Just my opinion folks but the Carvin Legacy didn't sound nearly as good as what Stevie used on Passion & Warfare(Perfect Sound).I didn't like the Legacy sound at all on The Ultra Zone....Although one or two songs sounded o.k. but naaaaaaaaa!....Ovation1:Funny how things just turn out strange don't they?!!!....lol....Maybe he is watching more closely than we think???........Or....then again..........maybe not? jblaze1

HI.
You must be tired of reading messages about fan saying that your are God with guitar, but I need to say that I started listening to your music a few days ago...
I discovered your music because my bass teacher plays the guitar also and he recommends me some music to listen to like Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Steveie Ray Vaughan, Al di meola, etc...
My style of music is really different (The Cure, Red Hot...)
But you are really the best guitarist I have EVER listened to.
You really rock!
Strange Beautiful Music is a piece of art.
You have a new fan right now :)

ovation - yes I absolutely agree... use all fingers... when this stuff is 'automatic' it really helps with accuary especially at higher speeds...
r6rocker - I've not spoken to David for a while as I'm really focusing on getting ready for JemFest UK in 2 weeks time.... and may the Gods of Shred smile on me that day......
JSC1 - are you missing my point a little here?? # : ) ..... to learn all diatonic modes and the natural minor everywhere on the neck in any key you only have to learn 7 fingerings.... then a little math..... so by learning as many as possible means learn 7 different fingerings... not much to learn really.... especially when you think of all the music that this unlocks...

Joe, Just wanted to thank you for the autograph session you did back August 10th at the Wherehouse in Hollywood. I was there with my daughter. Later on that day the entire family (6) saw your incredible performance at the Greek Theater. We look forward to your next performance in the Los Angeles area...hopefully November or December of this year...Take Care. German.

Hey Satch, just wanted to say that "Mind Storm" is one of the best songs you've ever written. The new album is great!
Any chance you might hook up with Microsoft to put "Mind Storm" in the ads for "Halo 2" next Christmas? (XBox)

tapper5: please try to stop worrying, and chill out..... all *will* become clear, wherever it's from it doesn't matter, but all will become clear, i promise. Take it one step at a time.
Chill man, and more important than that shout if you need help!!!!!! (just like you did!!!!)
Did you read Clarky's intro? if not page back a little, it might help. But as I say, SHOUT for help - otherwise peeps won't know you need it :-)

Hi everyone...
Clarky - So there is an "H" in music? I had no clue...LOL.
Jam007 - That show was never officially released.
sparrow - That looks awesome. I'll explain how to use the links in my next post.
tapper5 - Next, you should try to use the same fingering pattern on different parts of the guitar neck. Instead of starting on C, try starting on A or G. You'll see that you use the same pattern, but the notes will be different (look at some of the past stuff that Clarky has posted here)...
PhrygianDominant - That link didn't work. :-(
Edit: Ok, it works now...LOL. I wonder if Joe knew about the auction...maybe it isn't worth that much to him for some reason (although that would shock me).
...Austin...

For sparrow, and anyone else that doesn't know how to use links on Talk To Joe...
If I explain how to type everything, my examples will show up as links...and that won't help anyone. So, for my examples, I will use {}s instead of []s. When you do them on your own, use []s.
To create a link to http://www.google.com/ where the clickable text is the web address, do the following:
{link}http://www.google.com/{/link}
It will look like this:
http://www.google.com/
To create a link to http://www.google.com/ where the clickable text is the message "click here", do the following:
{link url="http://www.google.com/"} click here {/link}
It will look like this:
click here
Of course, you can substitute any web address for http://www.google.com/, and substitute any word(s) for "click here". And again, remember to use []s instead of {}s.
Does that make sense?
...Austin...
