Hey Joe,

Sorry about PEARLY. I thought the name was Chromeboy; or something. Anyways I obviously would contact you if I heard anything about your guitar, and hopefully you'll find the information your looking for. Sow how are the Bissonette Bros. doing? I hope to have a chance to hear from you through my own private e-mail address at,...bluepowder777@aol.com.

Aside from all the other things I had to say up above,...I have been a fan of yours for about 12 years now. And I can't seem to download any of your movie/video clips through anything. Once I did through the "MOVIE PLAYER" and you were talking to the camera guy while Stu Hamm was sitting next to you. I couldn't hear the Audio though. Hey I painted one of my Ibanez's (RG 329)Graphite Grey; with a Silver Metallic paint pen ; like you did your old Black JS' - it looks pretty kool. I named it "ORION" - maybe you can use that name for your new ALBUM title. You know? the belt of ORION - located somewhere in the Palean Galaxy. See ya Atrayu

Andre : je suis vraiment navré que des trucs comme ça arrive... mais il semblerait que c'est inévitable... en tous les cas, je te remercie encore pour ta gentillesse et je te souhaite le meilleur pour l'avenir. cheers.

hurricane stew - i could barely agree less about Joe's music - everyone who listens to any particular piece of music has a different experience listening to it. Now since I only discovered Joe with EOC, this might help the fact that i liked it. But it took me quite a while to like it, and it's probably my favourite still- plus all my favourites are the post extremist albums- But, as far as I'm concerned, play "lights of heaven" live and do whatever you like in the rest of the setlist.... it's kinda like that saying "love God and do what you like"

dragonchild- entirely agreeing there on principessa. I really love it too. AS soon as you mentioned it it went into my head (without listening to it) and it's on repeat plasy at the moment. It's like music at the end of a Bond film, almost- however my favourite is blood and glory (it would be, I am from England)

Which reminds me... who likes fawlty towers?

For the record I didn't find the original posts offensive (thats just my perspective), the presence of orange text doesn't mean anything to me and i'd hate to see anybody leave here because a difference of opinion got out of hand.

I seem to remember back in the day when our fellow Satchmate(ProgX) was gunned down during a robbery attemp.I also remember that we(T2Jers)banded together(pardon the pun)to wish him well. For a bunch of total strangers to unite, throw differences aside to show support for another total stranger,I thought was absolutely........incredible. I did not know him personally but still felt sorrow for him & his family, as did most if not all people here.It shouldn't be something bad to happen to bring us together
.......What would happen if we here at T2J were all invited to a special get together to meet Joe & here him play for us privately,Then an after show party?.Would we be at each others throats?I really hope not!!!!.Go to a concert wondering if you'll run across an enemy??not a good thing:( Quite frankly I think we would all get along famously......
I truely hope Joe doesn't read all this Gobeldegook because I think he would be upset to some degree. But he will most likely hear about it from Eric anyway...what a mess..
I have also noticed that there are many more new members logging on for the first time. What must they be thinking about us??....
Remember:Once a T2Jer,Always a T2Jer.Like a Boomerang,we always come back...lol..:).......
For those in conflict,Take a break for a while....We'll be here when you come back. But don't go away mad, just go away!....lol....just joking!!! Come on folks, lighten up....even if you know you're right...Just let it go!.. pretty please with Raspberry Jam on it!!! Do it for the 'ol blaze.....L8er

Strange is a fun recording and I am enjoying EVERY song. I`m diggin the complex groove laid down by Jeff and Matt, it`s kind of like the less is more rule (not to fusion) to writing. I am a forty-one year old drummer currently playing in a blues and rock cover band. I have listened to you perform In Canada and in San Diego at 4th and B. That`s a few years of crazy and beautiful music. Thank you for all the emotions that run in my head while listening........cool.

Guitar playing people: I have this book called "The Advancing Guitarist" by Mick Goodrick. It's excellent. Check it out - I got mine from Amazon UK. Theory, ideas, suggestions. All good stuff. Be warned, though - not everything is "served on a plate" - you have to do a lot of the work yourself, but it keeps you on your toes!!!! Later, Dave

Joe , first of all the DVD (San Fransisco) is great and the backstage info you’ve did made me curious. I have 2 questions for you. You use 2 Marshall ( 6100 LM 7 valves preamp) amps and a Boss distortion DS1.Do you use the (Pregain)distortion of the Marshalls or only the Boss DS1. As a guitarist myself I use a GT3 Boss ,The COSM (speaker simulation Marshall 1960) of the GT3 connected with the Boss DS1 doesn’t work properly . All the delay’s ,Harmonizer ,and the Boss Super Chorus is no problem. I think that you use the Clean channel of the Marshall Amps. Which setup (send ,return , effect loop) do you really use with settings/parameters.

Greetings from Holland Eddie1

Iambic - "Try to remember it's not how good you are compaired to others, but how you personally progress"... this is very true and I'd add that the true fealing of success comes out of how much you enjoy playing... loving it is most important of all...

andre - phryg dom - wow... very stern stuff.... maybe this thing would be better handled in private.... airing dirty laundry in public... it looks to me like you both have serious issues... I'm sure that if you both really want too that they can all be put right.... I hope you can repair the damage... but not in public.. it does neither of you any good...

dont flame me for interfering... I truely have the best interests of both of you at heart...

Maire - dont blame youself for anything... you are a real gem... you are also well loved and deservedly so... especially if you can get me back stage passes to Yvettes place... schwing...

amazing .... so much angst.... and I didn't see VBIL or Avarice post once.......

Axmanjr: Dude, do you ever go to Pal Gilbert's studio there in L.V.....Batgirl Studios....Or have you met him!?!?!

Yo Congrat's Mr. Nick on your 200th!!!!

JS FANATIC: Mr. Aaron Hill....Godspeed dude....I know how it is, and you get yo arse back here safely dude!! (I build yo motors so Eagles can fly, lol)

For Adun: LMAO brotha!! It would take me awhile to find the original "Banned to the Winger site" post!!!! elpp, can you help me bro!?!? (I have a sorry arse slow internet connection)..

LOL DRAFTER37: Words to live by!! I played JOE's self titled at work today, and a co-worker asked me why I am such a SATCH/VAI fanatic....I said, "You'll never understand"....He likes the AHHHHH, KILLL KILLLL (or sounds like someone being squashed in a trash compactor!!) type music!! I don't even waste my time on those guy's!!!!

Narface: That is horrible!! My condolences...One of the guy's at work is a surfer, and he goes to Bali every year for the cheap prices, surf and........He said he can't believe what happened..Almost had tears in his eyes because he said the people there are just the kindest warmest people on Earth.... What a shame.....But like I always say....Good will triumph over evil..........On a lighter note......That's some kuul news there dude about JOE's son doing the mixing @ the concert!!

Lastly, I would like to say that I find it interesting that Andre spoke his piece or peace or peas or whatever the hell we call it these days!! This is not a good situation having a SATCH bandmember getting involved in a flame war and exposing himself all over the webspace....No matter who he is defending....He has his love for TWIG, so be it....He would have been much better off telling her to layoff the board for awhile...I am not defending Michelle either..I state my opinion as I see the post written, and I don't care what reason Twig used to: " thought they could get insider's information on not only Joe and his whereabouts (ie, can you get us 10 tickets and backstage passes...), but also my direct involment with Guns & Roses, and the mystery surrounding record release dates and shows and the like." to change her name....NO ONE, and I repeat, NO ONE knew who the hell guitarzebabe was, and if she took offense to Michelle's post, then she does not have a problem, but she should realize that this is what the World is like, and whatever she does to make it a better place is all she should be concerned with....The little things you do, day by day, doing the right thing....Having a FLEXIBLE personality and being able to deal with a situation by first thinking your plan and then acting your plan....I am sorry to say this, and I love my enemies, but I have lost a lot of respect for you Eric, by only knowing you through the DVD, and then having you get waaaaaayyyyy to personal over a very misunderstood issue!!!! I love my wife and three kids and can understand how you feel, but you went about it the wrong way dude!!!! Are you any better by calling Phrygian Dominant the "OH-SO-GREAT"!! And previously stating "It is refreshing to actually find that morals still do exit in this world." You haven't been around dude..........You've dissed my friends here and I will forgive you, but you really screwed things up!!!!! Man, what a letdown!!!! :-(((......I wish you much success in the future with your love TWIG, and good luck with G-n-R....BTW, I never liked their leadsinger's voice......

I'm outta' here, and JOE, I've alway's loved what you've done for guitar, thank-you.... It's been real, and I will "alway's with you, alway's with me"........

Peace on Earth..../\/\ike

hey
I have a stupid question - but why do you use all this scales?I use then only to practise my fingers, I don't know, maybe I'm too stupid or something, but I play by ear and I don't understand when someone says eg to this song u have to use such and such scale, I don't get it :( I just play notes which fit to the song, maybe I am primitive or what?!?!?
help!!!!
Martina :(

Not been on for a couple of days and have read all posts since about Tuesday. I can't believe this bit of Michelle and I having a giggle has turned into something so horrid. I know Joe is a very busy fella but I wish he had got the time to read what we wrote and tell us himself if he felt any offense. If he did I know I would apologise most profusly.

Lots of Love to you Joe and your family.

My 98th message, nearly 100.

For Adun - Arthur Brown - can't remember exactly what he was called, I was just a kid when he came out. For the future it will be Go To Concerts, Will Have Earplugs.

Joe - On the subject of loudness at Concerts, I thought you had the sound just about right, loud enough and not painful.

Local Person - I like Fawlty Towers, have all episodes.

Paul Clark - are you getting the confusions now, no I am not making passes at anybody, heaven forbid I'm a married person you know, sorry old git. (isn't git a good word)

Anibur - Wow you're posting again, not had a good week at work either, we've been told jobs will be cut again next year so I could soon be a household bod.

Peace and Happiness everybody, and oh yes NO WAR.

Sharon
