Man... a couple days off the board and the pages keep adding up and up!! Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do.

It's back to school time, so been kinda busy. How's the road treating ya Joe? Gearing up for a big show myself this coming weekend in LA. We're playing at The Whisky A Go-Go Sat. 9/14, and to be honest with ya, I'm a little nervous about it. We have some A&R reps coming out to scout the set, so we've been hitting it pretty hard in rehearsals.

I only have a few tickets left to spare, but if anyone from the LA area would like to catch our show at The Whisky A Go-Go this coming Saturday (9/14), drop me a line at rdg@san.rr.com.

Catch you guys later.

HEY EVERYONE!!! Last night the boys and I decided that Jimi Hendrix was a JW. We were in Hungry Jack's and a song came on the jukebox, and we were singing "it's all in the Watchtower...read it all in the Watchtower..." etc heh heh! (Was this before or after the "we all live in a can of Mr Sheen/tin of sardines/coke vending machine"?)

Later, BEN

Camden show was awesome! I tried to put a review up for it after I got home from the show but the website said that the show hasn't happened yet?!

Anyone know where you would go about purchasing a back stage pass for one of these shows?

Joe......I recently received a design patent for an "alien warhead" guitar pick I created. These picks are standard shape and size but have "alien-looking" eyes cut out for a cool "alien face" effect. I've been making these picks by hand, but am looking for a manufacturer to make them in larger quantities. Any suggestions? I haven't been able to get my foot in anybody's door. It seems that companies like Dunlop aren't open to outside ideas.....cool or otherwise. I realize that this is a long-shot.......but if you read this......I would appreciate your opinion on how I might get these picks into circulation.......they are cool! Thanks...... jim_parham@hotmail.com

Thanks to everyone for your kind thoughts. Musical inspiration is indeed flowing from this situation. I have been asked to carry the coffin at the funeral with the other three Grandsons, my brother and two cousins, whcih I consider to be a real honour. Thanks again for all your kind words.

Local Dude - Is that made of all those little insane phrases you have sitting around your music room? I remeber "why does my elephant taste so orangey". What a strange person you are.... :) lol

Anybody fancy checking out my mate Danny's IUMA?

hi joe, I would like to ask you again for kindly permission to use your "Satch Boogie" in my amateur film abaout paragliding. It's short clip about one flying day near my town. I would like to send my film to Extreme Film Festival in Warsaw and, if you let me, publish it in Internet. Only gratification I can get is 4000m sky-dive jump (1st prize on Festival) and publication on CD added to air-sport magazine "Przeglad Lotniczy Aviation Revue". Please download my clip from click (28 MB) and give me please an answer. Deadline of sending films on Festival was moved from end of August to end of September and I hope you'll give me an answer before this term. My email address: konciarz@o2.pl. Please let me know even you not agree to use your music. Best regards, enjoy my film :-) Arek Katnik [konciarz] Poland

guitarzbabe: lol, the Typhoon didn't knock the power out where we were at (lots of tree damage and the like though), but I had my batteries ready and was listening to EOC on the computer....It was a rush when "CRATS" came on and the wind was howling!! I put it on repeat, and it really fit :-)

LOL Michelle, congrats to your sis, and I pitty the poor man who got in front of you!! LMAO ;-)....BTW, Have fun at the show!!

masterdrummer1: Buddy Rich was da man!! Is he still alive?? (I don't remember reading anything about his passing)....I heard he was a tough guy to play with too....If someone was off key or couldn't keep the rythm up, he would kick em' out right there!! lol!....Gregg Bissonette is also a big Buddy Rich fan...So was my late Grandfather who was a professional jazz drummer....I always remember him playing on the practice pad and my jaw would just drop :-0....Always banging out a rythm at the chair or table, lol!! BTW, you might want to check out some Greg Howe, LTE (Liquid Tension Experiment....Petrucci on guitar), Richie Kotzen (great vocals as well), and some RacerX (Paul Gilbert guitar, but also lots of vocals)....Anyone else have any suggestions?? Oh, BTW, if you don't know already.......t2j'ers: mjking@iuma.com, petermulas@iuma.com, www.rickygarcia.com (or iuma.com), neilmorgan@iuma.com, paulclark@iuma.com, rhaier@iuma.com....Sorry if I forgot anyone else!!

Hope your feeling better jblaze1! Summer colds are rough....

Invigor/Get a loaf: I also agree!! The intro to FRIENDS is all it takes!! It mesmerizes you from the start and doesn't let go!!!! :-)

Peace all, /\/\ike

listening to Crystal Planet CD right now. This is probably one of my favourite Satch albums. Thanks for the info. on floyds. Now I got a new question, how come only the S540LTD gets a trem setter?? It's not fair. All Ibanez guitars should have it too! I think I'll put one on an RG570 when I buy it. Does it fit though??
