Why god
Why does god stumble in such stupid ways
Why do terrible things happen on such beautiful days
All these questions and so much more
I’m sure you’ve all asked them before
Who is god and what is his plan
Why does a woman love to fight with her man
Why do some children only live for a week
Why are others so strong yet I am so weak
Is god real who creates all these disasters
I refuse to think of them as my masters
Is he shaping the world or are we shaping it
Does anyone know, care or give a shit
When it comes to religion we are all offenders
We spoil everything here, we are truth benders
We lie hurt and kill
Then we say its gods will
We know its not right but we continue to fight
All are sisters and brothers, father’s daughters and mothers
Are all carrying on like nothing is wrong
As long as there o.k. and get by everyday
Whilst the government they follow
Take them deeper into the hollow
Feeding them full, making them part of the cull
So if there is a god why can’t he stop this
Or is this his revenge is he in a bliss
Because we killed his son his precious one
Who he gave to us all
To try and break down the wall
Of prejudice
No one’s greater than us at this
So all I ask from our god is to see his own hand
Grow stronger on earth and sort out this mad land

What can we do
You can buy a baby on the internet
You can get a virtual pet you never have to take to the vet
With our great technology you can do amazing things
You own a wap phone with ten trillion different rings
You can program all your embryos and pick the colour off your offspring
Email yourself through space and time
And have a computer in your earring
We have created super bionicle powers
We can genetically modify all our fruits and all our flowers
We can put a monkey into outer space
But we still can not change the fate off the human race
We all wish we could live a little longer
Make our children’s hearts grow stronger
Let no one be ill blind deaf or dumd
Not let some one hold any one under their thumb
Why can we not find a cure for pain
Is it because we only want what we can gain
Why cant we take a magic pill
To calm and still
A broken heart
When we think we have nearly reached the end
Are we just heading straight back into the start
Out of all these things which would you try and change
Make priority and re-arrange
Well no one can
So just try and understand
This is the world we made
And crazy science is the only thing in our own hand

Is there a heaven?
I want to find a place where all around is fair, and everyone is equal
In the next bit of my life the sequel
Somewhere with out care, with out a don’t go there
Where no one can hurt or desert me, alarm or alert me
Pull me or push me, never try and rush me
Some where with out stand and command
And do as I demand
A place with out might, a place with out spite a place with out day or night
A place where you don’t follow or continue to swallow
A place where nothing goes wrong, where no one is strong
Where no sadness glooms, no party balloons
Where there is no starving no carving
No love hate or snarling
No more I am better than you, do you know what to do
No more head in a stew
No more life
If some one knows where this is where there is no more heads in a twist
Please tell me I want your directions
How can I get into the place with out the human race help me make my resurrections
Does this place really exist, some where out in the midst
Nobody ever comes back
To explain that’s a fact
They just leave us suffering and guessing
But we are made to live on and keep having fun
And keep getting drunk
That’s the best thing

Bed of roses
Why is life for some people a bed of rose’s
Posh people look at you down there nose’s
They drink fine wine and pink champagne
They piss there money down the drain
There never ill, live in exotic places
Spend millions of pounds to have new faces
They do not pee poo or fart
They had money from the start
They eat gold food with gold forks
They really are a bunch of dorks
Let me introduce you to the other side
The place on earth that we divide
Where people die side by side
They take there suffering in their stride
They have no food if there lucky water
A family greave for there sick end daughter
She don’t wish to be pretty, she just wants to live
Hoping someone has got a miracle cure to give
She may have cancer or something worse
She will never get what she deserved
So which to choose, which side will win
I can see it in your face your lucky grin
Just be proud in all your ways
But spare a thought for the poor peoples days
If you care as much as you say
Go ahead write a check out today
But you know it won’t change a thing
So you will carry on with your grin

Twisted dreams/twisted world
Each day when I stick on the T.V
I see a world to terrible for me
I can not believe that this is real
Am I dreaming, pinch me see if I can feel
Another country another child
It seems to me the worlds gone wild
Turn it over it just gets worse
One day we will wreck the universe
People dying starving biting
Like children they just can’t stop fighting
Turn it of, ah that’s better now
Hold on a minute what’s that smell
Jump out my chair run in the street
Another old person knocked of there feet
Stabbed to death for a few pewny quid
Nobody will ever catch the kid
He will be of know in a car he stole
Crime for him in life’s his goal
But each day for me is getting worse
Good old life helped me write this verse
But I am still not convinced am I dreaming
I can still here people screaming
So pinch me hard for I cant feel
Life’s turned out to be a great big deal
Did I get a duff hand, why do I have to see these thing’s
I panic now even when the phone rings
So deal me out see if I care
I hope with all my heart there will be a peace full place out there

Chocking the earth chocking my chicken
Chocking the earth bleeding it dry
We even punched a hole in our sky
Chocking my chicken its finger licking
To the women who want it or is it my money
That’s what life is aint it dead funny
All are resources are drained
All our convicts are named
Not by there crimes but there numbers
All our fish are now dead all our people are red
Not by the sun but their slumbers
So I’m chocking the earth chocking my chicken
Trying not to get court and get a good kicking
So I continue with your ways each day I comply
A good man to the world let my life pass me by
I but organic produce straight out of the shops
But the people who produce it all kick their god in the chops
I work really hard and am always punctual
Am I bit stupid or a little dysfunctional
To let all this happen and to join in with my brothers
To help fuck up this earth just like all the others

All gods creatures
Were all gods creatures
Confused by all our teachers
Delivering us out of wrong to do right
Preaching in us by day, praying for us at night
If I was a fly who loved and lived in dogshit
I would be thought of better in this world
I would not be a misfit
If I was a slug who loved the taste of beer
I could wriggle and squirm all I liked
And be allowed to be a little queer
If I was a pigeon they could not chuck at me religion
Telling me what is right, trying to stoop me in mid flight
All gods creatures who have gods god’s features
What’s it mean to be a man who does not understand
As we grab life by the hand
As we try to get it right into the day into the night
A fly is surely happy with the way he is
He does not want to be a human being spend his life in a tiz
A slug is content but he might rather be a worm
Bout not a human being by any means
They hurt, fuck kill then burn
A pigeon just keeps living watching our world go by
Feeling sorry for us people down here he can see we never try
To enjoy all the beauties mother nature holds
To help each other on the planet not to set to many goals
We just want what we can get for all ourselves
Piling up loads of junk stacking shit upon high shelves
But were all gods creatures getting confused by all our teachers
Doing wrong to the world
But we are told that it is all right
As long as we are preaching by the day and praying in the night

God’s big questions
My head is collapsing with words and numbers
Getting them mixed up all the time and getting into slumbers
I spend my days feeling dazed and confused
Always feeling empty, lost and used
A whizzing in my brain faster than I can process
Looking at life trying to puzzle out if it’s a mess
The worlds going to fast or is it me who is to slow
All these questions burning inside of me, And when I am asked
The only reply I know is I don’t know
Where am I going where have I just been
Is life all spent out or is this a nasty dream
Who makes bouncy castles bouncy
Who makes motorways
Who made the sand the sea
And who made hard rock cafes
There’s one thing I know for sure
It bloody well was not me
My roads would have bouncy and soft
All with magical signposts you would never ever get lost
You could bounce straight out of your car,
Never get hurt or worse ever die
You could safely fall out and shout that was wicked fun
Lets have another try
All the tarmac on motorways, I would scrape out and pour in your graves
Who own the universe the moon the stars your land
Who gave you the right to die for it I will never understand
Who now owns your birthrights I would clearly love to see
There is one thing I no for sure it bloody well is not me
My land would have been shared for all
You would all own all around
You would not possess any thing
You would all be safe and sound
I would have never tought you love hate or fear
You would never need drugs or fags or beer
You would all pace along looking out for one another
Helping and understanding your fellow sister and your fellow brother
This is how it should have been
Somethings gone wrong some how
I don’t know how to sort it out I am a little busy right now
I need to get my head straight and decide whats best for you
Why I think and make up my mind
Do I lock in a cage like creatures in the zoo
I cant I love you you to much
Even though you all destroy
All off my hard work
My my world my Pride my joy

Hi
i play guitar and keyboards really lousey so i have kind of worked out tunes and melodies for my lyrics i have posted,
but i am far to lazy and stupid to do anything profesional with them ive kind of got an idea for a album called why god a sad happy world and have crazy ideas for the artwork that i dont think anyone has been daft enough to try yet,i have got about 300 songs floating around in outerspace that i dont get anytime to chuck together,so if you know any artist who might be interested in helping/working with me please let me know and i will happily fax them some more off my stuff.please reply even if you think my stuff is crap so i can go and annoy someone else,

Cockroaches.....aaack! When I was 16 I got a job at a local restaurant as a dishwasher. I finished washing some pots and pans and went to put them in a cupboard. When I opened the door about 100 of the little varmints scattered, scared the crap out of me...lol. Needless to say, I never ate there and only stayed a couple of weeks because I was starting to find them "tagging along" with me when I left for the night. Aaaack, enough about "roaches", unless they are the ones you smoke...lol
Honkey, I don't think you made your point yet....lol

Hello all!
It's been a while, thought I'd try to catch up - failed miserably.
I wish I had time to read everyone's post.
Michelle - Sounds like you had a great time at the show and your sis's comp.
JS Clone 1 - I've never experienced the kinds of problems you're having with any of my edges. I love them. I have less string life on the ones with hard tail type bridge.
Lyz - Unfortanetly, you're going to have to use a good mic into a mic pre-amp, or get a Line 6 POD. Maybe something similar. I have a POD and it's not great for effects, not bad, but not great. It IS great for "real" amp tones. I've recorded many things lately with both, real amps and my POD's emulation of them... They both sound great! There are cheaper units like the J-Station, but I did'nt care for it, just a personal taste thing. I've heard others rave on it. BTW, I use Cubase VST 32. I can't imagine my life without it. It saves me sooo much time.
gotta go,
Kell

Kel, Joe had on the coolest pair of pants Sunday night. They were kinda faded, but had some sort of design on the bottom and I think at the top. They were toooo cool! I don't usually comment on Joe's clothing, but the two things that stand out in my mind are his black shirt with the silver studded "cross" from his 2000 tour, and these pants. His smile was as bright as the sun and he was having a great time on stage. Agh! I can't believe it's over...till next time anyways. : )

Hi everyone. The roaches have taken over! There's over a thousand of them in my room right now so I have t...no, I'm just kidding. All I saw was the one roach, and with the amount of bug spray I've used in my room I don't think any will be coming back for a long time. The screen on one of my windows is bent, so I think it crawled in that way. Maintenance should fix the problem soon...I can't wait. ;-)
1989RG560 - Joe wears Oakley Eye Jackets. I'm not sure what kind of pants he's wearing on the CP cover, but I'd try to find some pants like these, they're so cool. I don't know what brand they are, though.

So much fuzz about cockroaches. I'm proud to say that in my new house I no longer have cockroach problems.
I guess the 4 scorpions we've found so far have eaten them...
Effin' scorpions!!! U know who was waiting for us when we returned from Albuquerque last month? A fu#$%!ng scorpion in the bathroom faucet! What nerve!! je,je.
Hey at least they don't jump. Yet.
Later.

Ha! I remember "Joe's Apartment" that was pretty funny I think (from memory)! If you want cockroaches, go to Queensland Australia. They are fricking huge there. One thing I forgot yesterday, I saw the real JS clone again. He was wearing black leathers and he is a dead ringer for late 80s Satch. I'm serious!!! Fluff hair and all. I saw his band playing last Wednesday. By the way, it's halfway through the 11th of September, and nothing abnormal has happened yet. I don't expect anything will.
Later, BEN

The site is cool, nearly as cool as Vai's site... Joking. I like it, specially this bit. I never saw the site, before it got changed, but from the posts of others this is alot better. I wanted to ask JS if he eva thought about an apprentiss, you know, carpenters and plumbers take on aprentisses, how about the best G on this planet. He prolly gets asked this all the time, so i dont expect an answer. Oh i missed his gig in London, herd it was good, if it was anything like the vid of San Fran it was wicked, and i was wondering if JS was coming ne where near England again, in the near future, may be even Plymouth??? Ne way the site rocks, Joe rocks even more and i look forward to chatting with many like minded people. Catch you all later, oh, Keep Sweet!

elpp - Albuquerque, eh? I have some news for you. You're a fan of The Simpsons, right? Ya know how their baseball team is The Springfield Isotopes? There was one episode in Season 12 where Homer prevented the team from moving and becoming the Albuquerque Isotopes. Well, the new minor league baseball team in Albuquerque was just named the Isotopes...all because of The Simpsons. Isn't that cool?
