Joe: Havent heard any feedback yet. Have you listened to Nick Lee's demo CD?. We gave it to you backstage at the Toronto SHow in August. The same time JSCLone1 gave you the video.

Ya Yo Gakk - Someone said that Joe was going to play, and then I found an article that said he was playing something at a pep rally before the game. But then Fox ended up not showing the National Anthem on tv, so Joe might've done it after all. I don't know.

MegaBoyd - Ugh! I knew that...thanks for the correction.
LGU89 - The Giants are going to lose... :-) Go Angels!
PhrygianDominant - Thanks. This is a test...click here to email me.
drafter37 - I've been getting into Friends recently too. I don't listen to it every day, but I have been listening to it more and more often.
PRETORIANO - The song is Mind Storm, and it's done using a 7 string guitar.
evbro - Hi.

Hey Satchfans, if anyone is interested, I found a place that has tabs for the SBM album. But it's all done on the GuitarPro program. No big deal. Just go to www.mysongbook.com and download the GuitarPro demo on the bottom right hand of the screen. Then on the top, search for Satriani songs- there's about 90 some that people did. The people who transcribed these are amazing. The program is pretty cool too... except that the demo won't let you print out the tabs. But still! I'm working on transcribing alot of those songs on Powertab, so I can have a printable copy to play with. Be warned, the site is very slow at uploading pages especially on the T3 line that im using at college! It's either that or just wait until March '03 for the tab book to come out! Have fun!

KhakiCoalition - People like that should be gagged, dragged out to the street and shot once in the stomach, let them suffer for a minute then one final shot in the head.

Plum Loco - Well yeah but for certain muscles. The stuff in the human hand is very intricate and delicate. I have to be careful. Small exercises help. Sometimes guitar if I stop when it starts to hurt a bit.

Invigor - Stop lifting like girls? Try heavy lifting while striving to be a musician and have my condition. I'm pissed.

I've lost 4 months of my life in which I could have been practicing music and guitar.

Death Cube - Is it hindering you? Is it painful?

js clone 1 well thanx for asking, yes and no , i mean if i am lifting something heavy ifeel a strain and a bit of pain, playingis fine but if my picking hand moves or bounces(heavy palm muting, arps, sweeping alternate picking)it hurts, if it bumps the volume knob it hurts , i am dealing with it . i still only have about 68% mobility in my fingers on my picking hand but i still practice everyday and it is getting better less pain everyday GOOD LUCK and a speedy recovery to you my friend!!!!

Hello Joe!

I was wondering if you are going to play Satch Bootie and Always with you, always with me when you come to Seattle. Also, do you think you can sign my guitar then? Finally, YOU ROCK!

Thanks, Bjorn Larsen (Huge Norwegian Fan)

Death Cube k - Oh it's your right hand... and it's still recovering. I wish I was in your shoes.

Megaboyd - My hand was strained in eaely summer wheil I was at work. I had to lift about 8 or 9 photo copier sorters (150lb attachments to the side of a photo copier). Up soem stairs. They don't have handles or any place to grab really so it was grab whatever, wherever and grab hard. the next few weeks I experienced pain while trying to play and this has been happening ever since. My hands have been healing actually but I am learning plumbing and going to work every second day so i'm afraid my hands are working too much although i'm trying my hardest to find ways to lift or carry things that require little to no grip. I always see people carrying large, heavy things with one hand and it just makes me uneasy to see someone do that.

Hi Joe.

I'm a sculptor, designer living in Baltimore MD. We met many years ago when you played a gig at Hammerjacks, a night club I was working at. You (and Stu) hung out for a while during sound check and were very friendly to me.

I have been following your work since the very beginning and you never cease to amaze me. It has been a real pleasure to see your style grow more innovative over the years, while still clinging to the warmth and passion that has, for me, always been your trademark.

Ok...so you already know you are a good player... which leads to the reason for this post:

I have spent the last year developing a web site for my art. In all humility, I think it is a pretty outstanding site compared to many that are on the net... but there is one thing missing. Music.

I realize this is a bit absurd, but I was hoping you would consider writing and recording a 30-45 second loop to play on my site while people are viewing my sculpture. You would, of course, be fully credited.

As a starving artist, I can barely feed my family at times, so I know I could never hope to afford the fee your efforts would deserve. All I can offer is barter... a trade of your artistic skills for mine.

I realize you must have people leeching off your name wherever they can, and I am loathe to include myself in that group. I hope you will believe my interest is in your music... not trying to sell more art by associating your good name with it.

I hope you will take the time to view my site and consider my proposal. I would be happy to trade an existing sculpture or create a new one with your tastes in mind.

My site, Arbitrary Design, is at: http://www.arbitrarydesign.com

No matter what you decide, thanks for taking the time to view this post and thanks for the many many hours of enjoyment I have gotten from your music. I wish you all the best for your future!

Regards, Robert Belgrad http://www.arbitrarydesign.com info@arbitrarydesign.com

JOE, it was great to finally meet you. Tell me if it was kind of difficult to play that early and in that cold weather at the Giants world series rally. I know my fingers would lock up a little. You sounded great and I really dig that low low tone you get with your wah pedal when its lifted up. I noticed your tech was playing around with a knob on the side, what exactly is that? Anyway, I hope to see you at our show on tuesday night, and if we get the chance, we can do one of your favs, down down down!!!!

Death Cube K - I'm up late tonight. 12:30am. Don't start school until 10:20am tomorrow. I am listening to some music and I decided to listen to your Cube Become I. I really dig this man. I ilke that little climbing and then dropping melody you do in the beggining and the shred solo run is cool. Very buckethead-ish. The bassline's kinda funky, funny, mysterious. Cool stuff man.

Let me know when there's more. I'm now officially a cube fan.

Ditto that, OCP. OCP ROCKS. This guy's music is just so right. It's so damn good. How else can I explain it?

JBlaze, if I wore a patch for everything I was addicted to, I'd look like walking bubble wrap!!! lol!

Clarky, equality was never a big issue with me, but if I'm doing the same job your doing, for the same amount of years, I better be getting paid the same rate. I once worked at a place where the boss gave this guy a dollar raise because he got his girlfriend pregnant. I got a quarter like everyone else. I did 10x more work than this guy (doing the same job), but he got the raise because he forgot to use a condom and was now a "provider". That was back in 1985 or 86, and that's the last time I remember having a beef with equality, so I'm not sooo bad :)

AUSTIN LEWIS- yeah that figures, i was actually EXTREMELY surprised they showed joe on tv that one time, i mean...anyone mentioning joe satriani or steve vai on tv is basically shot on site when the camera pans away... not surprised at all they didnt show it (if he played it already), and if he hasnt played it yet and will in the future i wont be surprised if they fail to show him...wonder if people will notice? i mean, every other game starts with the national anthem then suddenly one doesnt? things that make you go muthafuckin hmmmmm
