drafter37 - That's disgusting!
NonSmoker - Everyone always says that the salt will make it taste terrible. I haven't tried it yet, though. I have both items (Cheez-Its and milk) here in my dorm, so I'll try it sooner or later. I'll let everyone know when I do...LOL. ;-)
JS Clone 1 - I ated the purple berries!

drafter37, reminds me of one of my wasted chef episodes. I made an egg sandwich with spaghetti sauce on top & garlic salt (maybe it was g. powder?). It was the best thing I ever ate!! I tryed it again when I was straight and it was awful! lmao!! I still remember how good it was that night though...
Cheez-Its & milk? Um, no thanks. However, I do have a box of Cheese-Its at my left hand, and a glass of wine at my right hand. Now THAT'S a good combination! 240 mg of sodium per 27 crackers. My Ass Become Wide :)
locust7, that sounds NASTY! I'll take your word for it.

Hey there
Is there any way you can reschedule the nov. 24th show in Vancouver? The house of blues has a 19+ age limit. I can't get in until the next day cuz it's my birthday. What a bummer huh?

Ya Yo Gakk - The Bone Bash III is a concert for the 107.7 The Bone radio station in San Francisco. It's just a one-off thing...it's not a tour or anything. Joe will do his own set...although I bet he jams with some of the other musicians as well.

hey guys,
good : cornflake sandwiches, basset's wine gums...
bad : green vegetables...
i've never been brave (or drunk) enough to try strange food combinations...
clarky : i can relate to the karate story... i've been training karate/kung fu/kickboxing for over 15 years... teaching for a large portion of that ... its very difficult to explain to new students that basics are the THE most important part of training... bad basics leads to even worse advanced techniques... the same applies to guitar playing (i'm understanding that better now!) or almost anything that we can learn in life...
cheers...
P.S. ... you never really know something until you have done it at least 100,000 times... my instructor about 15 years ago...

Hehehe... i am sorry for that 'premature salivation' part...hehehe...but what do you think i felt when i was sitting here at work, with a nice ibanez M100C case filled with all that beauty !!! i felt like running of, quitting my job and trying to find the nearest amp!!!
But ok, follow up, allthough it's not what i hoped it would be....no no no, don't be afraid....the JS1000WH is the best thing i could imagine happening to me....the sad part was that i almost didn't have time to play when i got home !!! i had a deadline working at home, so the case was open so i could peek inside every minute or so...
But i did plug it in....and oh man, what a joy...what a sound, what a feel, so much more sustain than my JS100....the neck....i start to drewl when i think about it again....i simply love this guitar....hopefully when i come home tonight i will have all evening to play it again.....but for the time that i did play it yesterday, it was absolutely amazing !!!
so...did this help ??? no premature ending this time....

Kinger - if you look back to my G-everywhere exercise post, you'll note that I stated that I pratice it at slow and moderate speeds, not flat out..... slow does not mean easy, fast does not automatically mean hard.... and this exrecise covers the entire neck, makes you change positions and it's plain tough to play well at any speed... if you're scrappy slow, like you pointed out, you'll import that scrapiness into your higher order techniques.... so at low speeds you'd be looking for good timing, even tone and volume, abolute note duration, slight accenting of the 1st semi quaver in the group of 4... etc... funnily enough, the more advaned a player you become, the tougher this exercise becomes.... it really is very hard to play well... but very good for you too...

Clarky:I really, really, really beg to differ but I have an '88 Ford Mustang that just turned 200,000 miles on the "original motor"....It did a 1,100 mile trip practically non-stop from Maryland to Florida after 200,000.Pretty damn gutsy I thought.Another 5,000 since I've been here.I would drive it to California if need be(guitar guard)...Anybody want to place a wager.I won the first bet that it wouldn't make it to 200,000 from 170,000.I am $500 dollars richer. He didn't want to go double or nothing......sorry man:)Ford's Rule!..jblaze1 Hi Joe

Hi Joe
Hi all the crew
I'm a italian student, a 16 years old student, and I have a great passion for guitar. I start studying classical guitar at 10 years old, when what I listened was only mediocre artists, and when I tried to mould music only by my voice. But as the years passed, i found in myself a great talent in playing guitar. Then my critical spirit matured, and I abandoned last myths to looking for others... my searching is ever and even now in force, but I can say that You, dear and superb Joe, You'll remain in my musical heart forever, 'cause you've inspired to take in hand a true electric guitar... and my soul feels free when my fingers touches the strings, 'cause they're not guided by my mind... but by my soul, like it's in the strings when they hurl... and for that I won't never thank you enough, my Master... now, I know that the language of the music can say many things, but I need an advice... in your opinion, a talented (I don't know if it say so... I'm not very expert of the language!) guitar player... what can he do to become someone?
Thank you for listen to me and for all the things I just said.
P.S.:if possible, can't you do a concert here in Italy? It's a nice, nice place... please... ;-)
