the forgotten pt II really is a beautiful song. from the first few notes of the solo, you can tell he is REALLY feelin' the song. even though the solo is pretty shreddy, there is so much emotion in it. i can't get enough!
okay.. here's this week's poll:
Which Satch song is the best to listen to while driving?
I nominate "One Big Rush", but i think "Back to Shalla-Bal" is also great to listen to. what do you guys think?

JS Clone 1, happy 350th.....don't feel bad, I did'nt get any recognition at my 100th post (like it really matters).
Phrygian Dave, happy 300th....
Last nights gig went really well......we played at the local American Legion for a benefit raffle they were putting on. They were raffling off cash prizes. My ex-wife and her boyfriend (who happens to be my bass player..weird huh?) left the place with almost $600 cash.....it was pretty sickening considering I just mailed out her child support only hours earlier. Oh well.....HEY!! I won a bird feeder!! Yahoooo!!!!

I think Crystal Planet is the coolest song to drive to, so much energy comin outta that one, but then you could be going for a slow drive looking at all the scenary and want to pop in clouds race across the sky. all I know is that joe rules.......

Thanks for the birthday wishes gang! :-) Freaky And What?!?! LOL
Hay Rich, that 350 reminds me of Chef's parents in South Park (the Loch Ness Monster episode)... "tree fiddy!" "i gave him a dollar" "you gave him a dollar? well no wonder he keeps coming back! Damn tree-fiddy Loch Ness munchies!!!"
OK I think I should go now ROFL. Later all, Dave, and happy Xth to you all :-)
EDIT: Non Smoking Dave: a bird feeder? Some places here in Blighty call that a credit card ;-) ROFL Well done (I think!) on your win, and yes - it's weird about the ex!!! One time I offered my (still-then) wife's new boyfriend a lift home!!!

My favorite song to drive to is Through the Never by Metallica. It makes me feel like Speed Racer! lol! How many ppl. just had the words "go Speed, go!' cross their minds? LOL! Oh well, I did :) My fav. Satch song for driving is The Extremist :)
Gotta watch my speed though. Around here, if I'm doing 50 mph I'm speeding. lol! It's dangerous music mon!
Go Rusty!
