I have the same problem. I'm in a new job, and I resisted the temptation for 7 weeks...then today I gave in, & had 7 weeks to catch up on.............! How to explain those hours away!

Chocoholic, I don't even know if I can use my new feeder, the owner of the building is "bitching" because he says it will attract mice. Makes sense I guess....but I've already seen one or two in the garage. Oh well, the guy is 86 years old so...I'm not going to "dis" him......lol
It's supposed to be a talk forum for Joe and his music and I'm talking about my dumb birdfeeder.....heh heh
Hey Joe, I bought my tix for your show in December, now I'm really pumped......

Hi everyone. I should be studying for a midterm right now, but I guess I'm taking a break. :-) LOL...
Dizzy282 - I think that guitar stuff is in the Archive Vault section of this site.
drafter37 - The Giants suck! Go Angels!
PhillyPhan - Too late...I already mentioned that a few weeks ago. ;-)
The crippler - As others have mentioned, the "Bay Area" is San Francisco and the surrounding cities.
chocoholic - A rimshot is the thing you hear drummers play (usually two hits on the snare drum and one on a cymbal) after a joke in a comedy club.

DeathCube K - The Whammy scream before the solo. It's a multi open string harmonic dive right? Ohhh yeah. Expect that in the video i'll have from rehearsals.
Phryg Dom - Haha yeah, I was laughing as I thought of it. Call it a stroke of genius.
So anyways, every second day I get up at 7am, spend 15 minutes getting ready to go to work, walk to work (35 minutes roughly), and go on call - plumbing. Today was did bathroom renos and I got home at 6pm. Yes, walked home aswell. I went to bed right after my shower and 1:30hr later, I don't know know what day it is. I'll wake up tomorrow thinking it's 1999 probably.

Just because I bet everyone has forgotten: JBlaze for Joe's-guitar-looker-afterer-guy!!!
Yesterday I mentioned the tape I had for in the car, but I got one wrong. There was no "hordes of locusts". There was however the following that I forgot:
why
the mystical potato head groove thing
luminous flesh giants
flavour crystal 7 (from additional creations)
echo (from time machine)
devil's slide
also good driving songs.

drafter37 - I'm pretty sure Joe's a Yankee fan. He's probably going for the Giants in the World Series, though, just because he lives closer to them and has played the anthem there and stuff.
Dave Mc - I was wondering the same thing myself...LOL. I guess by offering a different guitar they'll attract more people that don't want a signature model guitar.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Stupid US only competitions. They are more common than commonsense, yet they appear on sites you would think were international, and nowhere on that stupid page did it say US only.
What a crock.
At least the setlist competition was international. Pity I didn't win it though...
Later all...BEN
PS I want bootlegs!!! I have no bootlegs...I can't get any bootlegs!!!
I know myself that any performer would want a recording of all his gigs, it's just the legal bums that complain about the bootlegs.

Tapper 5 You can make the modes in the manner that you describe, but here the difference is probably going to be phrasing more than the actual note structure.
For example, G-Major (Ionian) is G A B C D E F# G
A-Dorian is A B C D E F# G A
Now they're the same notes, but when you think of G-major when you're playing....it sounds like G-Major. When you're playing in terms of A-Dorian it sounds like A-Dorian - you will accent different notes and a whole new sound will come out. Here's a perfect example...If you have a song that is in G-Major and you have a lead break over an A-minor chord (the second chord in the key), you can use the A-Dorian scale over that which will give you a great ladder to return to your G-Major - but only if you think of those notes in terms of A-Dorian. Hope I haven't confused you even more!

Austin, actually a rimshot is when the drum stick strikes both the pad of the drum AND the rim at the same time. it is REALLY loud and quite hard to master and do every time. sorry -- i thought i would be a jackass and correct you. heh heh.
