KAZAM - The world sure isn't perfect and that's a fact, but how do you sort out a 'system' that is so complex.Even if every rich nation pulled together, which they don't, the effect of their efforts wouldn't be seen for decades. It would be nice to see the start of some kind of change though............. Human nature..........born to perpetuate our own extinction.

This applies to all of the people who post here. Politics, Religion & other related stuff like war is a no-no. Let's keep T2J a happy place.

Narface - fair one man, i've depressed myself just thinking about it. Music for escapism, to get away from the everyday. It would be nice if Joe posted here a little more often though!

Foradun - ah that explains that one then.

On Yngwie Malmsteem, if he said that about Joe he can shove himself up his own bottom. My son came home with a Yngwie CD the other day, the guy that gave it to him didn't like it, we didn't like it, tried to give it away at work - no one at work likes it, CD is now in the trash.

Dragonchild - buy them all.

Naty - don't you drink any alcohol at all, I quite like Cherry Brandy and lemonade, trouble is it tastes like pop so you drink more of it, makes walking about a bit difficult.

Whojack - hope you get better soon.

JOE we are missing you here on T2J. Send us a message please.

Sharon

I watched our flag go up today with a teardrop in my eye. It only went up halfway, and I just stood there and cried. Tears of sadness, sorrow, and pain flowed slowly down my cheek. I cried for the families left behind and the answers that they now seek. It's been hard this past year to mend our broken hearts. To put the pieces back together, and make a brand new start. You thought that you would break our spirit, with your cowardly attack. All you did was piss us off, and now we're fighting back. It wasn't hard to sucker punch America that day. It doesn't matter where you run, you will not get away. Now that we know who you are and what we have to do, You may as well kiss your a@@ goodbye, because we're coming after you. To those out there who wish us harm and want to do us wrong. You better give it a second thought, because America is strong. We have pride, faith, and strength of will and we won't run from a fight. We will meet you on the battlefield, and destroy you with all our might. You claim God is on you side and you serve higher powers. Well, may God have mercy on your soul because your a@@ is ours! In your defeat we will prevail, and America will sing, GOD BLESS US ONE AND ALL AND LET FREEDOM FOREVER RING!!!!

shiloh2000 Proud son of DAV!

Rock On Joe, we would like to hear from you soon.

I was listening to Malmsteen's Rising Force the other day. What struck me funny is that it states on the album credits that it was recorded on 48 tracks......It wouldn't matter even if he had a thousand tracks,it still sounds like crap!........I can't believe he said that about Joe.Some people just don't get it do they?.........HI JOE:) jblaze1

Oh yeah,I almost forgot. To those who are interested-Webmaster(jon) has replied to my e-mail about being a guitar security dude!....He was nice enough to reply & say he'll forward my message to Joe but it doesn't look good. However,I can see that it would be a little costly to hire me but it has cost Joe far more than that in stolen guitars. So everyone keep rooting for me & maybe Joe will notice all the the support for a "guitar guard"......wish me luck folks:)Thanks for the support T2J'ers....BTW, a special hello to Tomjr...........jblaze1

Stu - I'll help folks anyway I can... I'm very aware that there is plenty of poor / rogue information out there and it makes life very tough for the new guys... in fact, it's much my difficult to correct something learned wrong than it is to learn it right in the first place.... this sort of thing for me is my personal crusade for the greater good of guitar players.... If I can makes even a small difference then I'll be very happy...

akreepish - I know exactly where you're coming from... It's one thing to have all the knowledge yourself.... sticking it nicely into someone elses head is another and more tricky thing altogether... I even sometimes find that I'm questioning myself to make sure that I have my facts straight....

Psycho Monkey - You got that Malmsteen tech spec right. The 2 springs floating the bridge in the back though; for string bending, it's actually worse. You have to bend a string farther because the bridge gives forward with the increased string tension. Having a fixed bridge is actually a little nicer. There's more control over the string.

non-smoker - being hard on yourself can be a good thing in as much as you'll be constantly scrutinising your ability... the quest for perfection.... however it can be damaging... you can damage your confidence and also spend too much time striving [practicing technique] and not enough time writing / performing.... that'll just take all of the fun out of playing and make it a chore... so as well as being your worst critic... learn to be your biggest fan.... love playing and enjoy your own playing..

Guitar Guard?!!!? Great idea jblaze!! Think of the possibilities. Maybe it will catch on and other acts that treasure their axes will contract you as well. I always heard that SRV paid a guy to carry and take care of his strat. It's a really cool concept. Good luck.

Hey Joe, he may have something there!!!! You should look into it!!!!!
