I wouldn't mind seeing Joe in Australia either.
I would even fly to the eastern states to see him. Good excuse for some time off wouldn't you say!

Austin/Matt King - Every piece of hardware, every hardware config, every piece of software, it's only likely some will conflict with eachother in one way or another in any form. Some software or hardware may be the best or worst thing depending on your system.
Ever wonder where the phrase "I hate computers." Came from? Look no further.
Ovation1 - New Outlook? Yeah i'd say 'cept my hand won't let me play. I can't cut a break.
Drafter - I sometimes have the same shut down problems.

Joe,
I am a twenty year old aspiring guitarist. I am wondering if you could tell me one thing that you think made you the level of guitarist that you are today?

Joe, thanks for finally coming to Idaho! Eric Johnson played the big easy last Spring, otherwise I've had to drive to see you play solo or with guys near you caliber. I drove to the Chronicle Pavillion on the recent show you had there with Dream Theater, again the year before to Reno for G-3. Already got my tickets for Nov 21st, YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any plans on another G3 tour? Chris

Invigor - What the... that message needed more clarity in the == section.
You know what cracks me up? When people take Honda's like civics namely, which is a small engined, compact economy car and try to pull as much power out of it as possible. They end up sounding like blenders, having horrible mileage and still lack power behind a simply larger engined car.
Hell look at VOLKSWAGEN A little 1.8 Litre Turbo engine puts out 180hp.

JS Clone -- this is true...but when more than 85% of your software does not function properly with the OS, there is definitly a problem hehe
Anuj -- Yeah, winME worked great with SONAR 2.0...but anything else, yuck! hehe

Yes, regardless though, Windows is horrible. All Windows OS up to XP corrupted themselves internally with use. It was unavoidable.
Basically Windows was a really complex shell for DOS.
Then they came out with the first REAL Windows OS, WinXP and it's compatible with very few things and all the while they solved many of the old Windows problems, they made twice as many new ones.
Way to go Microsoft!
Matt - Cal - DOS?
Invigor - Joe left for Japan several days ago.

About windows millennium. I use it on my PC, or I should say it came with it installed. It works fine except that it's not fond of games, especially Diablo II. Even if I shut down all the un-neccessary programs that are running, it still freezes up. I gave up trying to play it a long time ago. Anybody have any ideas of what I might be overlooking?
Death Cube, have fun with the new UV777.....(used, but new to you) You could have picked up a nice brand new JS-1000 for that kind of bread. Oh well, to each his own :)
Joe, watch the sushi, it will rot your guts if it's not fresh. You don't need a case of the "trots" while you are trying to play....lol

ACTUALLY...clone1, NT was quite stable, i never use NT until I got windows 2000, then i was in love...stable as a rock..
if you didn't know, xp is win2k with a few more things added in, such as a HUGE plug and play list, and a few more visual effects, but other than that win2k and xp are identical under the skin..so all in all, winnt was the first real operating system out...with a GUI..DOS 5 was quite stable too.

hey all,
I just realised that the LA date for the tour is at House of Blues and that it's 21 and over to attend. What's up with that?? I thought Joe didn't like the age restrictions on his shows??
