Ya Yo, yes there are tacomas everywhere, but that is an s-runner, it comes with body kit, nice wheels, trd engine supercharged, new exhaust chrome tip, an alot of other mods. point is there are thousands of tacomas out there, i drive a 97 taco myself, but there are no s runners on the road, I plan to start the trend.

Megaboyd - 6 cylinder? For a truck that size, you sure you're getting enough power? The VW Passat V6 last year was 190hp. It's a 3000lb car. VW engines got more powerful this year though.

Man, an amazing engine to me is the VW 1.8T. A little 1.8L turbo engine puts out 180hp. Or the 3.0L Accord V6 with 240hp. Wow.

Ya Yo - That car looks a hell of a lot like a Testarossa. Ferrari of course.

I dunno man, when you compare the super sports cars of yesterday to the ones of today, you just feel sick.

Let's take the Testarossa for example. 5.0L engine, flat 12, 0-60mph in 5.4sec, top speed 170mph, 390hp.

Now a Bugatti EB110

3.5L engine, V12, 0-60mph in 3.5sec (!!!) top speed, 212 (super sport model top speed 221mph), quad turbo, 552hp.

And still, with a smaller engine, the Bugatto EB110 still get 450lb-ft torque over the Testarossa's 360lb-ft.

Then look at mileage, 14mpg for the Test, and 18 for the EB.

Technology moves so quickly. I think the only street legal car faster than an EB110S is the McLaren F1 and that things's probably huge.

JS CLONE - the Ferarri 348 Spider has a 3.4 L V8 , 300 Hp, 237 lb-ft torque, top speed of 170 mph....but it's a cool car....pales in comparison to the power of the dodge viper... 8.0 liter v-10, 450Hp, 490 lb.-ft. torque, 205mph top speed....BUT they all bow down to the Ford GT90....V-12 quad turbo (made by taking two existing engines--Romeo V-8s, like those in the lincoln mark VIII--cutting the front two cylinders off one block and the back two off the other, then vacuum-welding the two blocks together), 720 horsepower at 6,600 rpm, 660 pound-feet of torque at 4,750 rpm, 0-60 in 3.1 seconds, 0-100 in 6.2 seconds, the quarter mile in 10.9, and a top speed of 235 miles per hour

Let me tell all of you a story of a great Satch fan. Well, he was more of a U2 fan, but Satch is on the top of his list right after U2. Afterall, he did have Always With Me, Always With You played during his wedding. He's an Aussie, travelled to every continent except the Antarctic. He's a teacher that has taught in several countries. He said his goals in life were to visit every continent and have kids. He has many great adventures, always telling everone about his experiences. Very sporty, optimistic and great sense of humour. He always talks about music with me, be it Satch, U2 or even Red Hot Chilli Peppers. I asked him if he wanted to go to a Satch concert with me. He said, "Yeah! Of course!" but then he realized he had a conference to go to. The IB conference was held in Bali, he never came back.

narface : thats a sad story to hear... was this guy a good friend of yours??

jsclone1 : i'm gonna keep listening and give the vocals a chance... while i was searching around for in flames i stumbled onto a band called Stratovarious... i think they have some interesting neoclassical stuff to listen to...

the mclaren F1 had a 6.9 litre V12, 623hp and a top speed of about 235mph... i don't think it had turbochargers either, but i could be wrong... just can't remember...

jblaze1 : are ya gonna move to san francisco if ya get the guitar guard job, or will you commute?? :-)

cheers...

Hi Joe, I am Mano, I am so glad to get at last in touch with you. I am a fan of you.

I will try to explain to you the reason of my e mail, as shortly as possible: I am a furniture designer (new design). Surf but also Rock, good Rock & Roll, rhythm blues etc. serve as inspiration for my lines.

Your music has always accompanied me in my creative work specially "Surfing with the allien", "The Extremist" etc.. My TOP priority wish is to be able to contact you to present my collection via internet and to have your autorisation to use some of your " song titles " for my collection for fanclubs. If you would prefer, I would be glad to invite you for a presentation at my modest interim exposition in Spain.

Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.

Yours A+Mano

JSC1 - I forget what the Phryg Dom post was about but i think that it was to do with composition / writing to bide your time with. On a different subject, Cars - well they're okay i suppose, they showed the new MG over here (UK) recently, standard i think that it comes in about 350 bhp ish but you can get factory mods to take you up to 960 bhp - now that's what you call a motor! My last bike was 170kg - 130bhp and didn't redline until 15500 rpm, that's what i call a power to weight ratio, barking motor, and all out of 598cc ;-)

PHY3 - congratulations, you both look very happy, all the best for the futute.

NARFACE - sincere condolences man, there's nothing else to say.
