PhyrDom: sorry to hear that. I was thinking maybe it was all my fault for telling you to say whatever you had to say..........aarrrggghhh!!!!!

jblaze1..yes, chocoholic(great name!) has got a point : for instance, suppose while you were guarding the guitars you were overcome with an irresistable urge to pick one up and play it....what would you do???!

Also, you realise you would have to sign the official satch secrets act & never come on here & tell the inside story.....are you sure you still want the job?!!

Hmmm.....Let me see now!....No I do not have beady eyes but they have been known to glaze over from time to time...lol...No ! I would not pick-up a guitar of Joe's & play it.What if I break it or drop it?I have my own anyway & Joe's guitars are for Joe & nobody else!....I was a security guard at a warehouse full of convicts on evening work leave.I have become used to looking at shifty eyes & klepto's.You can tell.....I am very good at keeping secrets...I could tell ya but I'd have to kill ya!..Anymore questions?..Bring 'em on!:)

jblaze1 roleplay 1: have you got a photographic memory? you go to the toilet while on duty, can you remember the exact position (and serial no.s) of each and every guitar? just in case some one switches them round.

roleplay 2: are you a good judge of character? would you assign your resposibilities to another, maybe less dedicated individual, and take the toilet break? or would you hold it in?

cheers...

Geez, why did I get bumped from the # 19 spot on the JBlaze Guitar Bodyguard petition? Oh well, you still have my vote JBlaze.....rock on!!!

Nick Lee, break a leg at your competition, I hope you take it all :)

We have a gig tonight in downtown Cook, Minnesota (pop. 600)...lol.....it's kind of out of the way for most everybody on the planet, but if you happen to be in Minnesota tonight, come on down and check it out...you too Joe :)

Edit: We'll be playing there Friday the 27th too......later, Dave

I just bought tickets (second row, left center) to see Arlo Guthrie in January. It should be pretty cool. He's playing at my school, in the same small venue (1200 seats) that I saw Jody Williams / Johnnie Johnson / Jimmie Vaughan / Bo Diddley last year.

xtremeshredder - Joe seems to do the G3 thing every other year. If I was going to guess, I'd say we'll see him do another G3 tour in the late summer or fall of 2003.

JS Clone 2 - You don't know who he is? Man, you've been away for too long. ;-)

Kinger:I do have a good memory.As far as memorizing serial #'s goes.Put it to you this way-I don't own a phone book because I remember them all...& I never forget a face..........Pulling a switch would be difficult to do when someone is looming over them.I will only leave my post when properly relieved to relieve myself..lol..I think I would have to invest in some Depends..lol...I am a good judge of character.That is what has kept me out of trouble all these years!...Hangin' with the wrong people can get you in a bind.I have a couple of ideas lurking in my mind about how to secure & make it very,very difficult to take any of them.The Blaze-O-Matic Snatcher Catcher!...lol...I've had to watch my stuff plenty.It has given me some solid possibilities....I would not trust anybody else to do my job......You know the old saying "When you want something done,You have to do it yourself".........jblaze1:~}

Austin - I recognize the name, I just can't put my finger on it (cuz it would leave a smudge on my monitor. lol)

Tapper - Is that 11:30 AM or 11:30 PM?

Whojackafibby - I've spoken to Rich daily since I got back, he just hasn't mentioned anything about this show. Actually I just borrowed his Surfing with The Alien tab book to learn a new song for the Christmas concert. I'm hoping to play Crushing Day..............................that's why I'm starting now.

PhrygianDominant: As Austin has stated, if there is anything we can do to help, let us know! Hang in there bro', once you hit the bottom, there's only one way to go....UP!! :-)

death cube k: Like kinger, I like Ovation (lol) acoustic/electric because they sound great, look great, and technology put into making them is unreal....They are the closest things to electric....Takamine' are nice and for the killer blues gotta go with a Martin dreadnought....Washburn' are awesome also!!

lol jblaze1 ;-)......I think the most difficult part of the job would be keeping track of where they all are at the same time....For ex. If they go on a jet, you get a clearance pass to go down the tarmack and watch them onload/offload....And if they don't give you a pass, they don't go on the jet....simple....You would be the lifeblood for JOE's guitars, and I know you'd do a flawless job!!! Can you hear us JOE!! :-)

Peace all, /\/\ike

Sparrow - Yeah Joe uses it. Doesn't make it better or worse. It may be a floating bridge but there are drawbacks to having locked whammy capabilities. Drawbacks severe enough for it to be forbidden by some guitar player's religions.

matt king - Are you serious!? That blows my mind because theoretically that should not be. I have an Edge and a Lo Pro myself. I'll try that sometime when I care enough about guitar again. This hand injury is getting to my brain.

I wasn't volunteering Clone 2, Austin. I said i'd ask him. You trying to get me shot here?

Clone 2's learning Crushing Day and he'll get it too. I am supposed to be learning Hordes of Locusts for the same show but my hand won't let me. Funny how things work.
