weeks since my last smoke, give or take a day :) Yeah, I grew up on my mom's 8-tracks, she was into CCR, The Rolling Stones, Paul Simon etc....I heard Black Dog at a friends house when I was 12 or 13. It's funny because that album was already 15 years old by that time...lol...I thought that was the coolest song on the planet.

Here is a fact for anyone who's interested since there has been discussion on wah's and such...

On Stevie Ray Vaughan's song "Soul to Soul", he uses two wah's at the same time (not rocking the pedals in unison), but setting one to a specific tone and using the other for the wah effect. Also, one of the wah's he used for that song was previously owned by Jimi Hendrix. That certainly must have added a degree of inspiration :)

I pick snakey.

Naso, whoever stole Joe's guitar was NOT a fan. A fan wouldn't do that to an artist. A fan would be the one who does an el-cabong over the theifs head and returns to guitar to it's proper owner.

Dave, we had Jimi, Janis, Rare Earth, CCR, Black Sabbath, The Who, Iron Butterfly (one of my fav songs is still In-a-gadda-da-vida - think I'll play it now :), Cream, ect....albums out the wazoo! Congrats on 6 weeks :)

On a sad note, yesterday was the day the world lost S.R.V. On a happy note, it's also the day Alex Lifeson was born, and a a note that probably only matters to Pee-Wee fans, yesterday was Paul Reubens 50th birthday.

Drum solo is coming up....ahhhhh, love it!!!
