Check out these pics of Our Wedding, it was simply perfect. Our guitarist friend even played a nice long version of Randy Rhoads' "Dee" during the ceremony. It could not have been any better. Our "first dance" was "Thank You" off of Led Zeppelin II.

Joe keeps switching guitars..cos...they probably go out of tune slightly when he plays and to get it right all the time, he changes. how to tune your guitar..normal tuning..(thick top skinny strings) E A D G B E

ovation - I remember Kung Fu... lol.... maybe the Theory posse will need to learn - "paint fence" ---- up--down--up--down...
Choco - Crunchie dipped in tea?????? what a savage
tapper - yes the 2120 and the controller come together when you buy a new one... so if you buy a use unit, make sure that the controller is with it...
on the scallop debate... it's all personal taste... the guys that like it will play quicke/betterr because they like the feal and it allows them to 'open up' - true enough it's in the mind, but the mind makes a difference... For example, JSC1 seems to be failing out of love with his JEM, this don't mean that it is not possible to speed pick on it or that he is a bad player, it means that he is uncomfortable for one reason or another. This is to do with the whole experience of playing a JEM - body shape, neck profile, fret size, etc, etc. scalloped fingerboards are just the same in this respect. Yes they make vibrato easier and yes you no longer feal the fret-board but a 'strong' player may get intonation trouble due to over-pressure when fretting a string.
I find scallops a bit too much but I do really like great big frets... which is I guess a milder version of the same idea.... I recall when my frets went from standard to jumbo on my Strat. It just felt so much nicer to me that everything improved [including speed and accuracy]... This however does not mean that big frets or scallops = faster / better playing... many very good players like small frets.... it's a personal thing nothing more...

Death Cube K - Yeah lotsa metal palyers are wimp players. Always have so much distortion with 9's tuned a whole step down. Not to say they don't sound good when they play it but they're still wimp guitarists.

What guage do you have on your BSB. I assume 4 springs in all spots but the middle.

Yea yeah, lemme know when the new tune is up.

Hey guys, I just wanted to add to the Jem, strings debate that JSC1 and Death Cube K brought up. I love to play fast, and for me a set of D'addario 9-42 is perfect. I love the tone of those too. I've tried 10's before, but they start having a SRV sound to them under distortion, and I've always been about having a buzzless, smooth lead tone, kindof like Satch meets Eric Johnson, and the 9's do that for me. About the Jems, I hate em too. The neck is set so deep into the body (the frretboard is almost flush with the body) that the guitar is hard to pick on. The guitar seemed kind of one dimensional tonally when I played it too. I think the s series from Ibanez, is the best guitar I've ever played. I've had an S-470 for three years now that I replaced the pickups with dimarzios, but that's it. It has full smooth leads sounds from the bridge, blues sounds from the neck, and convincing strat tones from the 2 and 4 positions. the best thing is how fast and naturally this guitar lets you play. It seems to put your wrist at the perfect angle to pick naturally. I can't say enough glowing things about the S guitars. Brilliant!

Good morning...

Can anyone direct me to some good tabs for "Clouds Race Across the Sky"? Yeah I know I should do the right thing and buy the official tab book, but this is something I want to learn before the book would make it to my mailbox. I appreciate any input.....Thanks ;)

I'm playing at a halloween party tonight.....I was going to show up dressed like Saddam Hussein but K- Mart was fresh out of Sphincter-boy costumes.

hey dude,

At one point you toured the southeastern us. The romour was that you stopped off in Florence Alabamaand did a show. I met a fan that saw it at Flowers Hall at the University of North Alabama, did the show and hit the road in a day or so. Hope ya got to sample some of the flavor of the locals and the re-knowned recording studios. Now, some where, some time, ya decided to drop one of your guitars and tour case. Have the serial number of it and the case with radio active marks on the Ibanez porfessional case. Would prefer to cooaberate about the authenticity of this item in email. the webmaster should have the nessacary address. Hope it inspires a good memory at the least. gortie

OCPS470 - I know what you mean about the S series by Ibanez. I traded my Jem555BK for an S540BK LTD. It's a custom shop 540 with a binding going all along the fretboard and headstock. Unfortunately, I took the Edge off my S to replace the Lo Pro in my Jem7V because the original gold Lo Pro in the Jem broke strings so often. With the Edge from the S on my Jem, not a single string has broken yet. It works out quite nicely.

I noticed though, the whammy action with the Edge on the 7V made it a little stiffer which I far prefer.

I only played my S in the guitar store for about 1 hour and at home for a out 45 minutes. Then I had my hand injury which didn't let me play plus the guitar needed a fret dress and some neck adjustments cause it buzzed quite badly. It was used but in excellent condition. I love the trem tensioner in the back of those guitars.

Thin Mohogany body. Mohog so much better than basswood.
