Scalloped fretboard allows very light touch , almost no effort to make a note ring clean. But it makes it a lot harder for bends and power chords. Barre chords are usually easier to lay down with that kind of fretboard though.

21 frets is the standard stratocaster board, and mister Malmsteen says he likes the standard thing. anyways he puts some very light gauge strings in the highs, and 46's in the bottom AFAIR, and the tremolo sits only with 2 springs placed in arrow shape, which makes bending as easy as putting ur finger in butter.

Yngwie, well, I could go on and on about how I think he has *some* cool stuff but he thinks he's the best and that makes him suck...

If he didn't have such huge ego, he would probably be a very nice person to work with, but he had a tough life (seriously) and he's a hard ass with everybody because of that.

He doesn't want to listen to anything except classical music... and once an interviewer made him listen to some Joe, and his comments were "the bends are gross, the sound is awfull, it's typical of a guitar hero wannabe" ....

enough said.

Joe, I can't wait to see you again, this time in tokyo !! maybe i'll get some kind of record of who saw you on the more continents or sumtin ;)

Bartleby : The site is www.serlui.nl, but, thiscompany does not sell ibanez guitars directly to customers. It just sell guitars to stores, and I think just for Holland and Belgium. I you ask a store in Spain to order for you a guitar in Holland, I'm not sur they'll do it !! The best way, I think, it's trying in France. I know in France, there's a problem for the moment, there's no importer for ibanez guitars anymore. It was like this 3 weeks ago (I tried to get a JS1000BTB in France, but I couldn't..). Ask a store in Spain to order it for you in France when a company will be in charge to import Ibanez. Otherwise, try www.ibanezrules.com, great site. But your guitar is coming from USA if you order it on this site.

Joe, Hi. Sorry to hear about Pearly. Perhaps a bigger reward would get it back for you. How about a collection on this forum ? I would certainly donate 10-20 $ to the cause. Regards, Ged

Just a small comment to all af you americans. First of all; 9/11 was a tragedy for America and for the rest of the western countries (including Norway where I live). But this happened for a reason. I'll admit that the reason is not good enough to kill thousands of people, but still there's no denying the fact that many countries suffer as a direct or semi-direct consequence of the life you americans (and us norwegians) lead. In Africa more people are dying from hunger and epidemics every week than was killed in New York on 9/11. This is why I react to messages in this forum talking about humanity and peace.

My point is, for the first time the battlefield has been brought to USA instead of USA bringing the battlefield to some other, poorer, part of the world.

For the Afghans, or indeed any other country that experiences loss of innocent people, their tragedy is just as big as yours. However they do not have the worlds biggest warmachine at their disposal.

I'm just hoping people will try and get the bigger picture in the world.

Condolances on 9/11, Kazam

KAZAM - The world sure isn't perfect and that's a fact, but how do you sort out a 'system' that is so complex.Even if every rich nation pulled together, which they don't, the effect of their efforts wouldn't be seen for decades. It would be nice to see the start of some kind of change though............. Human nature..........born to perpetuate our own extinction.

Foradun - ah that explains that one then.

On Yngwie Malmsteem, if he said that about Joe he can shove himself up his own bottom. My son came home with a Yngwie CD the other day, the guy that gave it to him didn't like it, we didn't like it, tried to give it away at work - no one at work likes it, CD is now in the trash.

Dragonchild - buy them all.

Naty - don't you drink any alcohol at all, I quite like Cherry Brandy and lemonade, trouble is it tastes like pop so you drink more of it, makes walking about a bit difficult.

Whojack - hope you get better soon.

JOE we are missing you here on T2J. Send us a message please.

I watched our flag go up today with a teardrop in my eye. It only went up halfway, and I just stood there and cried. Tears of sadness, sorrow, and pain flowed slowly down my cheek. I cried for the families left behind and the answers that they now seek. It's been hard this past year to mend our broken hearts. To put the pieces back together, and make a brand new start. You thought that you would break our spirit, with your cowardly attack. All you did was piss us off, and now we're fighting back. It wasn't hard to sucker punch America that day. It doesn't matter where you run, you will not get away. Now that we know who you are and what we have to do, You may as well kiss your a@@ goodbye, because we're coming after you. To those out there who wish us harm and want to do us wrong. You better give it a second thought, because America is strong. We have pride, faith, and strength of will and we won't run from a fight. We will meet you on the battlefield, and destroy you with all our might. You claim God is on you side and you serve higher powers. Well, may God have mercy on your soul because your a@@ is ours! In your defeat we will prevail, and America will sing, GOD BLESS US ONE AND ALL AND LET FREEDOM FOREVER RING!!!!

shiloh2000 Proud son of DAV!

Rock On Joe, we would like to hear from you soon.

I was listening to Malmsteen's Rising Force the other day. What struck me funny is that it states on the album credits that it was recorded on 48 tracks......It wouldn't matter even if he had a thousand tracks,it still sounds like crap!........I can't believe he said that about Joe.Some people just don't get it do they?.........HI JOE:) jblaze1
