Hello all and What's up Joe. Just a note to re-identify myself. I am also Shiloh2000. Shiloh2000 is my "work" handle, but I couldn't remember my password, and to request it would send the email to work. SO, I loaded up at home. So, to all the closet guitar Gods, Shalom. Glad to be able to converse with true 'people'. Satch is the shiznit, and so are his fans.

Rok on Joe. Think I have found my axe, I'll let you know. I hope Pearly finds it's way back to your hands. Peace, Love, and Happiness.

It's kinda important. Did Joe already play at Pop's Saloon in Sauget? I was really looking forward to seeing him, and I never got to, and I can't find any schedule of him on there. Call me crazy, but it sounds like he already came. Did he???

Hey Joe, i would just like to say that i saw you when you were here in toronto. I only knew a few songs you played but the others you played blew me away. I really enjoyed the song called Midnight(when the bug flew in your ear). I would like to request that you play Time Machine when you come back, i have been told that you rarely play it. Thanks again for an amazing show. - Kari (rich and eric's drummer in the videos you saw)

BUCK THE HUM!!! You bucking hum...

To all those people that keep calling Joe a god, IT IS JOE NOT GOD!!! BTW, what the heck was that Nigel Tufnel business on that video? What a weirdo.
Ovation: the Angel would be from "Julian Angel Vai" not Julian & Angel Vai. That is my understanding anyway. If Steve himself wants to tell me I'm wrong, that is fine by me.

PS Buck that hum, baby...

Oh yeah, if you want to counter-act your acidic fingers/hands, try a little baking soda on your fingers. It may take some getting used to, but it's worth a try.

BEN

PS I could have edited the above post, however then noone would really know the reason for the edit. This way, everyone knows what is additional, and that nothing was removed or changed. Who gives anyway...

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard Joe play Rubina's Blue Sky Happiness or Psycho Monkey live? Great songs. Also, For those of you learning or have learned to play some of Joe's songs. Do any of you use the Cherry Lane books? I am they seems very good unless somone has a better way.

Wooo hoooo. Way to go Mr. Nick. You're way ahead of me.

I tore into my Peavey cab today to find out what kind of speakers were in it. Well they where Peavey's but one was blown out. So... the amps gone and the cab is toast.

Vintage 30's here I come. The 5150? I don't know yet!

I'm alive but tubeless.

Hi-dy Hey, Joe! Hope everything's cool in Satch world! I thought of you as I struggled with every note TRYING to play my keyboard today-what a dork! I can't manage the most basic stuff and I'd like to play so badly! I kept thinking how incredible you must feel to be so accomplished at an instrument that you can concentrate on the expression of music without bogging down in details of trying to play it! I know I don't devote enough time, but I'm in awe of you and hope you realize how gifted you truly are!. On a different note, I was reading some fans reviews of concerts in the US leg of the tour, awaiting your Jersey show, and nearly everyone said what I've been fearing. NOT ENOUGH JOE!!! I told ya'...you'll just have to come back ALONE. I HAD to get my ticket anyway because I couldn't miss you (even if it is only 1hr. 20 mins) but it's hurting me! Song of the day...The Journey!! I can't get the middle of that song out of my head What a ride! Catch ya' later!

Roger that jblaze1! Glad we could help out bro!!....if you want something bad enough, you go get it, lol!!....JOE: jblaze1 will be your guitar bodyguard!!....I think you need one!!!!!!

Dizzy: You also get a fatter sound out of a humer whereas the single coil, as in Strat style, has a more clear high treble (at the bridge/lead p/u) and a mellowish sound @ the neck/ rythm p/u....

For Adun: Buck the Hum...lol :-)

What a way to reach post 100....Our 16th Anniversary today!! I wouldn't want to do 16 with anyone else!! Thank you honey :-) !!!!!!!!!

By the way....How's JOE's VIBRATO !?!?!?!?!

Peace all, /\/\ike

I've decided that "Belly Dancer" is my favorite off SBM.....it's in my head almost always...

Has anyone ever noticed that it does'nt matter if you like some of his songs more than others. Each song still takes you someplace better than where you are...lol

Joe seemed to have changed his vibrato, well from what I saw anyway.

It looked as if he was pullin' the circular vibratos...A personal favourite, actually ;)

Jaws: it was good to hear that your adjustment problems on your JS guitar went well. Realy good to talk to you in the chat. T2Jers: if you can't open the chat, try closing out of your browser, and just use net scape, or nut scrape, what ever. it will load like a champ after that. be sure to use the last message before you log of...or U will start back at the beginning...... I had to do an autobio for my job search class. All the old bands I started......No one famous here. Remember...guitarist go through more G strings.....just dont get your (others) hair in the tuners and U will be okay. Peace

Jblaze1:Do you have any experience with drum machines? I am ready to start recording drum tracks and I'm looking for all the tips I can get.

My BR-8 has a rhythm guide, so what ever I program my SR-16 to, the rhythm guide on the BR-8 will keep it in sync via midi cable. The only problem is I don't have much experience with that sort of thing and the owners manual isn't much help because I'm not familiar with the language.

I'm sure I could figure it out but if there is a book out there, drum programing for dummies, it would sure help. If you or anyone else knows of any good literature on drum programing or any bit of useful info, please drop me a line at hmaclean@fdn.com it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance...

michelle: Sorry to hear about your loss. I have bred and raised American Pit Bull Terries for over 20 years and I have had some of the best buddys anyone could ever have. I still get heavy hearted when I think of the ones I've lost.

There is no doubt that pets are members of our family and in some ways are better friends than our human friends. They always love us regardless.

Here is something that makes me feel better when I think about them. I know they were loved and had the best life they could ever have while they were here, and I know they knew they were loved and were as happy as they could be.

Ever since hearing Joe tease us all with his Engines of Creation introduction on the 2nd concert stream, I have been listening to that song a few times a day because I realized how much it rules. I never used to listen to that song much before, I listened to the album in general but usually skipped past that song.

Joe I want to thank you for all the hard work & suffering you go through to get your music across to all of us. I can't even imagine how much you have done over the years practicing & what not, & going through the music buisness Isn't the easiest of things either. & you are one great down to earth guy as well. I wanted to tell you how much the song Starry night has meant to me & the whole extended version you have been playing this tour is so overwhelminly beautiful it just makes me want to go outside look at the stars & practice my bass all night long. Thanks so much Joe......
