Please Play in NYC at Madison Square Garden it is the clostest thing to my house, i live in second ave in New York City and i cant really be able to go out side of the city that much cause of my parents and when it comes to going to concerts they wont have it :) iam a really big fan and my first time seeing you perorm was at Jones Beach Sept 14 the only reaons why i went to that concert was that my uncle took me we where both front row center it was a really aweosme concert i had so much fun. i am a really huge fan of your and i just wish that you would at lest do one Concert at Madison Square Garden cause that is the only venue that is close to my house and that my paents don't have to worry about driving me out side of the states. Another reason why is becausei have school so i cant really go to see your concerts out side of New York city. but please if u get a chance to read this message give me an answer okay ?

Hey What's up ! I love Your guitar playing i think that you are one of the most talented guitar players out there, i think that we need more awesome guitar players like you in the music industry anyway i am gonna get down to the serious stuff.
1: i have trouble playing the chorus part to "Satch boogie" can you give me some insite on how to play it. iam having a little bit of trouble on it :)
2: Do u still keep in Touch with Steve Vai one of your former students? if so it would be great for you two to make a album toughter :)
3: Do u give lessons in New York City ?, unfortunetly i live in New York City and i hear that u are located somewhere in the Bay Area if so i would love to get a lesson from you :)
I think that Surfing With the Alien is an awesome song it' s actually one of my favorites besides War and The Extremist.and Always with me Always with you.

I know I'll probably regret answering this post, but ahh what they hey.... damien if you knew what an artificial harmonic was, you'd know it could be bent, and if you had even half a clue you'd know that you don't need a whammy bar (proper name: tremelo arm) in order to bend a note.....
OK I need to eat... probably a good thing cos of the urine-extraction team online tonight ROFL!!!!!!!!

jonny - Sounds like you have dirty POTs in your amp. Radio Shack has contact cleaner, get some and try it. Be very careful(duh!) so as not to fry yourself. If you're not comfortable with this idea, take it to a repair shop for a tune up.
Clarky - we've DSL in the studio, checked out your IUMA site. Great stuff man!
DCK - I'll try to check your new stuff wed., didn't have time to get to your site.
Hardest thing(at the moment) - finding the right drummer, or any drummer for that matter. lol! I don't want to use a machine for the final product...must be a real human...

Hi Motormouth- to answer some of your questions: Joe lives in San Francisco, yes he does keep in touch with Vai on a regular basis (they have been doing the G3 tour together and I think that they live very close to each other- according to an interview I read), and as for Satch Boogie- try it slowly at first in order to get the correct positioning of your fingers. then you'll know what notes will come next without getting hand cramps over it. This actually works for any song. If you surf on the web, you can find a whole bunch of old interviews with Satch. Try guitar.com.

Hey did anyone else notice that the "Reward for stolen guitar" thingy is missing from the home page? What's up webmaster? Was the guitar found or is it a lost cause?
Plum Loco, I agree with you 100% on the theory thing. It's more fun playing what feels right, rather than playing what is technically right. I'm not knocking theory, it's very important, but it is'nt fun anymore when it becomes work.
dud 26, no, no, no, no, absolutely DO NOT put lemon oil on ANY part of your guitar. Lemon oil is the devil.....any guitar polish or a very lightly dampened cloth is all you need to clean your fretboard.
Hey everyone!!!! I am post number 13,000.....awesome :) :) :)
