andrew -- no sweat...it's really hard to get a "joe" tone off a digi device as his tone is very raw and unproccessed. Basic straight jap ds-1 with a Boss dd-2 is the easiest way to get the simplified version of a classic "joe" live tone -- just have to be pluggin into something like an old marshall jcm 800, 1968 plexi (woa..amazing amp!!) or his amp...marshall 6100
i prefer the plexi out of all of them :) but they are hard to get, so I settled for the 6100...amaznig amp!

Arrrgh! Now this is a tough choice to make... I love Echo, but Crystal Planet is definitely my all-time fave Satch CD. In this case, I think I'm going to very narrowly give the nod to Echo. So our new score is:
Echo-6 WJIM-5

ECHO!! WJIM is a fantastic song, but the emotions and feeling that comes through the guitar on the TM2 disc.... Damn... I can sit and listen to it over and over.
ECHO=7, WJIM=5
I also updated the review for the portland show to reflect what I witnessed and did to protect the slot I'd achieved next to the barrier. Never had to defend myself or the wife, but it was close.................
Gobble Gobble........................................
Thanks again Joe!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!
Stu Not Boo-No- I haven't seen Joe's Reel Satriani Video. Where can I get it? My opinion on the CD probably will change, but I like all the other CDS a little bit better. Yeah-Sorry, I meant Killer Bee Bop. Jeff's on it ;-D LOL
Calm Down Invigor
Invigor and Drafter-I was the one that asked the question about everyone's least favorite Joe CD. I said least favorite too, not worst or bad.
Chocoholic-I LOVE Hook! I first saw it when I was 3 or 4 and now I'm almost 13, LONG time ago. Actually I just rented it. It's one of my favorites.

I prefer Echo, studio version rocks, but the live version is the best !"#¤!)/ I have ever heard, it blew me away the first time I heard it, and still does everytime I listen to it!!! Jimi Hendrix eat your heart out! ;-)
