LFG All the way, but OM is a great song too. Both speak volumes to me.

OM=8 LFG=5

Just got back from an unbeliveable day. Don't know if you all heard but three of my firefighting brothers were killed last monday in Coos Bay Oregon. The roof collapsed and they got trapped an ran out of air (personally one of my major fears with this profession). 250 fire engines of all shapes and sizes and 8500 firefighters from across the country showed up to honor those brave individuals that gave thier lives in the ultimate sacrafice to protect property and lives in their community.

Please be careful out there. Appreciate all that life has to offer. Be kind to your loved ones and charish every moment with family and friends. Our time here is so short anyway, make the most of the time you have left................

Good night all.

The poll at this point is actually:

OM - 9 LFG - 6

(I believe anuj's vote was the one that was missed)

I vote for LFG, bringing the votes to:

OM - 9 LFG - 7

STUNOTBOO - LOL- Try this one...............

A bloke walks up to a man on the ski slope and says 'excuse me, i don't know whether you can help me ? I've just started to learn to ski and as i'm dyslexic i don't know whether i should be zigging when i'm zagging or zagging when i'm zigging............'

'Don't ask me' replies the man 'i'm a toboganist'

'Oh' says the dyslexic 'i'll have twenty Marlboro then, thanks'

CALF EYE - Set your hand on fire ! I've never seen anyone play that fast - lmao

MICHELLE - Animal cruelty to the sound of Joe ! That's unless you were using slang ! lol

2 TON - Under warranty - Cool !

LGU89 - Happy Birthday ;-)

CHOCOHOLIC - Yep, it is a little colder and wetter up here but at least it's not all flat and i'm close to Manchester for when Joe comes back. :-)

FIREMAN- Amen to that, words that we should all live by, you never know when it's going to end, so live every day like your last. You guys are all heroes, unsung ones at that.

PHRYDOM - Re: Dee Snider, the music might not have been much too write home about but he was one of the three people to address congress over the lunatic ravings of the PMRC along with FZ and total power to the man, John Denver!

OVATION - I actually 'stumbled' across that lingo in a 'lad' mag. lol Useful phrases for when you visit Japan of all things! Don't you think that with over 1 million hikikomori there should be some damn good guitarists coming out the land of the rising sun soon ?

Sorry about the long post guys, i don't get net access on a weekend :-)

LMAO Michelle about watching "LISF"!!....I notice my volume creeps up real loud too, and I'm constanly adjusting it, lol....I tell ya', toward's the end of the show, JOE is really on cruise control, you can feel it coming out of him, it amazes me that he can play like that day in and day out on a tour and not break a sweat!!....And if he does, he sure hides it well, lol!! BTW, Happy Birthday for your daughter!.....My oldest just turned one six, lol....gimme a swig from that bottle ya got there, lol......

LGU89: Happy Birthday!!

chocoholic: Julia Child is (or was, I don't know if she still is) a famous cooking show lady that had her own program....Every show she would add wine to the food while cooking, and sometimes had her own glass on the side....And boy could she drink!! She was a riot!!

Love the Drop D Destruction, I'm going with: Oriental Melody.. Oriental Melody: 10....LFG: 7....BTW, Surfin' lost!? WTF!!

punkdude75: Check out any of the popular online stores (cd universe, tower records etc...) and you will find "Merry Axemas 1 & 2"....Try 1 first (or both would be better), as JOE's "Silent Night/ Holy Night Jam" is on there!! And it ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

r6rocker: lol dude, and you haven't heard of the ex. B'z guitarist Tak Matsumoto (guest on Vai' "AIAUW"), or the one and only HOTEI !?!?....He did Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War is over)" on "Merry Axemas 1"....That song really tugs at the heart....His solo is perfect, and a beautiful representation of that song....Check them out on the net.... ;-)

Ken Brown: Mine....Our sincerest condolences go out to all the Family members involved and all the Firefighters around the country (the Globe, for that matter)....Beautiful words of wisdom there bro........A moment of silence in honor.............

Peace all, /\/\ike

Stu Not Boo-Good, Yankees fans are the BEST!
The presents I got from my dad are: A cordless phone w/ caller ID and call waiting, the Stuart Little 2 playstation game, Shakira's "Laundry Service", then 20 dollars, plus my monthly allowance. I got some cards from my family, and they gave me money, so including my allowance I have $120!! I can't wait to spend some!:) Have a GREAT day everyone!

Artanis I - Cool, I'm glad you understood it. When I read it back I barely understood it myself but couldn't think of a better way of putting it.... Nevermind.

JSC1 - Good advice on picking a while back, but there's just one thing - what's "off picking"?

Oh man, I have exams all week!!!!!!!! Today I had a Live Performance exam where I had to play Stevie Wonder's classic Sir Duke, and I also had an Aural Perception exam that involved interval recognition and rhythmic dictation. What fun I had... Tomorrow it's Sight Reading and Theory, Wednesday it's Technical Development and Post Production, Thursday I have a day off and Friday it's Session Styles and Music Business Studies. What an exciting, fun packed week is ahead of me..... But then it's Christmas and I'm getting a J-Station!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Later all Neil

Website is www.angelfire.com/freak/tvaughn

Thanks for your help. You can just e-mail me a reply through my website or the e-mail provided in the profile. Thanks Tony
