Bill - I'm most likely going to plug it directly into the computer ;)
As for the pod...yeah, I always use it live (it sounds excellent...others disagree, but I have v. 2.3.....am I starting to sound like Dr. Seuss?)
And about the pod floor boards...there are only two you can use with it. They connect by network chords (With the telephone type ends) and the boards are only made by line6.

Joe! Saw you twice this week... Tuesday Sept 10 and Last night Sept 14... The first show i saw you was at the Oakdale theater in Wallingford, CT which is only up the road from me... The accustics at Wallingford theater were very strange....But at Jones Beach it sounded unbelievable........ I took my dad for his 50th birthday to see you, and my friend who has never heard your music before... He was truely amazed, as was I...Everytime i see you, you amaze me...Everytime you come out this way on the East coast, or if I'm traveling out on the west coast, you can count on me being there for sure! I listen to your music EVERYDAY while i work.... and play some of your songs myself ;) Well, thanks for the show Joe.... Truely amazing.

Yep! Nick Lee! Actually the connectors on the floor boards are the same as a network cable input for a local area network! If your chord was damaged in anyway, instead of ordering one through Line 6, you could actually go to your local computer store and ask for a network cable!
I have the "Line 6 Spider 212" combo amp! and I love it! The "TubeTone" speakers are absolutely amazing and at any volume setting...infact the louder it is... the better! :)

The Line 6 212 is a great amp. 100watt twin 12's if i'm not mistaken? I find they are more versatile with the clean tones than the distorted. When I say distorted, i'm talking heavy metal distortions. It's a very nice, very rounded amp.
As for it's tube tone emulation, I never bothered to really listen carefully for that. I guess it just sounded good enough for me not to care too much.

JBlaze for g(uitar)sec(urity) manager!!! Sharon: I was listening! I do pay attention... Mr Nick (& xxxCrystal Planetxxx) some people read everything on here, and some people read most of what is on here, but most people don't have the time for that. Sometimes if you disagree with someone and you don't want to annoy people you keep your mouth shut, but sometimes discussion IS required. Somebody mentioned that subjects that affect everyone shouldn't be taboo or ignored. Just my 2 grand worth...
Yeah, I suppose on top of the non-reading of everything is the fact that some people don't read the replies to their questions even if they are answered many times. You all know what I'm talking about here... I understand the age requirements for drinking alcohol being in place because it is assumed that people are responsible enough to keep themselves from causing trouble once they reach a certain maturity, however this assumption is FAR, FAR from correct.
Signing off, BEN
PS bring on G11!!!

Mr Nick, I read about 95% of the stuff on here, but there's no time to check every link or answer every question. The longer your here, the more ppl. will talk to you. Nobody's ignoring you. Sorry if you feel that way. How's driving going?
Tapper5, check www.cduniverse.com - they might have it?
Nick Lee, a very belated congrats on your musical thingy thing.

hey joe. i hope your doing good.
your the best man. i enjoyed seeing you at dallas (grand prarie , TX). i was the last person you talked to before you got on your bus. We got to talk quite a bit and it was a memory to last a lifetime.
I hope you enjoy the cd i gave you with 4 of the songs off my album.
As i told you then, you have given so much to me by your music. and i just wanted to return the favor and give a little bit of that inspiration back to you and just say thanks.
later.

Mr. Nick.
Wecome to the club.
I posted a link to where my music is to get other's opinions. Ya know, to learn from the criticism. I know I am not up to the caliber of most of the people on this site but, that's why I left myself wide open to the criticism. I got one reply "sounds cool" and that was it.

im so glad that i got to watch the webcast. most of it was pretty cool. my only opinion is joe if you put out another video make it of songs that weren't on the first. hearing songs like why and crushing day was just so awesome. part four i thought was pretty boring because they were all lisf songs. that's all. rehearsal was pretty cool too.

it's interesting that though SBM probably had the most layered guitar out of all of JS's albums, there was less of two guitars simultaneously during the tour than the last one. Galen Henson wasn't playing in all the songs, and when he was, it was pretty much always the rhythm part. For instance, in Oriental Melody, te little break where you get that addictive very high guitar tune, with a kind a counterpoint bit underneath, Joe played the counterpoint, and there was no high melody. I'm sure if Eric Caudieux had been in the band, they'd have had both bits. And on Devil's Slide, during the big fat C maj 13th chord thing, he was playing single notes rather than semiquavers, unlike eric who plays the full thing.
You could probably go on making the comparisons all day, but in LSF there was more interplay between guitars than this tour.

SBM tour was one of the best sounding tours I think to date...Galen and Matt in the Rhythm section...man they were so freakin tight! And Jeff...always dead on where he should be. And we all know about Joe...does this guy ever miss that chance to have a moment with the guitar? All in all, I am blown away...
Great tour...when's the next? :)

Hi Joe, I love Strange & Beautiful Music - you're the best!!! I'm so impressed by your Live in San Francisco DVD its really awesome for someone like me who did not have a chance to watch you live and it's much better than your cool G3 DVD - THANKS JOE!!!
I'm really sorry and sad that you had a very bad concert experience when you, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and your crews were in Malaysia as part of many musicians playing in the RentakAsia Concert - but I hope that you will consider bringing your concert to MALAYSIA for the sake of the thousands of your fans in Malaysia and it is my dream to experience your performance and your beautiful music live in concert once in my lifetime.
Thank you for sharing your talent and music with the world :) Chris
