Howdy Joe! Myself and many local fans would love to see you come and play a show in Salt Lake City. I don't ever remember a Satriani show stopping in Salt Lake. There is a killer facility at the University of Utah--Kingsbury Hall that would be a perfect location with excellent acoustics ,as it was once home to the Utah Symphony. Both Eric Johnson and Jeff Beck have played there during the last couple of years. We need a Satch show! Let me know, I'd be happy to help with the arrangements.

Invigor, i know Tears in The Rain. if you need help with it, ask me. it's not too hard. it's a very emotional song when you are sad or depressed about something. love that song. That song is really what came to my rescue when my good friend went out with the girl i loved... drummers. of course. it's a beautiful song... aptly named.

Hey Satchaholics

Hey peeps I was looking thought some old total guitar mags and i came across one with a satch riff in it with a backing track, and it was called Surfing In A Summer Dream?????????? what the hell is that all about, I think it was just a example of satch's playing, I think we should have a lot more satch in Total Guitar and less Shite bands, what do you guys think?????????.

Joe--------On a live set do you use an effects loop or do you go straight from the guitar into your peddels and striaght into your amp?

Cheers Dave

tears in the rain is a great song.

I play it when I'm feeling down or lonely.

There are some tricky stretches, but it's not a difficult song to pick up. When I'm in an energetic mood or very happy I play midnight or Headless horseman - I love that two hand tapping!!!

xcyrystalplanetx..i already have the formula one song...

njbeast...guitar mags usuaully make a fun title made from the artists previuos songs...guitarist mag suggested a title for the new album as : "flying through a blue aliens dream on a crystal surfboard" maybe joe should call his greatest hits cd that title. (hint hint nugde nudge(in Joes direction)....) :)

Fridge Ian Dominant ;-) lol. GRRRR! I'm really stuck now. I just got back from my local guitar shop and i had a go on that Marshall AVT50head which i've been looking at for a while and i absolutely love it! I am soo stuck now. I'd like to get the Marshall because i love the sound and i REALLY need a new amp, but i'd also like to get the Behringer V-AMP2 because i've heard many good things about it and i really want to get into the MIDI recording business. But the problem is i can only get one of the two. What to do?!?! lol I think if i got the Behringer and i wanted to record onto my pooter i'd have to upgrade it a bit because its getting a little old now. I've got a (shite) pentium 2 (350mhz!! argh!!) and 8.6 gb of memory, so i think if i wanted to record some stuff onto my pooter i'd have to spend some more money on getting a bigger hard drive...lol i've kinda drifted off now into pooter land. Anyway, i dunno what im gonna do! Oh well, still 11ish shopping weeks leaft till chirstmas to decide lol..........Joe Rules....

Hello fello Satch fans. I hate shameless self promotion, but I don't know any better place to find people who love guitar music. I have five instrumentals at TEXT I would like as many people as possible to give my stuff a listen and tell me what you think. I also have music on my website www.chrispeters.net if you want to check that out. Thanks fellow Satch fans! Later.

OCPS470 - Funky Munky - AWESOME! I loved that backing! Was funky! I loved the melody. Was played very very well. As good as one could expect to hear. I love that track.

For Danny - A lovely ballad. Also very nicely played and a wonderful composition.

Act of Desperation - Absolutely beautiful. A flowing, full sound. The melodies come in and fade out so nicely. Mysterious sounding with that kind of electronic percussion. A very fitting solo.

TO EVERYONE - http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/180/oliver_chris_peters.html

This guy is awesome.

OCPS470 - Amazing man. I love your music. Please let us know when you get more up.

Feel free to check out my music and clips aswell?

http://richardhaier.iuma.com - mp3's (just some crappy demos)

http://yngvaitriani.tripod.com - video clips, just some technical examples of my playing.
