JS Clone 1 - I know you didn't volunteer JSC2, but it sounds more fun when I say it that way. ;-)

pakihaki - There isn't a bonus CD for SBM. The Eight Steps appeared on the Japanese version of the album...you might be able to find that song on Morpheus or Kazaa. Slick is still unreleased.
Invigor - I bought Reel Satriani off of Ebay as well. It should be here any day now. I can't wait.

Matt King : Happy to see that my 2springs setup thing makes you so happy ...

As for the sansamp, I do recommmend it, you can get amazing sounds with it. it just that you need time to tweak it just right.

Just got back from seeing Def Leppard. Very cool they made a stop here in Reading, PA. We always have to drive to Philly to see shows. Now I guess they're on their way to NY, then Boston. This was the first cool ROCK show here in ages!

JOE, you should stop by here on your next tour. There's a new place ~ www.sovereigncenter.com . There's not a bad seat in the house. Def Leppard sold 5000 tickets the first day. We be CRAVIN' some good music up in here!! lol! Sooo tired of seeing lame shows flash across the billboard. Come to Reading Joe!!

JS Clone 1 -- hmm seemed to work fine for me? Feels amazing and sounds like it added a touch more sustain?

Phsycho Monkey (chrispy) -- Yeah man! Thing plays even better than it did before! I think it's time for a recrowing of the frets, or even new ones! Who knows, this guitar can only get better though! Thanks again!

Later...

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm kicking myself for not being able to attend Satch's autograph session at HMV!!! Darn! I will still be in Tokyo while the rest of the HK Satch fans get to meet the guy. AHHHHH!! It really ticks me off! My only chance is to win the backstage pass... sniff...

Ovation1:It sounds to me like the problem is at the shows. The Airport question is a good one though.I would have to see how many guitars he takes with him to figure it all out.I am sure they already have a system that works well. Before,Between & after the shows is the "Red Alert Zone"......Kinger:A simple motion detector put in the right place would sound an alarm if anyone got near them when they should not be.Just as a back-up mind you.Just one of many ideas:).....jblaze1

Iambic - if you can get your hands on a copy of Guitar Techniques magazine then you'll find somewhere towards the back a pretty complete glossary of symbols and terms for notation and tab... it makes for great reference material.. if you can't get it let me know, I'll photocopy it and mail it to you...

and I quite agree that the emotional content always takes precident over the theoretical stuff.... however, the more stuff that exists in your mental tool box, then wider is the availability of things for your creative side to utilise...

kinger - many guitarists suffer with a similar problem... kind of like trying to grow a tree from the top down.... the roots are therefore not that well established so the tree as a whole is a little unstable.... it's nothing that can't be corrected though.... you should find that, as the basic principles [the roots] become more solid, some of the more advanced ideas that you've picked up along the way will begin to fall into place and make a great deal more sense...
